Thanks chops. 7 dpo now. Sore boobs on and off and nauseous feelings last evening and this evening. Hoping and praying this will be our month.

EllaBella1 · 26/05/2015 18:30

Hi ladies so hubs phoned gp about the second SA- gp said his SA results aren't in yet but the reason for the second SA referral is because our NHS region won't let them refer is until he has a second SA done even if his first SA is brilliant. So I'm sort of in limbo..... Do I go back to gp to discuss my satusfactory bloods and request a referral re scan or do I sit it out with hubs and then once all SA done we go back to GP together.... Mmmm! This ttc lark is confusing!

chopsface · 26/05/2015 18:27

Ooo where did you go lil? Me and dh are thinking of booking a weekend away somewhere soon to spend some quality couple time :-)

Welcome newbies :-) good luck in the 2ww lovely and Rachel

lildottie · 25/05/2015 23:32

hi all. just back from a weekend away.

mama I'm glad you have a plan you are both happy with. I know you will probably disappear off here a bit to keep your mind off things but remember we are here if/when you need us.

Lauraqc · 25/05/2015 22:48

Hi everyone hope you've all had a lovely bank hol?

Mama I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your words last week. I had my day of sitting on the sofa crying and then I read what you'd written, agreed with you wholeheartedly and I felt pretty ok again Tuesday and onwards. A bit of a miracle but I'm eternally grateful to you! Thank you everyone else for your encouragement it's so good to not feel completely alone!

Mama that must feel really good to take the pressure off for a while, and of course you'll want to enjoy your holiday! Are you going anywhere nice?

Hello to all the newer ladies on here too - you'll have worked out already that it's a friendly bunch on here :)

It's my final week at my workplace this week before I start my new job on Monday! Very scary after 11 years but looking forward to a new start :)

Rachelc82 · 25/05/2015 16:17

Hay ladies. So I'm 5/6 dpo today. The sides of my breasts started hurting when woke this morning especially if lying on them. Anyone else felt this during tww? I'm also feeling very tired but Iv been working night shifts this month so probably due to that. I usually get tender breasts just before af but to soon for that. Trying not to symptom stop but when something new happens can't help it lol.

Lovelyjubbly95 · 25/05/2015 10:25

Hi can I join? Me n partner have been ttc for nearly 2yrs, fell in Jan but mc at 6wks but we started ttc again straight away. Using my fertility monitor and fertility friend and finally got my peak this mth and am 2dpo :) now have a 9 day wait....

victoria401 · 25/05/2015 09:05

That sounds like a great plan mama we had 3 months off and it was bliss. So relaxed and had no idea where I was in my cycle and af was a surprise :-) Best to wait until after your holiday too. I recently went abroad at 7 weeks preg and I was worried all the time about something going wrong and being away from the nhs! Have a lovely break and a lovely holiday :-) x

Hope you're ok everyone x

Thanks Vic. We have decided to take a break from ttc for a couple of months until after our holiday in August. The pressure of it is just too much now and I need a break from counting days and wishing my life away. I just want to live and have fun for a while as that will be the best thing to help me move on from what has happened. DH and I discussed this today and I now feel a huge relief not to have to think about it at all for a couple of months.

I will still check in on you ladies and hopefully to find some good news from you when I do. Good luck! X

victoria401 · 24/05/2015 08:48

Oh mama big hugs. I can't imagine how you feel but I know it can't be nice. I hope the sadness moves off soon and you can press forward.

Ella if the GP wants to speak to your dh about the sa then the results are probably low in at least one area. But it might be a blip and the next ones might be fine. Sperm renews every 3 months approx, hence the time between tests. They could be low because of an illness or even a weekend of booze that happened 3 months previous! My dh suffered from low morphology but over the course of a year, with diet and vitamins, we got it into normal ranges and I got my bfp after 2.5 years ttc. lil recommended he take 1000mg Vit C daily as well as his Wellman vits. He started taking it and bam! 3 months later we got preg. I'm not saying it's a miracle cure for everyone but I think it must have helped in our particular case. But yea, don't panic until you get the full picture of what's going on. And a lot of things can be fixed with both of you x

Thank you Lil, hormones really f#*k you up don't they! I am a mess! Things can only get better!

lildottie · 22/05/2015 23:47

Thanks mamma I know first hand that nothing I can say can ease your pain, so just know I'm thinking of you and you are not alone x

Mamama31 · 22/05/2015 23:44

*relieved not received!

Mamama31 · 22/05/2015 23:43

I thought I'd be received to have af finally....strangely I now feel the opposite...bloody hormones!!!!

Mamama31 · 22/05/2015 23:41

Ella wait and see what the GP says before you panic as it may just ne numbers down in one or some places but maybe start him on wellmans conception vits and 1000mg vit c if he hasn't already started vits as these both improve sperm and best to start now regardless of the results.

Ladies my first af has arrives after my mmc, feeling absolutely grim...was doing so well and being positive but it's like I'm reliving the feelings I had after my mmc....please let it ease off soon! I know it's hormones but it is so unbearable and disappointing when I felt I had come a long way from how I had been feeling :(

lildottie · 22/05/2015 21:42

Ella my dh had bad sa and receptionist called us to arrange for a Dr to call him. fx its not too bad a result but as they are booking 2nd sample I'd prepare for bad news hunny. sorry Thanks

EllaBella1 · 22/05/2015 17:32

Ladies I need some help. We have been ttc dec 2013. I went to the gp in March as I keep spotting from 9dpo and no bfp. I got 21 day bloods and told results satisfactory by receptionist. Told to see gp once hubs SA results were back and I would get full breakdown. Hubs had his SA on May 14. He got a call today from the receptionist to say he has to do another sample on August 6th. He asked for the results and was told gp never told her she could tell him so she's asked the GP. What in the world is going on here? We are at the same practice. In the meantime I'm blinking spotting/bleeding 10 days of the fecking month with no bfp in sight :(

MyBlackCat · 21/05/2015 15:54

Really impressed with my doctors - got a letter through with my scan appointment for 3 weeks time, will have my first blood test in two weeks, hopefully we can invoke the law of sod and not need them Smile

Rachelc82 · 21/05/2015 12:16

Hello can I join. I'm 33 ttc #1 cycle 10 2dpo. My dp had sa last week. I had 21 day bloods got results yesterday, Dr said my progesterone was slightly low, he said test may have been wrong day or I'm not oving every month. He said when he gets dp's sa results he will then refer us to fertility clinic. It's getting me down bfn every month. Everywhere I look there's babies. My sister has 5 children and I can't even have 1 Sad

lildottie · 21/05/2015 10:24

black tell him to bloody prove it! not fair to delay things because he is a child!

MyBlackCat · 21/05/2015 07:57

lil I asked if DH needed to do anything but she said not at the moment, if she needed to refer us to fertility clinic he would have a sa then. Think she was more concerned about me after having a mc. I think DH would need to see doc himself to get a sa and can't see that happening, I'm trying to get him to take 1000mg of vit C a day but that's a bit of a struggle. He thinks he has super sperm Smile

mrschatty · 21/05/2015 07:37

laura we've all been there just need to throw a bi*ch fit have a cry throw something and eventually it starts to ease. I cried in a restaurant because DH had the audacity to briefly mention in passing that Mr and Mrs j who we are not very close to were expecting! He never did that again...x

lildottie · 20/05/2015 21:25

myblack I meant to say on other thread (think it was you) why haven't they done sa for dh? clinic usually want results to be fairly recent when you're referred and him not getting sa will only delay things, and referral if he's the issue.

MyBlackCat · 20/05/2015 11:27

Thanks for the advice last week, I went to see a really nice doctor today who is referring me for an ultrasound and also for day 3 and 21 bloods, don't know what I was worrying about, feel at least it's a step in the right direction.

Mamama31 · 19/05/2015 11:53

Had some cramps yesterday and a tiny bit of spotting! I'm actually willing af to arrive now so I can begin ttc with a fresh new cycle but it's just teasing me...no sign today! After mc it's so strange to be willing af to arrive and hoping for negative tests as soon as possible....so warped!
