Second cycle of trying...sort of. Tried at beginning of jan but missed ovulation as was at the end of dec. Period due 6th feb.

Am impatient. Want to take a test, but know its just a waste of money!

Yeah, I can feel my period coming too. Getting depressed now. Oh well, hopefully my luck will change next month.

temperamentalamongcorvids · 12/03/2015 19:53

Sorry to hear that seldom

I'm back in the 2w. Was so sure I was pregnant last month, I was genuinely shocked when af arrived bang on time. I kept a list of all my many symptoms so this time I can remind myself that pms has all the same same features as early pregnancy.

Monkeysocks38 · 12/03/2015 19:48

Ah no Seldom. AF also arrived for me today which makes this cycle 26 days. This was exactly 14 days after ovulation though so I think it's still ok in terms of the luteal (not sure if that's how it's spelt) phase. Do you know when you ovulated?

I've added some additional supplements for this month so now also taking coq10 and Maca capsules. I'm considering investing in Holland & Barrett shares!

I have decided that this next month will be different in that I am not going to get totally obsessed with the 2WW and symptom spotting. It will be just like any other two weeks. Let's see if I can stick to this in two weeks time!

SeldomAthleticFC · 12/03/2015 19:08

AF arrived today, 3 frigging days earlier than I'd expected. My 2ww is getting shorter and shorter. This cycle was 24 days. Bollocks.

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 11/03/2015 20:25

Back to peeing on ov sticks and charting even though I know it's far too early. My long cycle prolongs the agony!

Roll on the 2nd April when AF is due and I'll know either way.

Absolutely no real symptoms at all , unless you count my usual pre-period ones, which of course my brain is desperately trying to twist into "could I be" ones. But deep down I know that at around 10dpo I'm likely out this month.

I feel down just like I usually do at this time of the month, every month, I'm acting the same, just as irrational, weepy etc, eating the same sweet tooth etc, the sore post-O boobs I had have gone away completely now and I have no food cravings, no sickness nothing. Sad

Last night I dreamt I poas and got a BFP but I know not to read anything into it because I had the same dream last month. I've got no symptoms at all, really. Which is a good thing because it means I'm not making myself crazy on google.
Only 4 days til I can poas for real, unless AF arrives in time to save me the bother.

Hi Seldom

We were just supposed to be seeing what happened and if after 6 months there was nothing then it wasn't meant to be. It doesn't really work like that though does it? Having finally made the decision that we would like to ttc I can't imagine being in a place where it doesn't work out. My DH says I am putting too much pressure on myself and need to chill out a bit. Perhaps he's right although of course I can't admit that otherwise he might think he's right on other occasions!

I have taken to googling every possible symptom and of course if you look hard enough you will always find the answer you want.

I will at least be able to enjoy a bottle of wine (or 10) this weekend for Mother's Day with my mum. Every cloud and all that!

It will soon be time to start all over again. Here's hoping we're not having the same conversation this time next month.

SeldomAthleticFC · 10/03/2015 21:10

Hi Monkey
I'm trying to stay sane and not go mental like I did last month.
AF due Sunday, probably. My cycles are a bit unpredictable - last 4 were 27, 27, 25, 26.
We're not even really TTC, just "seeing what happens". I'm 41 and peri-menopausal, so it's not terribly likely and I don't want to get my hopes up. Cycle 5 now.
Last month I completely convinced myself I was pg but clearly wasn't. This month I had tender boobs a couple of days ago and thought "a-ha!" but that could just be a new peri-m symptom: they seem to have returned to normal now, anyway.
I'm really trying not to obsess too much but it's not easy!

Monkeysocks38 · 10/03/2015 19:53

Hi again everyone and huge congratulations to you hopefull. I'm on my second 2WW and the first month of using the clear blue advanced fertility monitor. Ovulation was a few days earlier than expected and the monitor predicts AF will arrive in 2 days but I am hoping not otherwise I'm down to a 25 day cycle!
I had once again convinced myself that this could be the month as I was suffering with nausea and a strange taste in my mouth. I've been testing with ic's for a few days but bfns. Decided to try the monitor's test today and received a very sobering 'not pregnant'. Seeing the words is a lot harder than simply not seeing a line.
I'm trying not to get too disheartened, it is after all only month 2 of ttc but I'm edging closer to 39 and time is definitely not on my side.

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 06/03/2015 09:35

congratulations hopeful! - that's a fancy pants monitor! x

nightandthelight · 06/03/2015 08:17

HopeFull28 · 06/03/2015 06:23

SeldomAthleticFC · 05/03/2015 19:34

HopeFull28 · 05/03/2015 10:20

toohardtothinkofaname · 02/03/2015 22:02

Was popping in to see if any familiar faces around?

Currently on cycle 3, TTC 7 months (dodgy post-bc cycles) either 18 or 11 dpo so testing tomorrow. No symptoms apart from very spotty (face, back & chest) & temp dip with spotting weekend just gone.

HopeFull28 · 01/03/2015 18:47

Hahaha I'm addicted to POAS! So relieved was starting to think there was something wrong with me! ??

SeldomAthleticFC · 01/03/2015 13:00

I'd say just keep on PingOAS until you believe it, HopeFull or until your baby is born, whichever comes first.

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 01/03/2015 12:50

Congratulations! :)

HopeFull28 · 01/03/2015 11:38

Thank you seldom, I'm finding myself not completely believing it yet! Hmm

SeldomAthleticFC · 01/03/2015 11:24

Congrats, HopeFull!
