Hi Hot sorry to hear that - i've been diagnosed with that too. I'm also at least 2 stone overweight and can't seem to shift it. Been to dr tonight to get some help with losing the weight. I was having cycles of around 4-6 months so I definitely relate and I remember thinking if I even at least had regular (albeit long) cycles then that would be better. Am on Metformin now and cycles seem to just be starting to get under control and I've started on soya isoflavones. DH also has an abnormally low count so we're a double whammy issue.

It's our fertility appt tomorrow with the consultant. Will ask re DH's latest test and ask for another appt in 6 months I think and hopefully have lost the weight (and got pregnant!) by then. Otherwise it's ICSI for us. Good luck with it all.

OK so had my ultra sound today and it's confirmed I have PCOS. Not surprising i Know, as my cycles have been 41-45 days and currently on my 47 day and still no signs of AF but I am still really upset by this.
Yes i know a lot of ppl have this and it's not a big fat NO you cant conceive but I still cant help but feel like shit about it.
Ive spent years thinking it's OK im still young build a solid foundation with a good career, healthy lifestyle and kids will happen easy. Well I guess today has felt like a slap in the face with reality.
Anyway Dh had his test today and ive got bloods tmr but next step ive been told will be a referral to fertility clinic.

Ok rant over just needed to let that out. Thanks

more waiting. blood hcg 6 so technically just positive (5 is neg). so I have to carry on with meds and get another blood test next week. this is shittier than shit.

Nice meal out with DH last night and flowers when I got home from work which was sweet.

Trying not to get too excited about the fact that temps have stayed high since ov 7 days ago, had constipation (tmi lol), heavy tum feeling and sore nipples this week...it's our fertility appt with the consultant on Wednesday so I'll allow myself to test before I go...!

My egg collection has been put back to Wednesday which was a bit of a bummer. But consultant thinks that's best. He also said he was hopeful of getting 8 or more eggs which I would be delighted about.

Metal - in a weird way I'm a bit jealous of your hangover. It's been ages since I had a drink and super ages since I had enough to make me hungover!

I never ever test guys. Don't own any tests. Don't plan on buying any until when and if I'm ever late. Though with this odd cycle I wouldn't know what was late!

theoretically 3 days after implantation hcg starts but clearly there are going to be story's like metals where people get it earlier and of course those who get a bfp later. I'd hold off until af is late tho tbh vic. a bfn when its too early too test is never a good idea!

With DD I got a BFP two days after I'd had an implantation bleed...

From my average cycles I wasn't due until the 18th, but that was from oving around cd16/17 and I don't think I did. Still got crampy heavy feeling but spotting stopped. Like I said its happened before like this. Day of bleeding, stopped for 2 days, full blown af follows....

Glad things progressing nicely landy (phone wants to autocorrect you to pansy!) :-)
