Thanks hide, fingers crossed for lots more on this bus.

Mumo, I'm scarily like Mary's, 37, ttc #2, cycle 2, ds is 17 months and still feeding before bed and through the night. I've no idea when I ovulated as CBFM didn't give me a peak but did eod for about a week. Must have fallen lucky.

And fingers crossed for a Christmas baby now you've decided to try next month! X

Mumof1sofar · 20/03/2015 15:39

Thanks pear Smile

Sorry if this is tmi but I am after some reassurance about my af please! (Graphic post coming up... Look away now if you are feeling queasy!) So it arrived on cd24 & the first day it was just dark brown & hardly there at all. Then yesterday (cd2) it was red & much heavier like a normal period. Then today (cd3) it has been v light & now it seems to be tailing off altogether. I'm used to af lasting 4-5 days but I guess this is just my body getting back into the swing of having af again. Does this sound normal to you ladies? I guess it was just shorter than usual (my first af in Feb was 5 days).

peardrop2 · 20/03/2015 15:01

Thanks Mary. Can't hide the fact that I'm Envy it's not me who's pregnant but hey at least I'm honest Wink

Mum - that's exciting that you will be testing for Ov soon. They normally say begin about cd8. Cd8-10 is when the CBFM starts asking for sticks. I guess the average women ov around cd14 so that's what they go on.

Mumof1sofar · 20/03/2015 14:54

I am cd3

Mumof1sofar · 20/03/2015 14:53

Thanks Mary, that's really helpful.

Pear if I conceived this month the edd would be 23 December!!! Dd was about 10 days late tho so i would hope this one would be too!Wink

MarysPrayer · 20/03/2015 14:39

Wow, no idea where that link came from. Here's the proper one!

MarysPrayer · 20/03/2015 14:37

Thanks pear. I'm so sorry that you've had a really tough month.

Mumo this article tells you when to start using opks, depending on your cycle length. They don't confirm that you are ovulating though, they just detect the LH surge that you get prior to ovulation.

peardrop2 · 20/03/2015 14:29

Congratulations Mary Thanks

Mum - what cd are you? I would have a dec 13th baby if this egg fertilises.

Mumof1sofar · 20/03/2015 13:57

Eek Mary that really is so exciting! What's your edd? Do you plan to continue bf-ing dc1?

I think I need to get hold of some opk - want to check if/when I'm ovulating. Can someone please tell me when I need to start using them in my cycle? Going to buy a bunch of cheapy ones on amazon.

MarysPrayer · 20/03/2015 13:54

Good on yer mumo Smile

MarysPrayer · 20/03/2015 13:52

Thanks giddy, hide and mumo. The pessimist in me has been googling 'superdrug false positive' Confused Blush

Giddy I will let the March bus know soon too. I feel bad though because there are some lovely people on there who have been ttc #1 for so long now. Sad

My stats: 37 ttc#2 cycle 3. Dd is 2yrs 4 months and feeds 1st thing, prenap and bedtime. AF returned around 8 months pp, when she was consistently sttn. Af is regular so I presumed I was ovulating ok, although ic opks were never quite positive (I do drink a lot though!).

Dtd the day before my positive opk, then missed a day, then dtd again on the second day of positive opk. (It was negative the day after this.)

Mumof1sofar · 20/03/2015 13:42

Ok so I've been thinking about it & we've decided to carry on ttc this month rather than have a month off! I wouldn't mind having a Xmas baby ... All these bfps have inspired me to keep going Smile

Mumof1sofar · 20/03/2015 13:40

Yay pear for the peak Smile

Mumof1sofar · 20/03/2015 13:40

Wow Mary, that is fantastic news! Congratulations Smile

Giddy & Mary please can you tell us your stats? This seems like a lucky bus Smile

hideandsqueak · 20/03/2015 12:11

Congrats giddy and Mary! Yay for all these BFP's! Grin

Giddymamma · 20/03/2015 12:08

Yay for egg pear!

Amazing news Mary's! Congratulations! Now go tell other bus, you'll be the third today, they'll go mad with excitement! Xxx

MarysPrayer · 20/03/2015 11:55

I caved and tested a day before AF is due. Got a line!!! Faint but definitely there. I can't quite believe it as I have all the usual symptoms that AF is on her way. Please, please let it stick.

peardrop2 · 20/03/2015 07:38

Last night was the first time in two weeks that DS slept from 7-6:30am. The none broken sleep must have something to do with me ovulating or the fact that I had given up Hmm

Hi everyone, sorry I've been quiet. I've been in a sad hole lol Guess what? CD27 and I've peaked lol 6 days until AF arrives so the chances of implantation are zero. Plus I gave up DTD so I haven't done anything since Sunday night. The irony! I had a huge glass of wine on date night last night. Obviously relaxing and forgetting about it all has helped release an egg! I can't believe last week I was so on top of things....it's just soooo unfair lol I really wanted to avoid only DtD on peak day so I could up my chances of having a girl. Oh well, no point dwelling. I thought it was really odd that my downstairs department was doing things!say that I lease the egg today. Is there any chance Sunday's speerkcould have lived?

Congratulations Gisdy! Hope it's a sticky one for you Smile

Mumof1sofar · 20/03/2015 05:16

Thanks eggs but it's much heavier now so definitely af Confused Oh well, this is only my 2nd af since they came back so I guess it might take a bit longer for my body to get back to normal.

On the plus side I was able to go out for dinner with a couple of friends & enjoy some wine WineWine

Hope everyone's ok... who's testing next??

auroraboringalis · 19/03/2015 18:58

Thanks eggs. Maybe I should start again? I've been lax this cycle as it made no difference to the lp of the cycle I took it for, so sort of stopped taking it regularly this time around. Hmm Damn.
I'll start again tomorrow. No idea when I'll ovulate. Did you continue taking it after ovulation (presuming you can confirm it with temps etc) or did you stop? I've read conflicting accounts of what you should do?
Cheers giddy. What do they know anyway. Met a woman this week who fell pregnant again when her dc was four months and she was bfing full time. Feck.
Sounds like it drof Confused

Giddymamma · 19/03/2015 18:55

Thanks duchess. Lots of luck to you. X

eggsnbeans · 19/03/2015 18:50

Hi ladies sorry for the absence, been so busy with work and getting ready for an audit it's been crazy!
mumof1 are you sure you're not having implantation bleeding? I had similar with both dds and fobbed off as light period then got a bfp a week later!
austral B6 took a couple of months to help my LP last time so don't be disheartened.
CD10 here, don't ovulate until CD 21 though so still waiting for DTD in earnest to start! LPlast cycle was about 9or10 days, which is as long as it's ever been though, so hoping things are working OK in there!
