Second cycle of trying...sort of. Tried at beginning of jan but missed ovulation as was at the end of dec. Period due 6th feb.

Am impatient. Want to take a test, but know its just a waste of money!

well if its today or friday a sensitive test might pick it up? the two pack from asda are sensitive and only about £3 something. might be worth an investment.

i couldnt stop testing but felt like i just knew so had to do it till i saw it lol.

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 11/02/2015 15:41

Ginger So maybe testing on Monday was too early then? and the test might be one that's not too sensitive either? I've felt quite nauseous all day today and not much appetite which is unlike me! Well for a 26 cycle today should be AF and for a 28 cycle AF should be Friday. No obvious pains yet to suggest anything going to happen today. I don't even know when to expect AF in all honesty. I guess the waiting game continues Sad. If not successful this month then maybe I'll get the strips again (I know they'll send me into being a crazy testing lady again!). At least last time my craziness was short lived.

gingerbreadmam · 11/02/2015 15:33

sorry secretly was meant for someone else who posted about nob sticky bean couldnt remember their name though.

well clear blue digis arent very sensitive frm what i can gather on here. do you have any supermarkets close by? the asda tests can pick up 4 days before af. you can also order 10mlu sensitive strips on amazon cheaply if that helps. i wasnt patient enough and got my bfp before they arrived Grin .

poas = piss on a stick

FluffinWithMyMuffin · 11/02/2015 15:06

Doesn't sound stupid at all. O have a 3yo and they can be enough to put anyone off at times!

Fingers crossed you have good news this month!

I really am going to start using my laptop instead of my iPhone for this thread, I can't keep track of what's happening on my phone!

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 11/02/2015 15:04

Fluffin I'm not sure whether this will be my 1st or 2nd cycle as it will be my 2nd AF that I'm expecting when/if it comes?! Sounds stupid but its taken quite a few months to convince DP (assume that means partner?) to agree to baby No2 so I'm desperate to get pregnant quickly in case he changes his mind. A 3 1/2 year old boy can certainly push the wrong buttons at times....I keep trying to remind him how cute ans squishy babies are! Smile

FluffinWithMyMuffin · 11/02/2015 15:00

Secretly - this is our first cycle but it's kind of complicated for us (my DP is also female). You and I are pretty much at the same place timings-wise I think Smile

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 11/02/2015 14:56

Sorry Ginger You must have misunderstood me. We haven't lost any, we have a happy 3 1/2 year old. I meant when we tried for him I was pregnant straight away (unless you weren't meaning me in your previous post).
The only test I have done was a Clear Blue Digital. I'm not very clued up on how sensitive which test are to be honest. What do you mean by 'po', sorry I'm not very clued up with all the abbreviations Blush. I was hoping that by avoiding the little sticks that you can use on a daily basis(which I had 1st time round), I'd not drive myself crackers....but I am doing anyway!

Fluffin I used those tests with our first little boy and found myself acting the same way as you so to me you're normal! Wink. Have you been trying long?

gingerbreadmam · 11/02/2015 14:41

secretly how sensitive are your tests? the sensible thing to do is wait until af has definitely been missed.

the gingerbread thing to do is po as many sensitive s's as you cant morning and afternoon until u get what is a definite clear line.

if you look through the thread u can see a pic of the first line i got which is barely noticeable at all.

soo sorry for your loss i hope that you are ok Thanks

FluffinWithMyMuffin · 11/02/2015 14:36

Hello, Secretly. Not only will you find other people to talk to here, but some of us are going just as mad Smile

I can't figure out if my test line has colour or not. I've just gone through the bin in our en suite (if any of you tell anyone I did this, I'll deny it) and the only test that has any sort of test line showing with light from behind it the one I just posted. It shows a line the same thickness as the control line.

I'm losing my mind. What I should do is step away from the pee sticks and forget about it. I won't, but I should

mrsshinn88 · 11/02/2015 14:32

Another non sticky I give up

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 11/02/2015 14:31

Hi Ginger
DTD every 2-3 days for about a 2 week period until the point where I though was well enough past 'normal' ovulation time if that makes sense.
I agree it was short. Pre going on the pill when I was a teenager they were what was deemed 'Regular'. Apparently average cycle is 28 days which is what I was expecting and why I was surprised by last month coming at 26 days. Do I just hold out for the next few days and wait and see? A 'normal' 28 day would take me to Friday when AF should arrive.

gingerbreadmam · 11/02/2015 14:24

if there is colour to the line e.g. it looks pink it probably isnt an evap line as they are usually grey from what ive read.

a 26 day cycle is fairly short and do you mean you dtd 2 or 3 times this month? even if you are pregnant testing early doesnt always pick it up.

Frantasic · 11/02/2015 14:24

I think I see something too... Looks like my first one a few days ago. Grin

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 11/02/2015 14:20

Hi, I'm new Smile We have recently started TTC our 2nd child after much persuasion on my part with the hubby. Came off the pill in December after I finished my pack, had normal AF 26 days later as didn't conceive. Just tried the old fashioned 2-3 times throughout the month and today is when I was expecting my AF if I work on the basis of 26 days. I have no idea how long my cycle should be as last time I was pregnant by this point luckily! My question is if last month it was 26 days does that mean its 26 days this month? I did a test on Monday morning (09/02) but that was negative. I don't know when I ovulated so I was working off my app (Ovia - which I've found quite useful for logging things) telling me that it was Cycle day 23 so I thought it might show up 4 days earlier. I used a Clear Blue Digital but have read that these sometimes aren't quite as sensitive. I feel a bit like I'm going bonkers waiting as 1st time we were pregnant straight away and in all honesty I didn't even think that 2nd time would take time (stupid I know!). Anyway, as hubby has banned me from telling anyone we are TTC I needed to talk to someone so here I am! Do I assume this month is a 26 day cycle like last time or do I wait until Friday and assume its 28? If it was 26 then the test on Monday would have been 2 days before AF so unlikely to be Pregnant?? It's only the 2nd month of trying too (gives head a good wobble) Like I said.....I'm clearly going bonkers! Wink

FluffinWithMyMuffin · 11/02/2015 14:16

I can see it faintly but definitely with a light shining through the back - does that means it's an evap line?

I sent a photo to DP and she can't see a second line. I think I've got pee-stick induced mania!

gingerbreadmam · 11/02/2015 14:09

like u say its feint but i feel like i can sort of see it. have u held it up to a window or shone a light through the back?

my first test on thursday at 12dpo was like that in fact by dp couldnt see it i had to get my mam to check it!

FluffinWithMyMuffin · 11/02/2015 13:58

Here we go. My friend can see it, but perhaps she's just humouring me!

2 week wait. anyone else impatient?
FluffinWithMyMuffin · 11/02/2015 13:55

I've got a pic Ginger, but I'm a bit ashamed to share it because it's so faint!

gingerbreadmam · 11/02/2015 13:49

sounds scientifically correct as morning urine is stronger, u got a pic?

FluffinWithMyMuffin · 11/02/2015 13:32

Ooh Fran - six evap lines are unlikely... Exciting! Hope you get a definitive result soon to put your mind at ease.

Ladies, what do we make of a faint BFP line with first morning wee, and a BFN later in the day? (9dpo - I know, I know. Too early!)

gingerbreadmam · 11/02/2015 12:38

definitely fran, I hope you get a clear bfp soon to put your mind at rest. it was the tiredness that set me off in the first place I was and still am exhausted. it gets to 12 / 1.00pm and im ready for bed.

Frantasic · 11/02/2015 12:32

Yeah, have heard the same thing about blue tests too... The line did come up faintly before the control line though, and has gradually darkened.

I feel sick, have a headache and am KNACKERED today. All positive signs.

gingerbreadmam · 11/02/2015 12:22

on the second test and the last test can definitely see lines. I would be wary about the last one from all the negative stuff I have read on here about blue tests.

you need to keep testing ha! people keep saying you don't often get a false positive.

Frantasic · 11/02/2015 11:57

Ok, I'm slowly losing my shit now... Here are a small selection of the poas I have done in the past 24 hours... In person the lines are all quite visible... I have had 6 faint lines! Does anyone think they could all be evap lines? Sorry to go on about it, after today I'm gonna give it a rest.

2 week wait. anyone else impatient?
