Aaww bless him Lulu, sounds like DH is completely in love with DS :) watching films together already :p
And gosh well done u on the run!! I could never have managed it! Still can't Grin I do need to start swimming again tho, DS loves a swim too.

Steph do not worry :) honestly, u should see it as a positive thing, as that helps reduce pain in labour! Sounds silly but it does! If u think of the pain as good pain it doesn't seem bad, and once ur little on is here u'll forget about the worry of ur life changing because u won't be able to remember what ur life was life before :) for me labour was exciting I enjoyed the contractions lol!

Can't sleep tonight, starting to get worried about the delivery Blush
Starting to realise that our life will be totally different in a few days... and not so sure to be ready Confused

LuluJakey1 · 23/01/2015 23:06

DS is lying on our bed looking very alert and waiting for his daddy to come home from the pub. I am holding off as lng as possible with the bottle so we get more undisturbed sleep. He's not bothered as yet. He has been very cute today, we have had a smile and some pouty trembly lips and he has been on his mat having tummy time. He is trying to lift his head.

He watched a film with DH this afternoon (slept all the way through it but DH says they watched it together).

I went out for a run- just a short one and it knackered me but it felt good doing some gentle runnng again. There was lots of stopping and starting.

Cupcake92 · 23/01/2015 22:29

I hope he gets better really quickly ducky! He's been in the wars hasn't he! U all need a bit of a break bless u all.

My DS is still awake and will not go to sleep, DH is already in bed fast asleep and I'm desperate to go bed myself lol

That is what my friend's little girl had Ducky and she was really worried, I remember, and it took a good few days to get it under control but it improved quicklyonce they did. Hope DS improves soon.

She hasn't been ill lulu so it's come as a shock indeed. Its one of those cancers where once you get symptoms its already advanced. Luckily it hasn't spread yet which means they can give treatment a go, but it's a very aggressive cancer that doesn't respond well to chemo.

We are all close to her really, I know you shouldn't have a preference but she's a wonderful woman and is the core of that side of the family. I'm probably closer to my PIL than my own parents, they have nothing but kind words for everyone. This is the first grandchild for my PIL too, terrible timing. Just not what any of us pictured.

But we just have to focus on little milestones for now. I'm trying to remain as positive as I can because there are studies that show babies can feel their mothers emotion in the womb. Must think positive.

I hope your DS gets out of hospital soon ducky, you could use a break Wine

Ducky23 · 23/01/2015 08:26

Sorry siarie Sad how awful. Is he very close to dm?

I'm shattered Confused slept on a horrible mattress on the floor. They have turned ds oxygen down a bit this morning though Smile he's still got quite low oxygen though Sad

Cupcake92 · 23/01/2015 04:30

Sorry to hear that siarie Sad

LuluJakey1 · 22/01/2015 21:58

Sorry to hear that Siarie. That must have been an awful shock for you and DH. Has she been ill? Hope she gets effective treatment and gets rid of that horrible, cruel disease.

I have heard 4 pieces of bad news from people today, you, Ducky and two friends- one whose teenage son has been diagnosed with cancer for the second time. Awful.

Let's all hope for better days for everyone and a very quick recovery for little Ducklng.

What an evening, I hope your DS is alright Ducky!

So DH knows now, MIL has cancer and the outcome shes been given is 50/50 at the moment. But the long term prospects reduce year on year even with treatment.

Just going to have to focus on her being around for the birth but she has her operation scheduled for then (which also has major risks attached) and then hopefully we can still go to Australia at Christmas.

Cupcake92 · 22/01/2015 20:22

Oh Lulu u are funny Grin be careful u don't get another unexpected bfp :p

My DS had breathing problems once and he got given this medicine that was to help him breath :s they said he had croup tho? But if I'm honest it didn't seem like croup! Really hope DS is okay Ducky thinking of u all Flowers

Oh Ducky I really hope he get better very soon! Thanks Have you got someone there to support you?

LuluJakey1 · 22/01/2015 20:00

Oh Ducky, you have both been through the mill. I hopehegetsbetter really soon. You must be so worried. My friend's little girl had something similar called bronchiolitis. She was in hospital and her mum was so scared and worried but she was fine. Flowers

Yes Cupcake we used contraception....sort of. We did it again this afternoon Grin - we are feeling quite pleased with ourselves that we have managed it.

Sairie, hope things are ok. That does not sound good at all. Are you alright?

No smiles from DS today; not that we have seen anyway. I think he is rationing them. We have had a few trembly pouts but they have just been little whinges.
