2 week wait. anyone else impatient?

Can I join please? TTC for the second time, DS is now 3, and after a repair op and recovery time we decided to TTC at the end of last year. Got a BFP which resulted in an early miscarriage. Now decided to try again and see what happens. Did an opk yesterday which was a strong positive so DTD yesterday and today. I have irregular periods-between 4-6 weeks so will insist on DTD for another week but when can I test? It makes it hard to know.

The Witch got me, I had positive opk clear blue solid smiley on Friday 30th, so yesterday was less than 11 day post ovulation she came (stupid cow) As I have two wonderful children, I know my luteal phase is healthy, so why did the witch prematurely? I had Mirena taken out 5 dec 2014, withdrawal bleed for two days, first AF 13th jan, positive opk 30 th jan. transvaginal scan 6th feb confirmed ovulation and healthy lining.Bd every othe day. I am so frustrated. Why did I not get my BFP, nearly 40. Best wishes to those still in.

Hi Lily, nearly the same age as you - I'll be 42 this year. My cycle is all up the spout. I frankly have no idea what's going on with it.

lily I'm in a similar situation, ttc after a mc in December. I'm pretty sure I ov 'd at the weekend too, so am now 5 or 6 dpo. It's way too soon for af, so maybe you had a really early implantation bleed - if it can happen so soon, I'm not sure.
When I had IB in a previous page, it was a gush of bright red blood and that was it.

I am so confused. I had a positive opk last Friday and dtd a lot over the weekend. I had a MMC on Christmas Eve and at the ripe old age of 42 am desperate to get pregnant again! Really thought this might be the time, however yesterday had a bleed. It wasn't heavy, it was red and today it's been a bit like a dark brown discharge, like the end of a period! Does this mean I am out? Yesterday I would have only been 5 dpo. Argh!

oh well if u havent even really missed af theres still chance i guess?

my first test last thursday 4 days before af was barely recognisable by sunday i had 2-3 weeks on cb digi.

Sorry, Pant. Thought you were one of us crazy early testers. Is your cycle regular? Mine's all over the place so I don't really know when AF's due. I had a 31 day cycle a few months ago but recently they've been 27 or less.

Yup, very sensitive tests that should pick up from 10dpo. I used the same ones last time and they worked perfectly (new, in date tests now obviously). Cycles are 26 days but I have very rarely gone to 28 which is why I've been expecting AF today (day 28).

17 dpo. The dreams were amazing with DC1 which is why I find it so weird to have them again now.

i mentioned it to my mam and she said she had a similar dream just before she discovered she was pregnant with my db her first child and he was also born in october

Ginger I had a similar dream last night (I've had a week or so of really vivid dreams) so I got out of bed, poas at half three in the morning and got BFN.

Anyone poas today? I did!
BFN, unsurprisingly: it's 6 days too early for a 28 day cycle (but only 3 days too early if it's a 25 day cycle, like my last one). Either way - too damn early! At least I have no more tests in the house, so I won't be tempted tomorrow.

i kind of felt / dramed id got pregnant and i my dream did 4 tests all bfps then came on mumsnet in my dream and wrote today i am pregnant. guess i convinced myself too hence all the silly early testing but i got there in the end ha.

Not sure when AF due as I'm normally 28 days but last 3 cycles have been 27, 27 and 25. If it's 28, I've got a whole damned week to wait.
I had a really vivid dream the other night that a woman was holding up a test to me and saying: you're pregnant! I thought: (a) how can it show anything when AF's not due for ages? and (b) how did you get access to my pee?!
I'm rational in my dreams, at least. In real life, I'm fighting the urge to pointlessly poas. Glad I'm not the only one!!
