Mumo, I'm scarily like Mary's, 37, ttc #2, cycle 2, ds is 17 months and still feeding before bed and through the night. I've no idea when I ovulated as CBFM didn't give me a peak but did eod for about a week. Must have fallen lucky.

And fingers crossed for a Christmas baby now you've decided to try next month! X

Sorry if this is tmi but I am after some reassurance about my af please! (Graphic post coming up... Look away now if you are feeling queasy!) So it arrived on cd24 & the first day it was just dark brown & hardly there at all. Then yesterday (cd2) it was red & much heavier like a normal period. Then today (cd3) it has been v light & now it seems to be tailing off altogether. I'm used to af lasting 4-5 days but I guess this is just my body getting back into the swing of having af again. Does this sound normal to you ladies? I guess it was just shorter than usual (my first af in Feb was 5 days).

Pear if I conceived this month the edd would be 23 December!!! Dd was about 10 days late tho so i would hope this one would be too!

Mumo this article tells you when to start using opks, depending on your cycle length. They don't confirm that you are ovulating though, they just detect the LH surge that you get prior to ovulation.

Eek Mary that really is so exciting! What's your edd? Do you plan to continue bf-ing dc1?

I think I need to get hold of some opk - want to check if/when I'm ovulating. Can someone please tell me when I need to start using them in my cycle? Going to buy a bunch of cheapy ones on amazon.

Giddy I will let the March bus know soon too. I feel bad though because there are some lovely people on there who have been ttc #1 for so long now.

My stats: 37 ttc#2 cycle 3. Dd is 2yrs 4 months and feeds 1st thing, prenap and bedtime. AF returned around 8 months pp, when she was consistently sttn. Af is regular so I presumed I was ovulating ok, although ic opks were never quite positive (I do drink a lot though!).

Dtd the day before my positive opk, then missed a day, then dtd again on the second day of positive opk. (It was negative the day after this.)

Ok so I've been thinking about it & we've decided to carry on ttc this month rather than have a month off! I wouldn't mind having a Xmas baby ... All these bfps have inspired me to keep going

I caved and tested a day before AF is due. Got a line!!! Faint but definitely there. I can't quite believe it as I have all the usual symptoms that AF is on her way. Please, please let it stick.

Thanks eggs but it's much heavier now so definitely af Oh well, this is only my 2nd af since they came back so I guess it might take a bit longer for my body to get back to normal.

On the plus side I was able to go out for dinner with a couple of friends & enjoy some wine

Thanks eggs. Maybe I should start again? I've been lax this cycle as it made no difference to the lp of the cycle I took it for, so sort of stopped taking it regularly this time around. Damn.
I'll start again tomorrow. No idea when I'll ovulate. Did you continue taking it after ovulation (presuming you can confirm it with temps etc) or did you stop? I've read conflicting accounts of what you should do?

Hi ladies sorry for the absence, been so busy with work and getting ready for an audit it's been crazy!
mumof1 are you sure you're not having implantation bleeding? I had similar with both dds and fobbed off as light period then got a bfp a week later!
austral B6 took a couple of months to help my LP last time so don't be disheartened.
CD10 here, don't ovulate until CD 21 though so still waiting for DTD in earnest to start! LPlast cycle was about 9or10 days, which is as long as it's ever been though, so hoping things are working OK in there!
