Well as the title says :) I've chosen the worst time to get my act together and start my diet (again!!) I'm well overweight, in fact in classed as obese so I need to lose a tonne of weight. I know I need to be a healthy weight to conceive so there isn't much more of a motivator than the hope if a BFP :) I'm just counting calories until Christmas Eve (when we have our traditional Xmas eve meal of good old McDonalds!) and then back on track on the 27th when I will be returning to Slimming World.
If anyone fancies joining me, or even just to give me a kick up the arse, feel free :)

sorry for multiple posts... not sure what happened there and cannot seem to delete them!

congrats spamanderson

jellypi3 - congrats on starting the 30DS. you probably wont need to stop the exercise if you get a BFP - but check with your GP - because the 30DS exercise routine is probably not long enough to create dangerous conditions in your body. however depends if you have other risk factors.

When I was pregnant with DS1 I was told to do some excercise every day (ie raised heart rate for 30-60 minutes 7 days a week) and to stay weight neutral over the whole pregnancy, which I think means I should have lost weight in the 1st trimester because I struggled to not put any weight on during the latter stages of trimester 2 and failed completely in trimester 3!!!!!!

So next time I am going to continue to diet & exercise sensibly in trimester 1 to ensure I have room to manoevre in the rest of the pregnancy.... fingers crossed.

Think I'll join you in the 30 day shread. The Jillian Michaels one is on YouTube so i will chromecast it to the telly. Dh might join me, he was mentioning doing some more exercise.

itssangriaoclock · 01/01/2015 21:43

Yes we will honey

Good idea pixa not sure I would want to see those numbers written down. Coming to the end of my tww now only time will tell.

Whatever the outcome I still need to drop at least a stone, or if miracles do happen stay the same rather than pile the weight on like I did with ds

Stay in touch everyone let us all know how things are going

honeysucklejasmine · 01/01/2015 21:11

We're going to do it girls! If we did today, we can do tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that.

We can all be skinny yummy mummies this year! Grin

itssangriaoclock · 01/01/2015 20:58

I've started today, been v good. Even avoided KFC when work went to the drive through at lunch time. Going to make chicken noodle soup for dinner tomorrow.

Porridge for breakfast and maybe jacket potato for lunch.

Good luck everyone 0lb

Also need to buy scales before the 8th. I weighed myself Christmas Day so I'll take that as a starting weight

McFunky · 01/01/2015 20:51

Can I join? I want to lose weight before TTC, hopefully autumn this year. I have 4 stones to lose.

Happy New Year all!

booboobeedoo11 · 01/01/2015 13:49

Happy New Year! We still have a few 'gatherings' left so the 5th is gona be my fresh start. I love kettlebells and thought they really helped me tone and lose weight last time but I can't always get to the classes so I'm thinking I might buy one and just do it in the house. Plus we cancelled our gym membership as we're a bit strapped at the moment so it'll be kettlebells in the house and long walk/jogs with the dog. Actually really looking forward to this now!

Pixa · 01/01/2015 11:28

Happy New Year ladies. We have so much rubbish food left from Christmas! I am packing it all away today.

jelly, I will happily join you with the 30 Day Shred! Smile,

I am going to ask DH to take some photos and measurements at starting point and every two weeks to keep me motivated!

jellypi3 · 01/01/2015 11:05

Happy New Year :) I bought the 30 Day Shred DVD and some weights, so gonna crack that out today! Let's do this ladies!

honeysucklejasmine · 01/01/2015 11:00

Happy New year all! Today we are all at 0lbs. The only way is down! Grin

21questions · 01/01/2015 10:49

Happy new year everyone lets hope we all achieve what we set out to this year. 2015 shall be our year Smile

CoffeeTwo · 01/01/2015 09:54

Happy New Year ladies :)

I've got my first Slimming World class on Saturday but dreading stepping on the scales. I'm looking forward to focusing on this though, I can't control when I get pregnant but I can control my weight and being healthier will only help!

Orangeisthenewbanana · 01/01/2015 09:51

Happy New Year everybody! Feeling positive and motivated to shift this weight and get upduffed in 2015 Smile. We can do this!!

Weighed this morning and entered into mfp. Having a lazy start then going to take DD to the park so I can run around after her for a bit!

Lisbethel · 01/01/2015 08:34

Happy New year ladies! May I join you please? This sounds like the perfect thread for me. I came off the pill in July but AF hasn't returned - I have PCOS and I'm sure getting my BMI down will help as I am almost at 27 at the moment. I keep sabotaging myself by giving into my sweet tooth. I am going to try to go low GL.
Day 1 starts today- off to weigh myself now for the first time since Christmas :/...
I echo Mindful's wishes- may 2015 be filled with weight loss and BFPs for everyone!

MindfulBear · 01/01/2015 07:59

Good morning and happy new year!! May 2015 be full of happiness, fun, prosperity, good health and many successes in everything we all choose to do - #1 & #2 on the list - TTC & losing weight!

honeysucklejasmine · 31/12/2014 19:47

Welcome Bean! Good luck to you, we have strength in numbers. Smile
