Just wondering what your very first indications were? It's way too early for me to test but I've got tender boobs which is not typical for me during my cycle and period type cramps, and again not typical for me.

I am probably clutching at a million straws but am interested in your experiences.

I remained completey infertile whilst breastfeeding. Its been so long I've forgotten what it feels like to be on my period!
I just got some cheap ultra sensitive Internet tests today, so i am going to try my best to wait until Thursday at the earliest to do one.
So hard not to turn into a POAS addict, and mad symptom spotter when TTC! The men hAve it so easy in so many ways. X

LastOneDancing · 02/03/2015 21:11

Oooh mumtoason exciting! I'm still feeding my 11mo but AF came back a couple of months ago.

LastOneDancing · 02/03/2015 21:07

Oh I'm glad you're ok theend

Hi Malibu - you're very sensible! First time I tested way too early and spent the next week or so paranoid that I'd get AF as usual. I'm determined to wait this time, although never say never...

mumtoason87 · 02/03/2015 21:04

Hey ladies, I've just started trying to conceive my 2nd. I'm pretty sure I ovulated last Tuesday and did the deed on Monday so and crossing my fingers that I've caught the first egg since I stopped breastfeeding my 18 month old two months ago. I may have spotted some implantation blood today wihich could be a very early symptom, I had it last time. I'm waiting to see if i get tingly nipples as that was my first early symptom last time. Fingers crossed! X

theendoftheendoftheend · 02/03/2015 20:36

Hi last I'm fine i chickened out of buying a test today. I thought I'd wait a couple more days. I don't know why! I just didn't want to face it today. Thankyou for thinking of me Flowers

LastOneDancing · 02/03/2015 20:14

I'm a bit worried about theendoftheendoftheend Sad

0ddsocks · 02/03/2015 17:59

My first sign has always been my hair not falling out when I brush it, that has happened as early as 11 or 12 dpo

Nessie100 · 02/03/2015 17:10

I think this could be a long running thread with a few of us popping in every month to symptom spot - and then either happy or sad at the outcome.

Hopefully more happy ones than sad Smile

MalibuDaisy · 02/03/2015 11:50

This is my first month of TTC - I can't take a test until the weekend at the earliest (though I'm determined to wait until next Weds when AF is technically late, as I don't want to go through a load of BFNs and still wonder "What if?") I've had one sore nipple on and off (not normal for me, although I run a lot and my sports bras are ancient so that could be it!) and a constant bad tum (again not unheard of, although it doesn't tend to stick around like this). Plus I've been very tired and quite moody. I know I'm just symptom-spotting and that all of this is probably coincidence - but coincidence doesn't mean that I'm NOT pregnant, right? Wink I've been looking on this thread obsessively every day for signs that I might get a BFP so it seemed like it was time to say hello :) I hope everyone gets the result they are looking for x x x

LastOneDancing · 02/03/2015 10:54

Sounds like it would be ok to test - most people ovulate 12-14 days after the start of their period so that takes you to about 15th Feb. You can get a positive from about 12 days after that so 27th? It's Obv after that so you have a good chance of getting an accurate result. (Obv the maths here are all wishy washy)

Good luck chuck. We are here if you want to let us know how it goes x

theendoftheendoftheend · 02/03/2015 08:20

Thankyou last that has made me better. I think my last period was the end of Jan, I'm not sure how long my cycle is but I think it's a longer one (only started having them again in November)
Nessie the baby itself wouldn't be a problem, difficult but not insurmountable, but the situation would be a nightmare.
I think I might test today. The chemist said to test at 24 days....?

Roxybaby12 · 02/03/2015 08:19

Don't panic theendof.. Don't forget af symtoms are so similar to pregnancy and there is a possibility your body is just a little confused after the hormones in the morning after pill.. Def do a test anyway.. Do you have any idea when your af was due? Smile

LastOneDancing · 01/03/2015 22:43

attheend - please don't panic. They did an experiment where they asked a load of people (including men) to note down any nausea/ tiredness etc and every one of them reported pregnancy symptoms! They were just hyper alert to it.

Do you know roughly when you'd have ovulated and does this tie in with DTD? when can you test?

Nessie100 · 01/03/2015 22:30

Will it be a bad thing if you are theendof?

theendoftheendoftheend · 01/03/2015 21:40

Can I join? Although my situation is somewhat different to alot of yours. Not in a relationship and certainly not trying for a baby. Foolishly been sleeping with ex this month, no coil as had it removed when apart due to side effects and general nun type behaviour. Soo 2 morning after pills (I knowBlush) and condoms, I feel horribly tired, my boobs hurt, period type pains but no period. But I'm not sure when it's due anyway! And every now and then I've gone to have something to eat or drink and thought ahh yuck I can't stomach that and no idea why!! I'm really panicking. Going to go and get a test tomorrow, but what if it's too early? Sorry, I read this thread to reassure myself and it's made me panic so now I'm rambling!

Nessie100 · 01/03/2015 20:57

Don't say that Mrs, hope for the best Smile xx

mrscatmad31 · 01/03/2015 20:24

Nessie100 · 01/03/2015 20:23

Xxx

Paperblank · 01/03/2015 20:03

Still a few to hear so Smile

HopeFull28 · 01/03/2015 18:45

Thanks all Smile exciting Blush

Roxybaby12 · 01/03/2015 17:01

Thanks lastonedancing, I estimate I'm about 15dpo so will try a final FR with FMU tomorrow.. If bfn then I assume it's too late and my cycle was just a little loopy this month. I'm not actively ttc anyway but would have been over the moon to have a sibling for my dd.
FX for you too, keep updating us. X

SaladBeach · 01/03/2015 16:56

LastOneDancing -I'm also 6 dpo and symptom spotting! I swore I wouldn't this time as the first month of ttc I had all the symptoms and still got BFN!

I'm actually looking forward to work this week to take my mind of it.

Annaleigh2015 · 01/03/2015 15:45
