Implantation bleed... Or not?

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar esperience and what the outcome was? A few days after my period was due (according to an app; my cycles vary a bit in length so its hard to say what late is) I noticed some blood when I wiped after going to the toilet. This happened twice in one day but not again afterwards and there was no blood flow. The next day I had cramps. This was 3 days ago. I have also had a horrible cold so not really able to detect if there are any other symptoms. A test last night was negative.
Does this sound like an implantation bleed? If not, I'm really confused as to why I havent had a proper period?

u still not had af 8months.

im ok. bloody shattered and have raging hormones giving me mega mood swings and stabbing pains in boobs. and im only 5weeks lol.

i didnt get thes3 crazy moodswings last time or the tiredness. dp and i have come away for the night tonight and ive been no fun whatsoever as im completely shattered and i am now forcing myself to stay awake for mr selfridge

8months - I dont ever think GP's have any idea what to do with us as we all differ so much - so they just say "see how it goes.."
As hard as it is, maybe its best to take it day by day? Its so awful being in that limbo.. not to give you false hope, but the first time for me, I missed 2 periods before I showed BFP. There is still hope!

I thought I could see something on the test .. then that evening had bright red spotting. Then it stopped.
Today, although its SO light, its bright red blood and Im in agony (which is fairly normal for me with AF).
Our bodies are designed to confuse the hell out of us and keep us guessing constantly!

Fingers crossed for you 8months x

I've been using strips bought on Amazon which are labelled as 10 so should be as sensitive as the Asda ones

i found the asda tests to be quite sensitive too. could try different times of the day aswel. my first test with fmu brought nothing up but a 5pm test did!

Hi 8months how sensitive are the tests that you are using? I swear by the superdrug own brand it picks up 10mlu xx

quick update: went to GP this morning who didn't seem particularly interested. Said I might be pregnant or not, didn't let me have a blood test and said she couldn't do any tests that were more sensitive than a HPT. Told me I just had to wait and see what happens! So a total waste of time. Still no period, still negative tests (not even an evap line now). Think my body is just playing tricks and AF will arrive eventually.

Ginger sending best wishes your way and really hoping it works out this time

was it just that you hadnt seen it tho? i would say that my lines werent really appearing until the stick had dried quite a lot so possibly even outside of the timeframe but u cant argue with a cb digi.

urm trying not to think about it i guess. then a wave of nausea comes over me and reminds me. my excitement is hiding right now. i am 4 wks today. baby stopped developing at 5wks something last time. i know i wont know whether all is well unless i av raging symptoms but once i hit the 6 week mark i think i will relax a bit. then there will be the 8wk booking in apt (i never got to last time as was booked at 9wks then they cancelled then i discovered mmc) then the scan. im glad i am 4 wks now and a third of the way down to the scan now lol!

Not much daylight when I left the house this morning but will check again later. I'm just a bit suspicious because it was outside 10 minutes again.
How are you getting on Ginger? Starting to feel more excited now?

urm that is exactly what my first line looked like on Thursday, I can see a pink tinge is there one? have you held it up to the window? omg! exciting! 4 days later and still a day before af due and afternoon pee cb digi gave me pregnant 2-3 weeks!

8months... I can see a line on the second one..?! But I'm not sure if it's evap? I'm pretty sure that if it is grey it's evaporating, if it's pinky coloured, it's a BFP?

Just to see if they have an idea what might be going on - 49 days and still no period.
Fingers crossed you get a positive eventually!
I looked at the test again just before throwing away about 30 mins later and there was a faint line. Photos attached. Think I might be getting desperate though and clutching at straws

8months.. What are you going to your GP for? :)
I've been to June so often in the last year with my endometriosis, I just feel like an idiot everytime! BFN yesterday - haven't tested today. Was due AF yesterday or today.. Some spotting overnight but nothing like my usual AF so., not a fricking clue.

Spotting has stopped again. No cramping. My nips are sensitive and tingly. I feel like I'm getting thrush really randomly too...
AF due today or tomorrow... And nothing! BFN.
I'm reckon I'm out tbh... Just don't see how, at 13dpo I could have a definite BFN and then suddenly go onto get a BFP! :(

8months - retest tomorrow and pop up a picture! :)

if theres a line theres a line so the saying goes. can u hold a wee in for a while and have another go? either way it should be a bit stronger tomo.

my dp couldnt see my first line so i had to take it to my mam for inspection. have u tried holdinf the test up to daylight? i could see mine much better when i did that. how about uploading a pic?

Does sound awful, especially having to wait so long. It sounds like you're not having the same problems with bleeding this time though so hopefully that is a good sign. Maybe seeing it in words on a digital test will make it seem more real! And you must be nearing 5 weeks already? That is really early.

It's hard to tell what colour the line is. And it's so faint (and I hadn't yet put my glasses on this morning) that it could have been there the whole time but I just didn't see it. I'll go again tomorrow morning. If it's a real line it should be a bit stronger by then.

Who knows then AF is/was due. My ovulation app says 13 days ago but it could have been 8 days or more or less? My cycles have varied between 30 and 40 days since coming off the pill so it's difficult to really track properly. I should really have been using ovulation testing kits but that sounds like much more effort than just DTDing very other day
