Just wondering what your very first indications were? It's way too early for me to test but I've got tender boobs which is not typical for me during my cycle and period type cramps, and again not typical for me.

I am probably clutching at a million straws but am interested in your experiences.

You never know Oysterbabe, you could have a passenger Smile

Oysterbabe · 22/02/2015 12:42

Add excessive salivation to my list of symptoms.

I think it's good for me to keep track so that when my period starts next Saturday I'll know for sure that I've lost the plot and when I have another 2ww 2 weeks after that I can remind myself about them and not get my hopes up.

I keep telling myself it's for the best if I'm not upduffed anyway. My wedding is in 2 months then off to Barbados on honeymoon. I'd obviously love to do it all with a teeny passenger but will enjoy the champagne and cocktails if not.

Nessie100 · 22/02/2015 12:35

My heart tells me I am. My head telling me its not a viable one due to pain low down.

Hopefully you get good news tomorrow Smile

momwhereismy · 22/02/2015 12:33

Are the faint lines coming up immediately or after awhile? Sorry to put a dampner on things!

Porchrules · 22/02/2015 12:17

Thanks Nessie. It's good to have another set of eyes and ears! Are you in the 2ww still?

Nessie100 · 22/02/2015 11:59

I would go if it was me. Do test in the morning maybe & keep enough of the urine to bring as a sample for doc to do their own test with their own kit.

If for no other reason than to get yourself started in the process & get advice Smile.

Woo-hoo for you Smile Smile Smile.

Porchrules · 22/02/2015 11:42

It's me again! I was wisely advised by a few lovely people to retest the next morning after a very very faint positive on an ic. I have done and thought I could share the progression. Looking good so far as it's getting darker and still only 12dpo so fx it will stick and show even better. Is it too soon to go to the docs tomorrow at 13dpo if there's still a line in the morning? I've got a day off work so seems convenient but don't want to look daft (or tempt fate Blush when technically I'm not late for af yet??

Very early signs you might be pregnant.
CakeInMyFace · 21/02/2015 19:26

For me I woke up and noticed a metallic taste in my mouth, was very distinctive and didn't go away. Had a gut feeling and did a test, was 3 to 4 days before af was due and I'm now 10 weeks. Proper sore boobs and nausea didnt turn up until 5-6 weeks. But this is my second.

momwhereismy · 21/02/2015 19:17

I can feel AF coming! I can feel it brewing. Still have 4 days left damn! Must have been virus!

Nessie100 · 21/02/2015 10:08

Don't know how I feel about the fact I feel so much better this morning. I was hoping it was a sign when I felt rubbish but now I'm douubting Sad. And sad bout fact I feel better.

Hope someone gets a bit of good news soon.

mrsfazruns · 21/02/2015 07:57

On my tww ..... Metallic taste in mouth, cramps/heaviness, tiredness since yesterday(needed 3 hour nap and still slept all night) and itchy left nipple!!! Can't wait to test! X

That's it, I need a nap. I just can't function today.

WrappedInABlankie · 20/02/2015 11:44

I had puffy nipples Grin

Porchrules · 20/02/2015 11:25

Oh I'm so glad to hear you're having a lot of fun Wink It's really the best way for all good things in life to happen and you just never know. Twenty minutes cruising round here makes me think anything is possible as what happens to these women is truly amazing!

Nessie100 · 20/02/2015 10:43

By the way, reason we arent ttc is cos told really no point due to fact we prob would never get pregnant again.

So we've been having fun (which when I hear so many sad stories makes me glad we were told outright it was unlikely ever again).

Nessie100 · 20/02/2015 10:38

Oh Porchrules, you are making me so excited..... For you!!! I have friends trying for so long with no joy that I always get so excited if I hear a success story Smile. I so so hope you get a positive!!!

We arent actively trying (not trying to prevent either Wink ) so I will just have to wait. Im waiting for my blank refusal of a cup of coffee as my sign either way. I had been testing for 4 days when I got up one morning & just couldnt drink it once I made it. Managed to drink it an hour later though. But was 27 hours later before I got that magic line.

Porchrules · 20/02/2015 10:22

Oh mom, I wish I had your self control! I started using opks on my third month as my cycles were so wonky and useless (ranging from 32 - 54 days!!) so in six calendar months I only had four periods and was getting really stressed. The clearblue ones (digis) were total crap and giving me smileys and flasheys all over the bloody shop. This month was the first month of being very disciplined about using the ic opks every day (they are so much better), so I could try and spot ovulation (which I did, on day 28) and I also did temp charting to confirm ovulation (saw a significant rise 5 days later). All very reassuring. This place is amazing though - a very necessary outlet for anxious (and neurotic) souls!

Nessie100 · 20/02/2015 10:20

I'm here trying to convince myself I'm only imagining it, as I'm trying at the same time to force myself to face into putting some food in my stomach Wink.

Only trying to convince myself I'm not so I dont drive myself mental waiting. Def not cos I dont want to be. Had been told very unlikely I'd ever have 1 (due to childhood accident), the hope that there could be another miracle is driving me nuts with so long to wait before I'll know for sure.

Why oh why do we have to wait to know!!!!

MsRabbit · 20/02/2015 10:15

Emotional volatility was the first sign for me. Got into an altercation with a ticket inspector on the train at Waterloo and ended up sobbing uncontrollably in front of everyone - massive, dramatic over reaction. Found out two days later I was preg.

momwhereismy · 20/02/2015 10:09

Do come back and tell us porch rules. I'm trying on and off for nearly 18 months, some months I couldn't due to working way!
I think there is so many option out there for us now, checking temps, charts, ovulation sticks etc. I haven't succumbed to this...yet! But glad I can come on here and let the crazy out that I wouldn't in RL
Congrats MsAR great news, happy planning :)

LastOneDancing · 20/02/2015 10:05

So lovely to have some BFPs! Congratulations!!

Sorry Nessie 2ww = two week wait. The no man's land between could be pregnant and BFP

MN is the place to share this kind of stuff, positive or negative there's always a thread that fits - someone to cheer you on, buck you up or sympathise with Smile

JontyDoggle37 · 20/02/2015 10:05

We were on honeymoon, 4 days in, 4 days after starting to try for a baby for first time, when my ears blocked up solid, I started peeing every half an hour for the remainder of the honeymoon, I got a weird rash on my legs and got a sudden bout of diarrhoea. At the time, I'd didn't realise any of these could be early symptoms and carried on as usual through honeymoon, it was only when we'd been back two days and I suddenly felt dreadfully sick that it occurred I could be already. I couldn't actually believe it could have happened so quick, so dashed to tesco and got a test and did without DH because I didn't want to get his hopes up. That was at 9.30am...then I had to wait all bloody day til he got home from work to tell him! ????

Nessie100 · 20/02/2015 09:58

Hope the rest of the pregnancy is as symptom free MsAR Smile

Porchrules · 20/02/2015 09:56

Ah congrats MsAR! It's the weirdest thing how the whole process can play such mind games with us! Smile
