RoseBud2015 · 24/01/2015 15:13

Congrats mustbemad Defo a faint line!

RoseBud2015 · 24/01/2015 15:11

Cariad Purdey Bovny Thanks, I KNOW you are all right!.....Normally I am a strong, assertive 30 year old woman, but for some (very strange) reason when I go to the docs, particularly when related to fertility issues, I turn into a shy little wimp! Blush

I find them really intimidating and feel like I'm wasting their time- stupid huh? Blush

Purdey I going to try my hardest to get over my inferiority complex and damn well demand tests. You will be my little purdey bird sitting on my shoulder remembering me not to take any shit! Grin

59sound · 24/01/2015 15:05

I can see a line! Congrats mustbemad!

CD5 for me so mostly yawnsville, waiting for AF to bog off. Hoping to start on the plan tomorrow, which mostly involves popping vits, dtd eod or more (!) and generally trying to relax. We're off for a night away next weekend without DD which happens to coincide with my expected ov date so hoping that will help!

loopylou1984 · 24/01/2015 14:58

Mustbemad - I'm on my phone so can't see it, but sounds like congratulations might be in order! X

PurdeyBirdie · 24/01/2015 14:57

Marmite, you'll have to take the very first temp as the truest one (an hour earlier than normal is no huge problem, even if you get the open circle). Once you have taken your temp - and the thermometer has been under a warm tongue - any later readings will be completely invalid.

mustbemad71 · 24/01/2015 14:46

Aaaargh thanks Tessie - it does look pinkish in RL which I think is good? I'm not going to get ahead of myself though because at 43 the chances are that this won't be a sticky one.

tessiegirl · 24/01/2015 14:42

Just popping in to say I can see a line mustbemad!

mustbemad71 · 24/01/2015 14:35

Sorry about the dreadful photo but it's a real squinter! Can anyone else see it or is it just me and the DP?! Not getting at all excited yet as still 3 days until AF due plus this is a crappy IC test. Aaaaargh, don't know what to think!

mrsC these sound like pretty great symptoms to me.....!!! Fingers firmly crossed!!!! Grin

MrsCrumbtious · 24/01/2015 14:13

Hi everyone just finding my seat again on the bus!

Today I'm 9dpo, boobs and nips are so so painful after complaining they weren't hurting for days (hoping it's not AF flexing her monthly muscles!). Did my weekly shop at morries today and OMG had to avoid a few old dears that smelt like they poured half a bottle of perfume down themselves yuck!

Been feeling a tiny bit queasy, tired and had what felt like a burning sensation in my belly

Mrs (symptom spotting nutjob) Crumbtious signing off for now Wink

Nevlet · 24/01/2015 13:54

dojo think you are right there he is a goodun! Ive told him we can test but not to be disappointed if a no as theres still hope haha

loopylou1984 · 24/01/2015 13:53

Hehe to the cock 10! Xx

Sparkly123 · 24/01/2015 13:51

Homeboddy oh yuk that's terrible. Is it just a bug? Not ideal I hope you feel better very soon!! I'm trying not to google anything at all as trying to keep as positive a mindset as poss. We are doing at home AI so technically I just need to lie there (no dtd needed!) which I feel I can do.. I just feel bit nervous about doing it whilst I still have cramps.

Tessie hi! How are you? Thanks for welcoming all us January ladies! This is going to be a lucky bus I can feel it!!

Homeboddy49 · 24/01/2015 13:40

Hey Sparkly
I didn't actually dtd until about 3 weeks after as I just wasn't in the mood mentally but three weeks after felt like straight away for me.

God I have googled reasons for a miscarriage about a million times!

It is a cliche but time is such a healer.

I am starting to get better thank you for asking. I've had awful vomiting since Thursday and totally wiped out.

babsbunny · 24/01/2015 13:37

Purdey. That sounds like a robust plan! Well done on talking dh into it!

missmrsmummy, no probs. It's the cool kids seat! Bring on the chocs, you've done well to make them last. I hoovered up all ours before the tree came down!

Af due yesterday. Had pink spots on Wed (11dpo) and some brown cm the last few days and this morning. It's got to be Af having a bit of a joke Confused

tessiegirl · 24/01/2015 13:36

Congrats Anna!

Oh that made me laugh Bovny! Nice load of supplements you have there, I may need to invest in some co enzyme q10...

To all those of you worried about coming over to the Feb bus, please don't be!! We don't bite and we are all at different stages in our cycles so you will fit in just fine! Grin

shinysparklythings · 24/01/2015 13:36

bonvy the cock 10 made me chuckle! :)

Bovnydazzler · 24/01/2015 13:24

Last post, promise.
I think the shop assistant thought I was a bit mad, I asked for 'coq10' pronounced 'cock 10'.... 'Err I think you may mean co enzyme q10' she said. Oops!

Bovnydazzler · 24/01/2015 13:22

I have been to Holland and Barrett this morning. Not usually a fan of the shop, I'm generally of the opinion that 85% of supplements are a rip off and a way to make money. Anyway I've come back with the following selection (b vitamins brought only as they were on BOGOF with the EPO). Now I've got to research dosage for next cycle!

Bovnydazzler · 24/01/2015 13:20

Morning all!
rosebud definitely go to your GP. My GP (NW england) referred me to Gyno straight away despite only having been trying approx 6 months because of long irregular cycles. I also already have a child. So don't let them fob you off like purdey said. The key test is the 21 day blood test but hard/impossible to get the timing right unless you temp (and get temperature rise) or get positive OPK as has to be 7 days before AF, I hadnt a clue. I was prescribed nonethisterone to bring on a cycle so they could do the day 3 blood tests (once cycle had gone 80+ days). However, although they shouldn't fob you off, I'd advise telling them you have been trying over a year (if under 35?), 6 months if not. Many docs will just tell you to wait rightly or wrongly. Let us know what the doc said, good luck.

Nomio230 · 24/01/2015 13:13

I am still around, but nothing to report. Day 2 of af. Hmm

Congratulations Anna!
