twinkle I have a very odd chart this month too (1st time temping) possibly due to illness, lack of sleep, not being stressed for first time in a while or any combination of the above. Really irritated by having to go through another week of tww, a week of AF and a week of just waiting before I get to see whether next cycle brings a chart that means something or not.

Hello! First month of ever trying. Have one probably imagined symptom of lower left hand pressure/twinge almost constantly since 4 dpo.. AF due in 4 days...Not massively hopeful but you never know.. Good luck everybody! :)

It's that dip between CD15 and 17 that's thrown me but perhaps I don't have a smooth rise and ov was CD15 which would reflect the positive OPK, it then dipped a little and then shot up by CD18. Quite possibly temping could have been wrong. Or perhaps stress caused delayed ov. Won't know I guess until I see next month's pattern. Wish I could fast forward!

So I did a FRER with FMU. There is a line but I think it might be an indent. It might possibly be tinted pink but I would say it is more grey/clear.

I won't upload a photo as you wouldn't be able to see it. Still really confused about my BFP though. I'm guessing it was a false result after all.

Thanks purdey I have spotting but I don't know if I'm progesterone deficient... my progesterone confirmed ovulation when I had my bloods done but could it still be low?

This chart I find very interesting. If you read the lady's profile at the top you'll see she was having short luteal phases of less than 10 days Unfortunately, she wasted money on utter horse shit acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbs, which actually did more harm: she is spotting from 14dpo and this evolves into a full-blown bleed, which would be extremely upsetting once a bfp has been seen. Only then does she run off to the GP for some proper, good old-fashioned medication...progesterone.

Can you tell I deplore alternative 'therapies'?

Hmmm...Miss, I cannot find pregnancy charts with short luteal phase and spotting. Why? Because the women who have posted their pregnancy charts - and knew they had a prog deficiency and were sick of the spotting - have all taken progesterone from their doctor. All the charts showing women who have had progesterone deficiency report progesterone support in the 2ww.

Here's an example (remember, you won't see evidence of spotting on their chart because the progesterone has remedied it. Progesterone is shown as 'P' under 'meds' at the bottom right of the chart)...

I'm cd8, opk is negative, for the last 2 months I've had a positive on cd11 so I'm thinking dtd mon(cd9) cd 11 and cd12. Purdey does this sound ok assuming I get positive on cd11? I think our problem is stopping too soon, should we dtd on cd 14 as well?

Oh yes purdey and miss preferably those who have short cycles, short LPs AND those who don't have much sex or at least those who both start and finish without ED screwing them at the end I suspect you may have to go back to the blessed Virgin mary to find someone who has more sex than me, and gets preggo

Twinks, I wouldn't like to say. I am being proved wrong all over the place at the moment, although extensive reading today told me that a) testing should cease after a positive opk has appeared and b) ovulation takes place, on average, 36 hours after the initial surge - but a small percentage of women ovulate only twelve hours after the LH surge This is why it is far more important to have sex before the opk shows positive, to ensure there is plenty of sperm in situ.

purdey if you are still up for rummaging through charts, I would like to see any that show pre-af spotting and then get a bfp. Preferably with a 10-11 day LP. Thanks!

I missed so much!! We went out to an American diner for breakfast, pancakes, maple syrup, sausage pattie, bacon, hash browns, egg and muffin! And a huge milkshake!!
This should help with the consultants advice to put on a bit of weight! Lol.

Purdey - dh original morph score was 3% so the revised 'normal' one must have been better than that, but I will get him to call up and ask
I'm worried what they might find with the scan/lap - not really sure what I'm worried about... I suppose in case it's something they can't fix... Or nothing and they can't help us! I'm such a worrier! Xx

Trying to distract myself from the 2ww so my flat is super clean, have stripped and washed both beds, chicken is marinating for dinner and frittata made for lunchboxes. I wish I was always this productive!

sparkly that's great I think this evening is fine! the positive test means an egg is about to be released and will last for up to 36 hours (I think) so DTD tonight would be perfect timing.

Cariad hi! Hate when data goes on the phone!! So sorry to read about your local NHS process. How frustrating for you. Here it is 1 year TTC until referral and then 2 years for IVF treatment. I hate the postcode lottery and am continually reminded of this with ongoing treatment for my health conditions. It doesn't seem fair at all. However,if you could manage to save up for even a consultation and some initial testing- which I know is easier said than done as it's sooo pricey- then maybe at least you would have a better idea of where you are? I know is hard to get past the cost of actual treatment but maybe even as a starting point you could focus on the consultation. Just knowing you have something in the pipeline can be reassuring. I know everyone here will be keeping positive on your behalf that you will get your BFP on these buses!!.. And v day luck is coming too... Sending and happy to hear from you again! Everyone is here to support you.. Or if you just need a laugh- plenty madness on display!!

Today I have to try and attempt a cake for husbands birthday tomor.. Considering I've not really left my bed for a couple weeks it's gonna be a tough one!! In other news I got a peak on my IC OPKs today and my CB smile appeared!! Wooo!! I totally didn't think I would get it at this stage two weeks post mc so I'm a happy lady today.. Only prob is dh is out at a work do today aka the "football with clients " yeh.. Lots of work getting done! Ha. So I have to wait till his return this evening!! What do you all think-- too late???
