Hi seeking miracles congrats on yout bfp !

Drttc - sound like you ve had some promising signs, fingers crossed this could be your bfp.

Hey this thread is hotting up !! Keep em coming ladies xx

Seekingmiracles · 02/05/2015 17:49

Oh and yes... Got intralipids booked for 14th May (6+6) if all goes to plan

Seekingmiracles · 02/05/2015 17:40

Hi Drttc,
Thank you Smile.... Very nervous as you can imagine but hoping everything will go to plan this time and the meds do their thing.
History: MC at 5+2 Dec 14, blighted ovum June 14, CP Oct 14. NHS diagnosed the pt gene variant but I wasn't convinced that was the sole reason for the mcs, hence the visit to DrS.
Trying to catch up on the thread so excuse me while I try and figure out everyone's stories.

Drttc · 02/05/2015 13:53

Rosa everything sounds like it's right on track! You're not describing symptoms that would cause anyone to worry... We'd tell you!

Hi, Seekingmiracles! Congratulations on your BFP! What's your history, if you don't mind me asking? Will you do Intralipids as well? X

Seekingmiracles · 02/05/2015 10:39

Hi ladies,
Hope you don't mind me popping on.
I'm currently under Dr Shehata having been diagnosed with high NK cells on Monday of last week. At the first appointment (2weeks prior) he'd told me not to get pg.... But low and behold last Thursday I did a test and it was a bfp ..... Queue panic!!
At Monday's appointment I told him and we started there and then with my medications:
Clexane for PT gene variant
75mg aspirin
400mg cyclogest
25mg prednisone

Today I'm 5 weeks and worried that aside from my boobs feeling marginally tender I have no symptoms. He did say that the steroids can mask the symptoms, has anyone else found this.
I have a scan a week Monday so hopefully that'll ease my worry a bit.
Thanks in advance Smile

Rosa27 · 02/05/2015 09:10

Ps absolutely delighted got you .. You really are well into the last trimester ... So, do happy and excited for you Smile xxx

Rosa27 · 02/05/2015 09:09

Oh Hope I really really do hope you're right. I have more very very light brown tinged cm this morning. It's so worrying as this fortnight has never been good for me and that colour was a signal .. I just don't know what to do to stress less .. I get a few hours peace after a scan then for all I know it's going wrong. X

Hopender · 01/05/2015 22:45

It is so exciting Rosa! It isn't just the heartbeat but that the baby is growing well and sac and everything looks good. I know it is a long haul, but all is where it should be right now and really think this will work out for you. Remember I had no symptoms at all on the pred until about ten weeks then I had awful sickness until 20 weeks. I'm at 28 weeks now so getting closer! I have a huge bump, indigestion and insomnia! Roll on 40 weeks!

Rosa27 · 01/05/2015 18:36

Thanks Suemays. I will prob do but might wait to check with Mr S etc assuming make it to that appointment on 11th., just because I doubled my dose after seeing brown and nothing really since. Touch wood. I've felt chronic fatigue today - not helped by waking at 4. No other symptoms though which of course is worrying me as felt bit sick and sore yesterday. I've been ok before twice at this point .. If only could speed up the next few weeks, and months. I read online after seeing a heartbeat at 7 weeks miscarriage risk is 2% but 18% if you've had recurrent miscarriages. And it goes up at but more for my age. Hm.. Worry, worry, worry! X
Happy Weekend all xxx

suemays · 01/05/2015 08:19

rosa with my DS I was using cyclogest in the 'normal place' and started to bleed at 6 weeks but it was a light brown colour. I was convinced I was miscarrying again and would never have believed I would be sitting here looking at my healthy 3 month old son! I switched the cyclogest to the bum and the bleeding stopped. It apparently doesn't make any difference where you put them plus i didn't get any side effects. I also noticed that there was less after spillage up the bum!

Rosa27 · 30/04/2015 22:27

Hope how many weeks are you now? Do you have any other big milestones before the major one? :) x

Rosa27 · 30/04/2015 22:26

Drttc- your post about you didn't show when I wrote earlier.. Definitely not signs to ignore. The clear blue picked up for me on day 10.
Thanks off reminding me there are other ways. Have heard some other unpleasant side effects from the other route. I might try though. In my head I thought it might be more effective if closer to the uterus. So nervous of doing anything wrong .. X

Drttc · 30/04/2015 22:22

I'm not sure when to test. I have a 26 day cycle and last time I was pregnant I tested negative on day 25 so assumed I was out... :-/ I'll probably start around cycle day 23 and obsess for a few days!

I came across such a relevant quote today: 'Fear does not stop death, but it prevents life'

Hopender · 30/04/2015 22:03

Yay, so excited to read your post Rosa. Such great news!!

Sounding positive from you too Drttc too! When do you think you will test? X

Drttc · 30/04/2015 21:58

Rosa, this may seem a bit gross but have you considered inserting progesterone from the 'other' side? It's so much easier! There's no mess (just disappears) and no confusion over whether it's causing spotting.

Scan sounds like it went so well!

Rosa27 · 30/04/2015 21:35

I know.. I am still utterly petrified. Just had a wee cry as keep sensing cm and worrying is blood.. It is a little tinged and hoping it's the cyclogest.
Growth was up 5mm since 6 days ago - 11 now which was told to be right for 7+1 (thought was 6+6).
I really can't imagine being being more of a nervous wreck. I think I need to find some mental health therapy - seriously. Thanks for ongoing support xx
Anything new with anyone else. Hope you're all doing ok xx

Drttc · 30/04/2015 20:54

So in the interest of transparency in this TTC journey I'm going to share I've felt nauseous & crampy for the last few days & had a very faint pink wipe today. AF is due in exactly a week. I don't want to even remotely get my hopes up, but it's to the point where I need to acknowledge these symptoms!

I've not taken the pred. I've decided I'm taking at BFP because I don't want to risk messing up my cycle!

Hula2 · 30/04/2015 18:38

Great news Rosa ! Just take it week by week but don t feel you can t share your worries. We re here for each other and if sharing can help reduce your stress then its makes a positive contribution to help your little bean grow strong and healthy which we all want so much for you.

Drttc · 30/04/2015 18:05

Rosa you keep beating your fears!! Amazing!

What did the say in terms of growth? Did the bean look on target for what they were expecting?

Rosa27 · 30/04/2015 12:46

Ps scan today showed I'm still 'ok'. 7+1. Going to try just update weekly and keep my stresses to myself! Wish me luck! X

Rosa27 · 29/04/2015 19:52

You guys are great Smile
And what an uplifting message Determined. I feel inspired.. But a little envious of your energy and zest;)
My latest problem is .... Mice! I saw one on the kitchen floor today. Jeez. They are dangerous too are they not in terms of things you can catch. Like I needed something else to stress about! Looking up pest control.. Live in an old building :-S x

Determined123 · 29/04/2015 07:26

Just checking in and sorry Rosa for the anxiety you have been going through but well said Drttc! We are a special group of ladies that completely understand what it's like! Always here for you Smile

Happy birthday hula! Sorry no bfp pressure but I hope you managed to celebrate with something and got spoilt rotten? CakeFlowers

Sunny am sorry about all your challenges lately, remember to give yourself some time to process everything and work on you.

I can honestly say me having a break from it all and focussing on me because I want to focus on me for my sake and not me for having a baby's sake is the best thing I have ever done. For the first time in 18 months I am positive, feel healthy and depression of everything has massively gone! I actually want to see people now instead of hide away and am enjoying life. Granted still have shit days and am sad for not having a family (yet) but giving me time to get my fitness back, get rid of my steroid bloat and spots and laugh and have fun and spend my brain time on fun things is making me stronger every day! no way of knowing it it will help with my goal of family but it's sure making me enjoy, friends, family and life a lot more as I felt I was wasting my life/wasn't worth it anymore I was thT bad! Hopefully a bit of a break for you will really help xxx
Hi to everyone else!!
Xxxx

Rosa27 · 28/04/2015 21:58

You're so sweet - thanks Drttc. It's true.. It's so great to have people there that get it. I'm taking my pred swollen tummy to bed now. Good night everyone x

Drttc · 28/04/2015 21:53

We all support you, Rosa!! We're here for the meltdowns AND the victories :) Don't ever feel guilty because we aren't like other people. We're eternally interested and invested in everything our group goes through- and I think we're better for it!

Rosa27 · 28/04/2015 20:42

Thanks Hope. Im not really feeling well enough to be in work which is a worry as don't know how long that will last- the pains are more than uncomfortable. Anyway at least am able to do some work from home so not obsessing all day. All stages of this journey are bloody hard aren't they. Hoping I will be forgiven for so many meltdowns xx
