Good luck pear Smile

I bumped into a lady who is pregnant with her 3rd. Not fair Hmm It's all because she didn't bf Confused She will have 3 kids under 3.5 years old. That actually does sounds quite manic. No wonder she's gone back to work!!

Back to dangling legs in air. That's 3x in 3 days and now my mission is over. TG! So relieved!! Tomorrow my monitor will return to low. This week will be interesting. If AF arrives on Thursday that will be really odd.

Good to know eggs! I wI'll follow suit then. ruth yes completely. 4 and 5 day luteal phases for me after af returned too. They haven't increased yet so am also just hoping they will! See my exchange with eggs re b6.

MarysPrayer · 22/03/2015 14:38

Thanks for your messages Rosie, Ruth and Eggs Smile

I bought some bog standard/non early, Boots own brand tests today and got a nice line so it's finally sunk in. The cramps have gone too so I can't sense AF looming either.

eggs I'm glad I'm not the only one who chose not to tell dh straight away. I feel slightly guilty but it's my secret atm. Plus, dd's sleep has been pretty bad for the last few months weeks, but seems to be improving now, so I may wait a few days until the going's good.

I'm gonna stick around on here if you don't mind though? x

Mumof1sofar · 22/03/2015 10:26

Hi eggs, it ended up going on for nearly 4 days but only one was a day of 'proper' af & the others were just spotting on & off. I poas on fri & bfn so I think it's just my body getting back into the swing of things. Did you say you had an implantation bleed with your first dc? What was it like (just out of interest)?

Ruth - I had a 24 day cycle last time so think my luteal phase was only about 10 days. I'm also hoping it will lengthen next cycle. I'm still bf-ing a lot though that I'm not holding out too much hope!

Love all these sweet bf-ing stories. My dd is 10 mo but she will ask for milk by hitting me on the shoulder & pulling at my top! Grin

eggsnbeans · 22/03/2015 07:11

OMG Ispy that is just the cutest thing ever!

Congrats Mary Grin have you told DH yet? I must admit I have held off telling DH for over a week both times just in case!

austral yes I take b6 for the whole cycle Smile I know last time it took a couple of cycles to work, and I ended up taking 100mg the cycle I got my BFP, but this time just doing 50mg again this cycle as LP was good last time. And IKWYM about breasts no longer being bigger than babies head too (although I guess their heads are also a lot bigger now... that could be a good excuse totally in denial my boobs are going to be touching my knees soon )

Mumo did AF turn into anything more? I know my first AF 2 months ago was quite like what you described, but last one was much longer and heavier. I think it's quite common for AF to be quite variable while you are BF, esp for the first few months anyway. Did you POAS?

I'm still in limbo waiting for shag week to start.... I think I've got about 10 days to go to ovulation but will probably start DTD every other day a week before. I wish we could do SMEP, but we are just too old now, every other day is about the max DH can handle Wink

ispyfispi · 22/03/2015 06:45

I know right?! We know what he's dreaming about!
Yay Ruth, one step closer. I've been willing AF to return for so long I think I might just go into shock if when she ever finally shows!
And sorry, hi to the new guys, am just catching up!

peardrop2 · 21/03/2015 22:18

Ispy - that is just the cutest thing!

Ruth - sadly I have no answer for you because I have OV so late this cycle that technically my LP will only be 3 days if AF shows up! Shock I thought when I dropped the late fees last month it would help matters as previous cycles my LP has been 9/10 days. I think my body takes FOREVER to settle!

Giddymamma · 21/03/2015 22:11

Sorry Ruth, not ignoring you, just don't have an answer. Hope someone can help you. X

Giddymamma · 21/03/2015 22:08

Thank you Ruth and Rosie. :) xxxx

Ispy, your little boy signs for milk in his sleep?! Argh, my heart just popped! That is the cutest thing I've ever heard!!

Yep, I think breastfeeding my children is the thing I'm most proud of in my life. When my little guy signs 'milk' in his sleep my heart just about explodes!

RosieRue52 · 21/03/2015 21:16

Congrats Giddy & Mary how exciting!!

Welcome Kitty Smile

I hope everyone else is hanging in there & having a nice weekend!!

peardrop2 · 21/03/2015 21:10

No ispy Smile you're not alone in that department! Whenever I ask myself why I've waited so long to wean the flash backs of all the comforting I've done and DS enjoyment of it all reminds me why I'm where I am Smile I think if all the babies could talk they would insist that we carried on regardless Grin

Aw such sweet posts! I'm not the only one completely besotted with my little one then?! ??

auroraboringalis · 21/03/2015 16:17

Dc is blissfully asleep locked onto my nipple. i remember how my breasts were bigger than dc's head when born, now they are sooo-oooo very much smaller! :)

Aurora - it is super cute that they know we can fix things and make them feel better Smile We're good mummies...if not TTC frustrated ones Wink

Oh aurora! I'm so sorry I didn't realise you had stopped Blush OR I had forgotten! I so don't blame you though. When DS was sick last week he was sobbing and pointing at 2am and I caved in too! He's hasn't had an early feed like that in months! It's so easily done! What else are we meant to say when they're sick!

auroraboringalis · 21/03/2015 15:35

pear I actually stopped a fortnight ago. Yessiree. I cried and hugged and dh went to get me ice cream and I apologised to dc and dh and the whole world and I felt I would be lost and then I had more ice cream. But it was done.

Then dc had a fever and was so sad and so cute with the pointy pointy to my breasts and the tears and then I didn't stop anymore.

HmmBlushSad

peardrop2 · 21/03/2015 15:19

Mumofone - sorry Hmm I hope you will be drinking wine with your meal tonight?! Wine

Aurora - ever get the feeling that you'll have to stop? I do Sad I definitely feel like my journey is coming to an end now.

Hah hah I've been decluttering and organising the toy room too...where's my BFP?
