The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

*great = year

Gillster · 31/12/2014 22:12

I'm with you Lumen. I need a very healthy eating and exercise fuelled January to get back to where I was before 2 cancelled FETs.

Some lovely messages Berries and I echo the sentiment. Thanks for all of your support in the last year.

I hope we all get what we want the most very soon. Xxx

TheRainDrops · 31/12/2014 22:06

nolly I'm so so sorry, no words can really do justice to what this feels like. here for you if you need a shoulder, any time.

I'm wishing wholeheartedly for an amazing 2015 for all of us. it's been a great now since I joined you lovely lot and I don't know how I'd have coped without you.
We got our IVF referral yesterday so hoping for a March/April start now (time for a FUFC?!?) - in the meantime enjoying a peaceful break in Devon. Happy New year to all Berries, onwards and upwards ladies.

tigerdog · 31/12/2014 21:21

I really hope that 2015 is the year that all of us get our bfps. I wish you all a happy 2015, may all your dreams come true and the struggles of ttc become a distant memory. In the meantime, take comfort from the fact that you've been there when times have been shit, helped me when I've been lonely, laughed with me and understood things that none of my RL friends have. You're all wonderful!

Happy New Year Berries!

Gillster · 31/12/2014 21:13

hi all. looks like I'll be back here after I've got my head straight. sad news today at hospital. heading away from mn for a while but wanted to let you know. Thanks for all the support.

Pipbin · 31/12/2014 18:35

There is no way I could have got through all this without the berries.
Thank you ladies and happy new year.

TammySwanson · 31/12/2014 18:23

Gillster I had some investigation back in 2012, (HSG, bloods and a scan) which picked up some mild PCOS for which I'm taking Metformin. I managed to move from a postcode where I could have got one round of IVF this year to somewhere where I'm too old to qualify so I'm unlikely to go down that route unfortunately. I might go to my GP to see if I they can test bloods again as I'm not sure I've ovulated recently (usually get very obvious middleschmerz but not for a few months). I'm really not sure what they will agree to do since I turn 40 next year and already had some investigations.

Happy New Year to all! This is a particularly hard day for me and DH because it's exactly a year since we found out my pregnancy was non-viable (as if NYE isn't bad enough) but in a way I'm glad it's a clear year from that (well, I guess after the anniversary of the ERPC which is in about 10 days time). On to new things, new year and happier times!

greatbigbushybeard · 31/12/2014 17:07

Arrr hb & all the other messages- you made me well up a bit. I am so glad that I found this forum & that I had the guts to post on it. You've made me feel less alone, cheered me up, supported me, gave advice and geed me up when I needed it. Happy new year berries to each & every one of you. X x

lumen · 31/12/2014 16:50

I'm not starting today either wild, finishing 2014 with a nice bottle of wine, unhealthy food and ultimate Yahtzee with my dh, living it up!!!

WildflowerMarmalade · 31/12/2014 15:44

Beautiful list Gill - I will be long protocol and due to start mid-January.

HB microgynon is giving you spotting? Hmm What's all that about?

Happy New Year to you all and can I echo what beaky , HB and Trill said about really appreciating all the support. Me too, I don't know what I would have done without it.

We are heading out to friends locally later - they're picking us up and then we will walk/ merrily weave our way home. Looking forward to it as they are French and very into their good food and wine. Bon apetit, tout le monde.
Lumen I'll join you on your health kick to lose a few pounds / tone up - but not tonight.

beakybeak · 31/12/2014 13:27

An early Happy New Year to all lovely berries past and present! I hope 2015 brings us all everything we want especially our baby berries!
A big thanks from me as well for all of the kindness and support you've all shown me, I don't know what id have done without it.

I am off out tonight with dh and some friends, no taxis involved thank heavens but I am freezing at the thought of leaving the house!

Tiger no berry left behind! I am hopeful for a natural bfp ASAP for you, lady. Hope work goes quickly for you today.

trill nice to hear from you, hope you are ok. Do you have a date for the review app yet?

HB remind me why you're on the pill too, is it because of cysts? Glad to hear it's going ok, fx for your bed scan to start stimming. I may be asking for tips from you soon as I start dr on Monday. Eek.

Lumen boo to the cold, and I am with you for the healthy eating etc I really need to get in shape although I've probably left it a bit late for this cycle Xmas Confused hope you feel better soon anyway.

Hope everyone has a lovely evening!Wine Wine cheers!

lumen · 31/12/2014 11:54

I am still lurking too. Nothing to report since the fat lady started singing except that I have caught my dh's stinking cold so am holed up in bed. The next six weeks are going to be about eating healthy and exercising to shift all the excess weight I gained over two IVF cycles of no exercising and a Christmas of over indulging ConfusedConfused

Happy New Year berries, I hope 2015 is finally our year GrinThanks for all your support.

HampshireBlues · 31/12/2014 09:44

Tiger that is the funniest thing I have heard all week (sorry) Mr HB is now looking at me rather oddly for almost choking on my coffee!

Lady I can't believe how quickly things are going, feel free to stick around and give us all encouragement.

All ok here, merrily down regging. I've decided that I really didn't like microgynon though as I haven't had a single day where I haven't had some spotting. Oh well, scan one is planned for a week on Friday so hopefully we can move on to stimming this time Xmas Smile. I do, however now have two weeks off so am looking forward to hopefully switching off as next year is going to be a manic one.

If I don't get back to post later on, Happy New Year Berries. Thank you so much for supporting me for the last year, you have been there when so many of my real life friends have fallen by the wayside. I truly hope that 2015 brings us our BFPs

tigerdog · 31/12/2014 09:35

We do need a recruitment drive otherwise I'll just be posting to myself all the time! Although, once I start my new job I suspect I'll have less time to waste spend on MN.

What are you all doing for NYE? We are staying in, just the two of us, for the second year in a row. I always used to love going out, but with a hound that hates fireworks and both of us full of cold it just doesn't seem worth the effort! My plan is get through today in the office, make a mousakka, have a bath, eat dinner and then indulge in some prosecco and chocolates to see in the new year.

Trillium73 · 31/12/2014 09:27

Good morning all! I'm not posting much these days (nothing to report really) but still reading and trying to keep up with everyone Xmas Smile. Love the list gill can you add me please?? Still waiting for my review appointment after my failed IVF, will hopefully try again in the spring, also looking at other clinics (communication at my current clinic hasn't been great and it just adds to the stress!).

What's everyone up to for New Year? We're just having a quiet one, I'll struggle to stay up tbh!! Here's hoping 2015 is the year we all get our BFPs Grin
