Waiting for second period after dd who was born in January. Normally my periods are really regular, and I know when I ovulate, but this one hasn't arrived yet. I realised yesterday and joked to dh that perhaps dc3 was on the way Grin
I'm still breastfeeding and my nipples are really quiet painful during the first 30 seconds or so, which has only started over the last three days. This afternoon I felt like I had period pain, but nothing happened, and tmi but there's quite a lot of cm. I have also started feeling sick for the last three afternoons, same time each day Hmm
Tbh I would be thrilled if I was but dd took 6 years to have and we went through IVF etc. I know I need to POAS but we're on holiday abroad with family so I can't just nip off to the chemist. DSIL is desperate for a child and if she were to catch wind of it I think it would really upset her. We're away for another week so thought it might be fun to speculate in the meantime Grin
Anyone got any thoughts?!

My OH have done the exact same thing in the past - seems to shock the body doesn't it? Lol :)

Last night was horrendous! Had the worst cramping ever - I had taken 2 cocodamol, 2 tramadol, mefenamic acid as well as wearing a heat pad on the front and a tens machine on the back and I was just, beyond help... My poor husband was so upset because he couldn't help me...! The problem is, the painkillers not me for six - so I spent the entire night watching the room spin and trying not to vomit, whilst not being completely pain free either. Then got up at 6 for. 12 hour shift. Spent most of the shift completely off my face, nearly falling asleep because I was so high in painkillers and lack of sleep! Horrendous.

Still very little bleeding, a lot of it old blood and a few clots. Only wearing pads. Pain is still quite severe - feels like I've been kicked between the legs. Will see how the next few days go I think? :)

Littlemisssunshine75 · 05/01/2015 20:14

I'd go to the GP if I were you MrsG... It does sound weird. Have you taken anything for the pain? Hope you're okay and it's slightly better today.

On a slightly lighter note my dh decided to 'help' speed up the arrival of AF last night Wink and lo and behold it arrived with a vengeance this morning. So weird. DH is rather proud of himself Grin

Really hope you're okay... What's been happening today?

My AF is usually mega heavy - like changing a super tampon every 1-2 hours! :( x

MrsG23 · 04/01/2015 17:44

Ok.. So major cramping today - I've been in tears.. Feels like someone is trying to claw my uterus out as well as mess with my back. :( been spotting brown discharge when I wipe on and off since Wednesday... Now very dark, very watery blood (sorry tmi) but not enough to fill a pad, only when I wipe? :( x

MrsG23 · 03/01/2015 22:34

You may find that things are still a little funny following on from your daughters birth... Maybe just wait it out? Do you have symptoms?

Just been to the toilet... Passed a clot. And now nothing. Looks like my AF could be on its way.. Doesn't account for the nausea in the last 2 weeks though? :( day 39 today... Maybe just a long cycle for me?

Littlemisssunshine75 · 03/01/2015 22:15

PS my last AF was 22nd November, so 6 weeks ago, eek! My cycles are normally around 30 days Confused

It sounds like you could be if it's happening the same way as your first pregnancy... It's worth talking to your GP if you're worried, or otherwise you'll just have to sit it out until either AF arrives or a BFP appears.

No, we're not trying. I have a ds (7) and dd (11 months) so our family is complete Smile If number three did come along to surprise us I would be thrilled though! It's not likely to happen though, and I'm thinking that maybe my missing AF is the start of the end of my fertility. Either that or things are still funny after dd. I've only had one AF since she was born as I'm still breastfeeding. We shall see what happens, but I'm not too worried. A little frustrated perhaps, but calm Smile

It can't be implantation bleeding though.. My OH has been away working since just before Christmas - we haven't had sex since 13th December! It would be too late for it.. Which makes me think I can't be pregnant? And yeh.. Missed my first period, got BFN for weeks. Then missed a second and got my BFP. It's the nausea that's getting me.. It's been going on for 2 weeks now. I've vomited once to an overpowering smell but that's it - it's just always there but not doing much. If it was a bug - it would have calmed by now? Also - my boobs getting bigger and my clothes filling out makes me think I am - that's what happened the first time round too.

Are you actively trying littlemiss? How long has it been since your missed period? Will you to your GP?

Littlemisssunshine75 · 03/01/2015 21:12

Gosh... Did you test earlier than 8 weeks with your first pregnancy?
The brown discharge does sound like implantation bleeding, but it's weird you're getting BFN's. Perhaps this could be an anovulatory cycle, where you haven't ovulated and just miss a period completely? I haven't really got a clue though so it's a shot in the dark!!
Hope you and your dh are okay - it's a worrying time with all the uncertainty Sad
I'm fine thanks, just ignoring the lack of AF - no doubt it'll surprise me at the worst moment Grin

I kinda feel like the longer it goes on, the more I wanna convince myself that I'm not... You know? Some more brown discharge this evening with no cramping now got 2 days? I'll have an hour of brown discharge and then nothing all day. It's so odd!
My first pregnancy showed up after 8 weeks! I just kinda feel like I'm over reacting if I go to a GP as I'm convinced they will say I'm not pregnant! Lol
I'm working all weekend and haven't got a day off until Friday, but I'm gonna try get a really early appointment Tuesday morning or late app... If nothing settles. :(
DH is so worried - for me and for the situation. He is quite quiet which means he is thinking things over in his head - he doesn't want to be a dad yet. So it's quite scary at the moment.

How are you doing?

Littlemisssunshine75 · 03/01/2015 19:30

Wow, it does sound like you have some serious pregnancy symptoms going on!
I have heard of a couple of cases where people who were pregnant didn't test positive on hpt's - is it worth a trip to your GP perhaps?
What's your dh said?

OP posts:
MrsG23 · 03/01/2015 15:41

Hey! Name change - not to confuse you! :)
No AF... High temperatures, the nausea has REALLY ramped up - feel like I'm on a boat.
Some cramping over new year which was really sore but stopped Thursday and had nothing since. Brown discharge when wiping now for 4 days... But no AF. Not a clue what is happening. At my cousins baby shower, one glass of prosecco and I feel shattered and drunk! I don't fit in any of my bras at the moment, I've had to buy new jeans! :( I feel pregnant ... The longer it goes on with a BFN, the more I'm umming and ahhing about what is happening. But I'm not convinced I'm not pregnant :(

Littlemisssunshine75 · 03/01/2015 15:05

Any news Mrsgentle? Hope all is okay Smile Did you test again?
My AF is STILL not here Confused I'm definitely not pregnant, so haven't a clue where it is!

OP posts:
Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 17:13

Yes definitely!? I've got a load of cheaply ones too... Gonna leave it until maybe the weekend...? So same sort of time as you. Just wish AF would come so I know one way or another, you know?

Littlemisssunshine75 · 30/12/2014 17:04
Grin We fly back on Friday and I have loads of internet cheapies at home so will test again then if still nothing. How about you? It's just so weird isn't it! At least we're able to grumble to each other about it Grin

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 14:39

Haha provoking the law of sod made me chuckle!
Our bodies are designed to permanently confuses, I feel!
Will you test again , at some point?
X

Littlemisssunshine75 · 30/12/2014 14:28

Your symptoms sound just like mine, what on earth is going on?!
At least if you are pregnant it won't be such a shock to your dh Grin
I wish my AF would just arrive now - I thought it had yesterday when I was wearing white trousers... Even provoking the law of Sod isn't working ConfusedGrin

OP posts:
Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 13:50

I've just re read in my exhausted state... You tested negative, I'm so sorry?!
This is another issue - I can't concentrate on anything! Or get my words out properly... Nightmare! My OH actually said to me yesterday "you aren't pregnant, are you?"
X

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 13:47

Hi! Nope... Nothing happening this end.
Ordered a dominoes yesterday and nearly heaved when it arrived. Some cramping and back pain, really tender boobs and sensitive nips but that's it.
BFN this morning, so I'm not sure what my body is up to?

How about you littlemiss ?

Littlemisssunshine75 · 30/12/2014 09:03

Hi Mrsgentle, just wondering how you're doing? Has your AF started yet? Mine still hasn't... Hmm

OP posts:
Mrsgentle2014 · 27/12/2014 18:17

Most definitely not an option... We shall see what the future brings :)
cheers to a glass of wine!

Littlemisssunshine75 · 27/12/2014 18:16

Ah, sorry to hear that Mrsgentle Sad I think your gut reaction does say a lot about how you really feel... Is ttc an option? Sounds like your dh needs to get his head around it first though.
On the bright side at least we can both have a much needed glass of wine tonight!

OP posts:
Mrsgentle2014 · 27/12/2014 14:49

Negative... Which I'm gutted about, therefore I must secretly want one when I know I shouldnt.
Guess I'm just poorly and not pregnant?

Mrsgentle2014 · 27/12/2014 13:49

Oh littlemiss... It's such an odd feeling isn't it - one of mixed joy and fear...
OH would be dismayed and it may take a good 9 months and plenty of stern words with him from various family members for him to get his head around it... Haven't got out yet, but I will try in a minute! Xx

Littlemisssunshine75 · 27/12/2014 13:40

I've just tested, it was negative... I don't think I mind because it would just be too soon after dd, but I haven't a clue what's going on with my body!!

There's always that panicky feeling first time, would OH really be dismayed, or would he secretly be pleased do you think?!
