Thank you giddy and pear for the messages.x

Giddymamma · 07/03/2015 07:12

Aw rubbish aurora. Hope this is just things settling down for you. And that they settle down fricking quickly.

My second line has faded away with no peak. Presume that means no egg for me this month. Garg. Don't want to stop feeding yet.

Toby, good luck with bfp. Hope all is okay.

peardrop2 · 07/03/2015 07:11

Ava - how are you doing?

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 07/03/2015 07:07

Oh aurora Hmm I'm so so sorry Hmm It's a horrible, gut wrenching in fact! Ispy is right though, it looks like your cycles are shortening. How long was cycle 1? I know you were confused whether this was cycle 1 or 2. My first cycle was 39 days and my shortest cycle has been 30 days (with my last cycle 34). Have you had any thoughts to whether you might drop the night feed?

ispyfispi · 07/03/2015 06:42

:(
Hopefully each month your cycle is getting closer to normal at least?

auroraboringalis · 07/03/2015 05:48

Hoi. 6dpo and yesterday AF arrived. I am not amused. Very sad.

tobytoes · 06/03/2015 21:33

By the way, I breastfeed my littlen to sleep then 3-4 times at night, and nap time after lunch.

tobytoes · 06/03/2015 21:31

Thanks pear didt read your last post until I posted mine. I think as it's been such a strange way it all happened it's made me really scared. I had a full blown period, but the nurse said it may have been a heavy implantation. I am really scared. I started another thread a couple of days ago about it all and was stressing about the scan then the blood results and I've got good news but now I've found something else to worry about. Your right pear I need to relax and stop thinking about it.

tobytoes · 06/03/2015 21:27

Yeah the nurse said I'm not out of the woods yet( because of my mega bleed) until they've scanned me again on the 19th but it looks good. It was a bit of a strange one because I got my positive a day after my, or what I thought was my period (mega bleed) . Thanks for the link, I will have a look at that.

peardrop2 · 06/03/2015 21:15

So hard not to worry!

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 06/03/2015 21:15

Toby - I know it's so hard to worry. With dc1 I had chronic constipation which one doctor thought was an ectopic pregnancy and resulted in me having to stay in hospital for one night which was v traumatic but it was just chronic constipation and everything was fine. I think as miscarriage is common in 1 in 4 women they take any matter seriously which is great but it also puts the fear of the worst in your head! Unless the bleeding gets worse I would try and relax this weekend (maybe do something to take your mind off it) and call your midwife to ask about bf on Monday morning.

kellymom.com/pregnancy/bf-preg/bfpregnancy_safety/
Some useful info here. I think the gist is its fine! Congratulations btw!

peardrop2 · 06/03/2015 21:10

Toby - how often do you bf? If I was you I would call your midwife on Monday morning and ask her for advice on the matter just to put your mind at rest. If they've seen a sac then that is positive right? And your bloods are good? Do you have another scan booked?

OP posts:
tobytoes · 06/03/2015 21:06

Thankyou pear at the start of it all a miscarriage was mentioned to me and now I'm a bit paranoid and I've been googling ( stupid thing to do I know) and it says that when you breastfeed progesterone levels can be low and you need it to have a successful pregnancy and it can result in a miscarriage.

peardrop2 · 06/03/2015 20:59

Hi tony - congrats on your BFP. Always nice to hear that some women can continue to bf and get pregnant! I'm confused why you're worried. It's fine to breastfeed whilst being pregnant. Lots of women bleed whilst being pregnant...I have a friend who bled up until 7 months and she's just had a healthy boy.

Thankyou pear

tobytoes · 06/03/2015 20:55

I'm just going to ask and hope for a reply. Okay it's a bit long, I'm still breastfeeding my 2.8 year old and recently (monday) I got a positive pregnancy. Should I be asking the doctor about my progesterone levels? It was a bit of a panic because I had alot of bleeding so had a scan which just shows the sac but too early for a heartbeat yet, I've had blood tests and the hcg level is rising as it should but I never told the doctor or any of the nurses I'm still feeding my daughter, should I have? Does it make a difference?

peardrop2 · 06/03/2015 20:54

Toby - yes

Hiya ladies can I ask you all a question please?

ispyfispi · 06/03/2015 17:47

Hi Giddy, I've been trying to up the calories too. I think I need to re-read the article and look into the research further as I'm not sure how much I should be aiming for, I don't want to be gaining weight for nothing!
Pear I did get a whole load of ic ov sticks but after a couple of months of nothing at all I stopped bothering. I have to be realistic and accept that feeding on demand, especially at night means I'm nowhere near ovulating. However, the good news is that I think we're getting nearer to being able to cut down at night. Ds rolled away and fell asleep not on the boob last night, my others never did this! So I plan to take a step back at bedtimes as soon as we're all better.
Hope everyone gets a decent night Smile

Giddymamma · 06/03/2015 16:42

Ah Rosie, sorry I wasn't much use to you!

Here's hoping for the high, it didn't come last month..... :)

Sorry to hear about all these poorly babas and partners. Hold on a bit longer, lSpring is coming!

Has anyone changed anything after reading the article about eating yourself fertile again? I've been trying I lose a bit of weight but having read that I wondered if my body was freaking out about lack of cals.... So I'm eating lots of little, healthy snacks regularly so it knows I'm not starving. Hmm

RosieRue52 · 06/03/2015 15:47

I can't keep up anymore!

Spek, Giddy, Yoko
Belated welcome from me!!

Giddy I was the one that asked about the 24 hour wait, we usually go 10pm -7/8 am without nursing, & have been doing this for over 6 weeks now which is why I was considering the 24 hour wait, but DS fell ill so that is going to have to wait til he is back to normal

Go Pear Go!! Excited for you & everyone else, seems like a busy weekend ahead for all of you!! GOOD LUCK Wink

Can't wait to see how many of you get a BFP!!

peardrop2 · 06/03/2015 13:55

Aww thanks ladies! Yay Duchess that gives me some hope...although a small part of me doesn't want to go near DH when he is sick lol The things we do!! Good luck with Dtd at in laws, it will deffo put a spark back!

Giddy - exciting that you're close to having a high soon!! I also brought my cbfm with Dc1 (even though AF hadn't returned yet but I was double desperate desperate back then).

Mary - yay, you'll still be POAS with me then Wink Sounds like lots of leg dangling will be going on this weekend then!

Ispy - I so get that "what's the point"! I now even feel that way the week after AF. Are you using the IC OPks?, I can't remember!

Sorry to hear other are suffering with teeth. My DS is suffering too so I've just given him some nurofen. His bottom canine popped up in the night and the swelling looks sore. Hopefully he will wake up in a better mood.

Yay for pear and your dh too for soldiering on! Damn typos

MarysPrayer · 06/03/2015 13:27

Afternoon everyone Smile

Yay for the dreamfeed Giddy, we used to swear by it. In fact it was often dd's best feed as she was so calm!

Yay for pear and your too for dh for soldiering on Grin. CD13 here too and I think it's ov time about now, so we'll remain cycle buddies I think Smile

Teething is awful duchess. Are they her molars? They seem to take forever to come through. DD has four but still has the last four to come.
