Second cycle of trying...sort of. Tried at beginning of jan but missed ovulation as was at the end of dec. Period due 6th feb.

Am impatient. Want to take a test, but know its just a waste of money!

Aww, thanks for your understanding guys.

MrsG... Like the others said, don't talk it to heart. I remember the last time I was PG. I posted on here about it and one person was really disparaging, she said that she felt it was unfair that I'd fallen PG so easily when there were other people trying for years and nothing.

What pissed me of about it was A) I have PCOS, and it was sheer luck. When tcc with DD it took 18 months and I was only 21. And B) it may not have been planned but it was very much wanted and I was in a position to give it a loving childhood, so really, it was not for them to judge the circumstances.

I have two DC... A DS who's 18 and DD who's 20.

i cant quite remember ur situation mrsg but whatever it is people on an interner forum never know the fully story only snip bits that come across so its hard to base a proper opinion on that.

if i postes about my dp on here at times he'd sound a monster but hes not he has lots of good qualities and we mostly work well together. its just how it is. id try not to worry too much.

MrsG23 · 09/02/2015 17:00

Yeh.. I just thought I'd get a few more eyes on it. I fully understand what they are saying.. But I'm still worried. I'm certainly not the first person to be my situation..?

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 09/02/2015 16:44

What was the other thread mrsg?

oh and mrsg some of the replies u get on here at times amaze me. i posted a couple of weeks ago in aibu about something trivial but that was annoying me, i was actually trying to do a good deed and got slated lol. scares me at times.

i wonder who posts on here sometimes too dont know if i live in a particularly poor or run down area but what they were saying did not fit in with where i live.

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 16:39

ohr fran i totally see where youre coming from. if your dp knows the situation with contraception then he doesnt really have a leg to stand on. do you only have the one child so far?

mrsg i saw the other thread. the dip test did look flooded but the one in the casing looked just like mine and that was definitely positive. i didnt do a cb digi any earlier but it was 4 days later when i got bfp on ky cbdigi.

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 09/02/2015 16:31

That sounds like a plan.. :)

God, posted a picture of my pregnancy test asking for advice - and they are royally laying into me... I feel emotional about the whole thing anyway and they are accusing me of trying to fall pregnant on purpose when my husband doesn't want a child yet...

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 16:20

Thanks MrsG. That's why I'm not rushing to tell him. He's a teacher and is at work now anyway. And he's rubbish to communicate with when he gets home because of marking and lesson planning. If I'm still getting BFPs at the weekend I'll tell him then... That'll give him the half term to get his head round it.

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 16:15

Different HPTs have different sensitivities. I know that clear blue digi's are not very sensitive. Give it a few days and see what happens.

MrsG23 · 09/02/2015 16:15

No, it's disappeared now.. And the clear blue digi says not pregnant?

Completely understand where you are coming from Fran! Maybe wait until you get your head around it and sort it in your own mind? X

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 16:09

I can defo see a line @mrsG. Can you still see it on the test?

The last time DP was not great about it, we bearly spoke about it. This massively puts me off saying anything at this stage. We aren't in a very committed relationship, and to be honest, weren't even trying. I would love a LO and would do it alone if I had to. I am 42 and have my own set up and I probs won't get another chance. Does that sound awful?

MrsG23 · 09/02/2015 16:07

A clear blue digi I says not pregnant...???

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 09/02/2015 16:03

Congrats ladies! Still no AF here

Are you guys sure..?? Even looking at the first 2 - I can't see anything on those ones???

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 15:50

oh i would definitely tell dp if anyone he will understand. plus itll be a nitemare to kp to yourself.

its scary isnt it. i just keep telling myself you were just a statistic last time this time will be fine i know a bit earlier too so can look after myself more. once i get to 6 wks ill feel a bit happier and hopefully get some obv symptoms to help me out.

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 15:42

I'm the same ginger... I told my mum, but in a matter of a fact way and followed it up with we'll see. I want to be excited, but I'm terrified. Not sure whether to say anything to DP because I'm scared I'm wrong or it's a chemical pg.

Frantasic · 09/02/2015 15:38

Defo MrsG it's how mine looks today. Exciting.

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 14:49

gingerbreadmam · 09/02/2015 14:45

petrified in one word. and also a little sad that i cant jump in with all the excitedness last time as i know what can happen.

i told close family and friends almost straight away last time, dp wont even tell his parents this time. its a really sad position to be in. i am obviously chuffed to bits and keep reminding myself everything will be fine but its stll there niggling away.

will have a look now mrsg

MrsG23 · 09/02/2015 14:22
