Second cycle of trying...sort of. Tried at beginning of jan but missed ovulation as was at the end of dec. Period due 6th feb.

Am impatient. Want to take a test, but know its just a waste of money!

Well, having googled "period pains and diarrhoea but no period" I've convinced myself these could be signs I am pg - although I never experienced anything like this with either of my other pregnancies. I just HAD to poas this afternoon - BFN. But AF probably isn't due for another 3/4 days. I can't stand not knowing. I want to tell my OH what's going on with me because I'm feeling a bit crazy, but I'm holding back in case it turns out to be just a tummy bug. Blush

temperamentalamongcorvids · 14/02/2015 16:10

Deep heat? That makes my eyes sting just thinking about it.

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 14/02/2015 16:01

when foreplay involves deep heat the romance has gone from TTC!

temperamentalamongcorvids · 14/02/2015 15:52

And hello monkey! Similarly your spotting could be either... I'm finding it hard to deal with how closely pmt and early pg symptoms mimic each other. In October I was convinced I had a bad case of pmt, and turned out to be pregnant. Took loads of agnus castus for the symptoms before I realised, subsequently miscarried. now I feel pregnant but who knows...?

temperamentalamongcorvids · 14/02/2015 15:48

Sorry to hear that lily
I used to get spotting 2 or 3 days before af arrived, so frustrating when ttc as it mimics implant bleeding so closely.

Monkeysocks38 · 14/02/2015 15:39

Hi everyone. I'm 38 and ttc baby number 3 with babies 1 & 2 now being big babies of 19 & 17!

This is our first month of ttc having had the mirena coil removed on 11th December, a two day withdrawl bleed and my first AF on the 17th Jan. I "think" ovulation was around the end of jan but I wasn't very good at remembering to temp before getting out of bed every morning!

So on my old pre Mirena 28 day cycle AF is due today. I had what I thought might have been some implantation spotting on Tuesday (it was brown! Is that right??) which then stopped and then yesterday another tiny bit of brown bleeding. Is this AF starting or could I be pregnant? I have convinced myself I feel nauseous but apart from bursting into tears for no reason for the last week I don't have any other symptoms.

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 14/02/2015 10:11

I got mine from e-bay, they were about a tenner for about a 100! Grin

SeldomAthleticFC · 14/02/2015 10:08

So sorry, Lily. Flowers I guess your body just needs a bit longer to recover.
Been having period pains for over 24 hours now, but still no AF. Normally, bleeding and cramps come as a package so this unusual but it totally feels like period pains. AF still not due til tomorrow at the earliest, more likely Tuesday or Wednesday.
I have the shits this morning (nice!) but that could just be my body's response to being woken at 3.30am to watch England be humiliated by Australia in the cricket. Sad

Lilymog · 14/02/2015 09:56

Where do you get them from and what should I look for? Thanks

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 14/02/2015 09:29

I got internet cheapies which I think do the job but are not as easy to interpret as the CB ones. Sorry to hear about AF. Time to get back on that horse Wink.

Lilymog · 14/02/2015 09:02

Well that's me out, AF has arrived a week early, the small bleeding I was hoping was implantation bleeding has turned into the witch! Gutted is not the word. Guess my system is mucked up by the MMC! But now I have no idea when I should start to test for ovulation. What methods do you all use, so far I have only used the CB digital ovulation tests but they are so expensive. Any advice? Xx

gingerbreadmam · 13/02/2015 19:09

congrats fluffin Grin

SeldomAthleticFC · 13/02/2015 18:30

Congrats Fluffin!
You deserve a BFP for effort, Focus!
Still no sign of the witch for me, though I'm pretty sure she's coming. At least if AF's early it'll save me some money on unnecessary early tests!

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 13/02/2015 17:44

Congrats fluffin :). Just purchased a load of pregnancy tests. My desires to POAS regardless of probability will hopefully be sated! Grin

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 13/02/2015 16:57

Ah great news Fluffin
I did 3 different brands in the end and got feint positive on all 3 so must be a good result.
Sending happy BFP thoughts to everyone still waiting Smile xx

Congrats, Fluffin! I guess today isn't that unlucky!

FluffinWithMyMuffin · 13/02/2015 14:55

Hi everyone!

Sorry about the witch, Flourishing Flowers

Congratulations, Secretly! I think I might be joining you in Due In October...

Hello all!

I am back and joining again as today is Ovulation Day so my TWW begins tomorrow. Gosh this thread has grown!!!! Congrats to all the BFPs - hope this is the lucky thread :)

I got my massive LH surge all day yesterday and ClearBlue steady smileys for peak fertility - and sure enough this morning - with a dull twinge of hour long pain my left ovary has pushed out Ze Egg.

This month we've given it our all. We'd both long been on conception vita (only Cycle 2 of TTC though - just had started prepping body last year) - but now Dh has been taking extra Zinc, CoQ10 and Vits C and E, and I've been upping my low iron reserves, and having raspberry leaf tea, grapefruit juice and Evening Primrose Oil till today. And keeping womb warm :) Oh and have started acupuncture as well - had a session end of AF, a session 3 days before ovulation and 1 session due 4 DPO.

So Miss Egg is likely to meet - fresh swimmers (tonight), 12 hour old swimmers (last night) 1 day old swimmers (last morning), 2 day old swimmers (Wednesday morning), 3.5 day old swimmers (Monday night) and any old sods clinging on from 5.5 day old swimmers (Saturday evening).

Couldn't have done any more - DH's penis is going to fall off!!!

Having lots of warm foods, ginger and cinnamon teas to keep warm, continue taking my Spatone for blood reserves, iron rich foods, warm bottles, and pineapple core and pineapple till 6 dpo.

Fingers crossed for everyone!!!

xxxx

MyCrazyLife · 13/02/2015 09:51

Congrats Secretly - that's a positive! I don't like blue line tests; they're always fainter for me. Superdrug are my favourite :)

Seldom - good luck for Monday! I hate seeing BFN so I'm going to try to wait until AF arrives. DH is working away anyway. Doubt I'll be able to hold out though... I've already got tests in the cupboard!

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 13/02/2015 09:25

Thanks Seldom.
To be fair I've felt nauseous for the past 3 days now. When I did a test on Monday it was negative but too early I guess. I need to get another test thats not CB before we celebrate. Any recommendations? Someone on here mentioned pink indicator is better than blue??

SeldomAthleticFC · 13/02/2015 09:21

That is definitely a line, Secretly. Congratulations!! Smile
I woke up with period pains this morning. AF probably not due til at least Sunday - trying to convince myself the pains are just wind. LOL.

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 13/02/2015 08:46

So POAS this morning. Today is when AF should arrive if 28 day cycle, wasnt sure if it was 26 which would have been Wednesday. Got very feint line on the cross for Clear Blue Digi. I can see it and hubby can too but because its so feint we don't want to celebrate just yet. I have attached pictures - can anyone else see a feint line too. Should I get another test from a different brand? If so what do you recommend??? Apparently it might be feint as its the day I'm expecting my AF?? HELP

macca if they're there, you'll pee on them, in my experience.

Yesterday and this morning my nipples have been hurting, a lot. And when I squeezed one in the shower, a bit of milk came out. I stopped bf almost 14 months ago.

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 12/02/2015 22:36

Is it a bad thing that the bag of 100 internet cheapies is looking a little bit diminished after only a couple of months, when we weren't really trying at all?? Blush

SeldomAthleticFC · 12/02/2015 22:31

Bad luck, Flourishing. Flowers She is a right old bag, that witch.
Hi Macca, I think it's sensible to assume that AF is due on the basis of my longest recent cycle (which would be weds) but I'm testing on the assumption that AF is due anytime now (because I've gone slightly mad this month)
