I'm just back from my inlaws out in the sticks and pleased to be home after 3 nights on little pull out bed. Was a bit down on Christmas morning, feeling sad that we may never have our own family Christmas routine, and that we'll always end up tagging along as part of somebody else's. Our little nephew enjoyed himself though and got loads of presents, which was nice. Now it's rinse and repeat with my family tomorrow, although adults only for this one.

I've never minded the kids, beaky - They seem much less judgy than other people, so you can actually say well not eveyrone has babies easily etc. Was it OK?

We're home been at my mum's since Xmas eve and I'm glad to be home! I'll be having a rest tomorrow! I've done everything. for three days. I don't mind my mum so much or mr B but my brother is the laziest arse in the universe. Didn't even take his x plate off the table.... Grrrrr

Bushy have you got a date through for your scan yet. How far are you? I'm 10 weeks exactly. Only had my booking in on Monday so I'm not sure how quickly they will process it.

Yes Nolly as Bushy says, step away from Dr Google! Very difficult, I know. Will you be able to get an early scan or owt? I keep getting asked by my 9yr old niece if I'm going to have a baby and she follows the questions up with many more questions also happy birthday for tomorrow! We are away to visit oh's family for a few days tomorrow, looking forward to a break at least. I've felt quite sad today and do not know why It's taken me ages to catch myself on!

nolly please don't google early miscarriage symptoms, it will do you no good whatsoever. Try & relax ( I know it is very hard to do!! At present we are veering between excitement and cynicism to protect ourselves. Dh's MIL was asking about my parents on Xmas day saying we should get together. Dh just said to me how about 2nd w/e of January ( after our 12 wk scan) I replied if it's good news, and he said that's all he's been thinking about & why he keeps asking me have I got any symptoms.

We watched cool runnings earlier in our jamas- love it!!

Evening all.....back home and watching trash tv which feels surprisingly good! Not sure why the Italian didn't go down well and no, I don't speak much but gave it a good shot.....perhaps it was the wrong thing to say?

Down regging is going ok, although the injections are stinging a little more than before. At least I get to stop taking the pill tomorrow!
