If only!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 15/02/2015 18:28

Hopefully it's your body making an extra super strong egg this time!

Tryingno1 · 15/02/2015 18:25

Hi snoopy. Sorry ur stil bleeding.

It's hard to make the call. I went to nhs testing after 2-kinda cried my way in! And then mr s after 3. U have to balance the stress of tests and tx with knowing that after 2 miscarriages ur risk of a third is no higher at all. Only very few sadly up with 3 in a row. And also most the time no cause is found by nhs testing. It's something u and DH need to really think about.

I'm on the green smoothies too! Well from tmrw this London trip has been a bit carb and cake heavy!

I know wot u mean about getting preg. I'm similar age to u (now 30) and I did have 3 quick pregnancies. So it is possible to keep falling preg! It's taking me longer this time, I don't know if its the stress of it all, or it's just how nature sometimes is.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 15/02/2015 18:12

The bleeding is lighter. My cervix is closed but it seems to have been the whole time (probably just the progesterone) I haven't really had any pain (had more twinges in the early weeks of mmc which I oresumed were just normal) I don't really know what to do. Obviously the gp surgery is closed.

Fuck knows what's going to happen to my cycle this time. Can't get lucky three times and get pregnant quickly can I ( if I can call this lucky).

On a positive note I'm back on my green smoothies and I bought something called bioglan supergreens to add to them, figured it won't do any harm. I think they helped me conceive quickly and zita west was banging on about eating for fertility this week.

DH has already decided we will try again but seems reluctant to discuss any further tests. I'm not really sure what I think. What made you all decide to just go for it?

Wow that's a long post. I know I don't really belong on this thread but thank you all for your support.

Tryingno1 · 15/02/2015 17:56

Hey girls!
How r u all? Hope u had a good valentines!
Got my scan and HSG tmrw I hope they go ok. I'm used to bad news these days so feeling a bit anxious.
Has a lovely day in London though and forgot about it all, eaten my weight in good though! Was nice visiting some Of the places me and DH used to hang out before all this started.
Rosa hope ur going ok with SO.
Hula sorry af came but also glad ur cycle is behaving.
Dildoos hope ur feeling like ur out of the fog and ready to decide which way to head. Are u gonna see mr s?

I'm not going to take the pred this
Month I don't think....I've always been happy to take it from bFp but weary before for some reason. I know in the ivf world the do it embryo transfer so I suppose it's similar timing to mr s plan. Oh confusion every month!

Waves to others x

dildoos · 14/02/2015 16:09

Hey sunny, hope your lookig after yourself. X

sunnyday01 · 14/02/2015 15:23

Hi everyone! Sorry I have been AWOL, work has been busy plus I'm just sitting it out waiting for AF to arrive so I can get cracking again next month (although not wanting it to happen too quickly as need to be on the hydroxy for. 6 weeks before trying!)

Rosa - I took the letrazole with my other vitamins etc in the morning with breakfast. I never suffered headaches but the first month I did get hot flushes! Re scan timing - the first few months I had scan on day 11 and was fine as didn't do injection until day 13/14, in the later months when I was responding better I had to have scan day 10 ir11 as I was injecting on day 11 typically. I found doing SO shortened my cycle ( not by lots ) and it wax always 27/8 days on SO.

Sorry to hear about your bleeding snoopy, will keep you in my thoughts. It's do hard all f this but hopefully we can provide you with some support x

Welcome seeking - I echo what the others said mr s first appt for me was £2,500 with all the blood tests also had a scan to check for PCOS. In my opinion it was well worth it as the nhs only did the basic blood clothing tests for me and told ne to go away.

Hope everyone else is ok xx

Snoopy I think Louise is usually very helpful to talk too. She can give you advice. She has called me at 9 at night before now Smile x

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 14/02/2015 11:36

Still bleeding dildoos.

It's just hard to make the decision about when you need help. Do I wait for it to happen again? I don't know

Rosa27 · 14/02/2015 10:23

Thanks Hula. I guess it's still morning might take now. Had just seen online that some take at night as can give you headaches etc. I will go with what Mr S said. Thanks again.

Hula2 · 14/02/2015 10:16

Just found a data sheet online, says can take either with or without food.

Hula2 · 14/02/2015 10:11

Hi Rosa,

Just checked the schedule dr s gave me about SO and it says take Letrozole in the morning (didn t specify about whether with food).

Re the scan prob better to have it early than assume later and miss the right timing. Also it may be different as you re medicating ?

Hula2 · 14/02/2015 10:05

Snoopy - so sorry you are having this stress. The limbo is the hardest part. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Hi everyone else.

Good luck with you re appt with dr s seeking, hope you get some answers.

I will second everything people have aaid about appreciating things once you finally have your little one. It took two long hards years to conceive my son and i believe it does make you parent differently. He s never been a great sleeper (still wakes twice a night at 3.5) but while friends said you should try sleep training/ cry it out i could never do that as felt it s a natural part of being a young child to need a parent at night. We co slept alot from when he was a baby, which i still treasure and all tho the sleep deprivation can get hard knowing the battle i had to have him (and that other people are going thru to have their LOs) helps me welcome it with open arms !

Stay strong ladies it WILL happen.

Afm - af arrived yesterday but staying positive, new cycle, new hope.

Rosa27 · 14/02/2015 09:41

X

Rosa27 · 14/02/2015 09:41

Sorry Snoppy to read about the stress and heartache you're going through.. Everything x for you today.

Hi everyone else. Dildoos I'm sure your very right about our attitudes and the depth of what we do and will value because of everything we have been and are going through. Hopefully this makes it a silver lining.

My cycle was almost a week longer than usual. No idea what was going on but CD1 was painful. Anyway CD2 and should take letrozolle and get to Boots to order ovitrelle for SO. Does anyone know if it matters when I take letrozolle - morning ? Before or after food? I'm due to see Mr S for a scan on what will now be day 11 and possibly too early for a cycle that's got so long so not sure what to do... Will see what they recommend.
Hope this weekend is a nice one for everyone and Snoopy that there's better news than you expect. Take care c

dildoos · 14/02/2015 09:10

Snoopy how is the bleeding this am?
Have you called Louise?
Hi to everyone else.
X

Seekingmiracles · 14/02/2015 08:50

Trying I'm 30. I know I will treasure every moment of motherhood. I won't moan about trivial and inconsequential things. I will love all the mess, sleepless nights, tantrums along with alle lively moments too.
Snoopy - I really hope the bleeding stops. Thinking of you today.

Tryingno1 · 13/02/2015 22:45

Snoopy keep using it. It won't do any harm and u would kick urself if everything turns out to be ok.

Ur thyroid should be well controlled , but I don't know at what level I'm sure mr s would tell u.

U could get ur Gp to do usual nhs tests-he would know most of them that need doing. 50 percent of time they are normal though.

Shift work I never know-people get preg and stay preg under the most awful stressful situations so I don't think it's linked...but I can't help but think stress might play a role. I don't think Anyone knows. When ur not at work look after urself and relax

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 13/02/2015 22:38

Should I use cyclogest this evening or is there no point, it all started too late for me to contact Louise.

I guess DH and I will have to discuss if we go for further testing. My mums pretty good at demanding things from gps so I will try that as well.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 13/02/2015 22:34

My mums lovely phlebotomist friend did the test at home this evening and dropped it off to the pathology lab at the hospital. I've been crying going to doctors, hospitals etc so this was better for me.

dildoos · 13/02/2015 22:21

Snoopy I hope that the bleeding stops, feet up oxygen to the uterus and all that ! Takin it easy at work is always a good thing I be doing.
Is your next bloods Sunday? Did they not give you your hcg levels today? X

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 13/02/2015 22:11

Trying I'm 29.

Gosh dildoos that sounds so scary, but if your body has done it once I'm sure it can do it again, it's just trying to get through all the setbacks and heartaches.

I'm bleeding now so I think this is it but I will have the second blood test in case of a miracle.

DH has already said we will try again.

I'm worried about work. My lovely gp had already signed me off until the 3rd March but my first day back is officer safety training.

Do you think that working shifts and the hypothyroidism could be having an impact?

From tomorrow I'll get back to my healthy eating. I think it helped me conceive quickly after the last mc. A green smoothie everyday!

Tryingno1 · 13/02/2015 21:08

Thanks dildoos. This whole situation has really made me think about life in a diff way. U dont know wots around the corner and things can change so quickly. I'm aware things can be so much worse too - so am grateful for a healthy and lovely DH and parents and brother. Hopefully when my time comes I'll really savour it, be grateful and a mature grounded mother. (Although I worry this whole exp is going to turn me into a anxious OTT mother who won't let her kid out of their sight!)

dildoos · 13/02/2015 21:03

Trust me trying it won't be a forgotten memory, they prepared me for 8 months that I was going to loose my little miracle and I prayed and prayed and she is almost 7 but there is never a part of me that forgets how lucky I am, I I never have another I have her to be grateful for. You all will too! You won't forget your to lovely to forget to be grateful x
