mumo my period usual stops for 24hrs around day 3 or 4 and then comes back again. Weirdly, in January, it did this twice and was here for 9 days

Hopefully she'll go soon and leave you alone for a few years

So after af stopping completely yesterday afternoon, this morning it has decided to come back! Grr so annoying!

How's everyone else doing?

Joining you lovely ladies for a bit of lurking before I get stuck in TTC. DD1 is 5mths and took over a year to conceive. Turning 39 next month and would really like a DC2. Planning to start TTC when I go back to work in July but no AF yet so not cycling! What are you doing to prepare for TTC #2?
I have commited to losing some weight (back at pre pregnancy wgt) but there is plenty left to do! Starting a guided exercise and nutritional programme next month!

I've already mentioned to her that "big girls don't need boo-boo", which she happily repeats back to me. While feeding!

Glad to hear you're doing well hide. I'll continue to feed for now, but it wouldn't be so bad if dd weaned. She'll be 2 1/2 in May (so much for an original bf goal of 6 weeks hey?!). I don't fancy tandem feeding but I would like dd to have weaned well in advance, in order to avoid any jealousy, if that makes sense? What are your long term plans?

It feels wrong talking about my plans because I don't feel pregnant. It's a gut feeling but I just can't shake it. Whatever happens I'll know for sure pretty soon!

Mary are you planning on continuing BF? I am fine thanks. 10+2 here and just waiting for my dating scan that isn't for another THREE weeks argh! Won't feel real until then.
The sore nipples and nausea on letdown I had has abated and am back to breastfeeding without discomfort if that encourages anyone!

Thanks aurora and duchess. I'm still not 100% convinced as I am still feeling crampy, just as I do when AF is imminent (due tomorrow). It wasn't like this with dd. I'll be so sad if AF arrives.

mumo it's such an emotionlal rollercoaster isn't it? Giddy's words are wise ones. Hopefully you'll get your bfp v soon.

Thank you giddy - really good advice Will get on with ordering the opks. In all honesty I think it is my body coming out of hibernation & re-establishing af.

Argh my love, i don't know! In these situations I ask myself what purdey would say.....! It is so hard when we want the bfps so very much to stay calm.... If we assume that it was af and it was weird because your hormones are coming back out of hibernation then the worst case scenario is that you are not bfp just yet but looking good for a shot of trying this month. Which is not a terrible worst case scenario? Then try to concentrate on getting yourself in the best position for a bfp next month but if owt weird starts occurring poas in a few days? Get those opks ready and that might bring on law of sod. I can't recommend any though as use CBFM. Someone else will know. :) xxx

Pre baby it was about 28-30 days. No not poas. I just think it was odd that it was so short - 2 1/2 days in total. But the 2nd day was just like normal af & I've heard that ib is usually just spottingz..? No experience of it. I do think I'm probably just being (embarrassingly) hopeful!

Sorry mum wasn't ignoring you, just not an expert! So if it wasn't af you'd be on cd27.... And you don't have any post baby cycle lengths to compare to... What was pre baby cycle length? Have you poas? X

Re my earlier post about my af - I know I am desperately clutching at straws here but does anyone think that sounds like it could have been an implantation bleed? The rational part of me is thinking probably not but there is a bit of me hoping it was! I think I just need a slap!!!

Aw Mary's , tell them or I will :). I know where you're coming from, it's a fab bus and people are having a hard time, but I love hearing about bfps and a second hat trick will surely be some kind of record? Bound to cheer people up? X
