Ducky, I despair at your DH. I don't know what to say except your DS is lucky he has you as his mum.

We have had a nice afternoon. DH said he was putting the decorations up and I got involved and we just had a lovely time together, reminiscing about some of them and putting ones that were my mum's up too. He hoovered up and we have opened a bottle of champagne and I have had two half glasses with fresh orange juice in it.

Then we sat at the table and wrote the cards we send- we only send them to close family and close friends, and he gave me my card which made me cry. I am so sorry I am horrible at the moment and what he wrote in the card was just so loving.

Anyway, pizza in the oven and all is well in our little world tonight. Long may it last.

Ducky23 · 14/12/2014 17:10

That's a hard one siarie, I think given the circumstances if my last birth and it being an induction, it's kind of hard to say. It was frustrating as I wasn't allowed to leave hospital the whole time. Sounds strange but my favorite bit was when the epidural wore off because I had no choice but to do it myself and I felt proud Smile but then it all seemed to go mental with the crash teams and episiotomy (sp?) and ds being whisked away which caused me so much distress.

Due to the cuts aswell I was unable to stand/sit/walk the day after even with pain releif. I was stuck in a wheel chair propped up in an awful position with loads of cushions but I got a beautiful beautiful son from it all who I am IN LOVE with Smile

It must be an amazing place for that money Siarie Shock You really wouldn't expect problems with the ac that's for sure.

Ducky hope you are ok now and Dh is helping you.

It has gone from the screen cupcake. I did an ic opk after and it was positive so it must have been right. It does say in the instructions to stop testing now though. It's not the dual hormone one I'm using just the normal one without flashing smilies. I'm supposed to be trialing the stork thingie so might try later on if dh is up to it Confused

Siarie · 14/12/2014 16:39

I am feeling much better today! The AC worked last night so I managed to sleep. Sadly I'm not joking about the price, so it's really bloody annoying that they haven't sorted it out until now just lucky it's only stopped working in the evenings a few times.

Last day today as we fly back tomorrow, pregnancy tiredness could be used as a form of torture!

Oh Ducky! I think men do cleaning badly so they don't get asked again Hmm. So I've been meaning to ask, how would you rate child birth? Perhaps up until your little one got stuck lol!

Lulu not long to go, try and hold the rage in lol big deep breaths!

Cupcake92 · 14/12/2014 15:20

Lulu I'm sure it'll pass once baby is here. Must be awful feeling like that Flowers

And 21 I think once u get a smiley it stays there for a few days so u can't actually test again? Mine stayed about 2 days on the screen when I did it.

Ducky that's rele silly of H to superglue when DS is there! I hope u gave him a good telling off!!

I am so so so angry I could cry AngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry

I spent all day asking h to mop kitchen floor (the one thing I have asked him to do) he eventually says he's done it, I go in and the floor is disgusting... He hadn't done it, so I went to go and do it, leaving ds in his Moses basket in the lounge, h was watching telly... Came back in to find h super glueing something with all doors and windows closed and the smell was ridiculous. I went light headed AngryAngryAngryAngryAngry I went mad and ran round opening all the windows and doors. Am now sitting by an open window with ds wrapped up.

What the actual fuck is wrong with people Confused

Ducky23 · 14/12/2014 10:44

Sorry 21 I have no idea but would DTD 3 days in a row Wink

Lulu, I'm sure it's just your hormones, it will probably pass shortly after the birth. Luckily you have an understanding h, mine has been the opposite. I felt very up and down after the birth due to tre whole hormone thing, I cried and apologised for being weird to him but he just told me 'your just nasty' Hmm

21questions · 14/12/2014 10:36

Morning well I did my first cb digital this morning cd9 smily face wish I started using them yesterday just didn't expect ov this early. We dtd early hours don't know if dh will be up for it again Grin. It says to stop testing once you get a smiley but it's my first test? Any advice?

Glad you have some symptoms cupcake makes it seem more real for you.

Ds sounds like an angel ducky he must be really content.

Sorry things are still not great lulu. I guess all you can do is give it time and see if you start to feel differently. Take care of yourself Flowers

LuluJakey1 · 14/12/2014 09:18

I have spoken to the midwife. She said it not uncommon to feel very focussed on yourself and not wanting to be bothered with DH. Said it is part of the body preparing for birth and baby being most important things in life. Thought my mum dying and Christmas coming and me still doing my job was adding to stress.

I felt a bit better when I woke up and he brought some tea and stayed and we had a cuddle and a chat. He has gone out on his bike with his pal and I am going to have a bath. Can feel my niggliness rising.

Cupcake92 · 14/12/2014 08:48

I'm glad I have symptoms too! Grin I feel so excited! :) I feel completly different to last time! I mean I was excited last time but nothing like this. I think I just knew something was wrong before. But I'm keeping my fx for this little bean :)

And we'll done to ur DS ! :) he seems like such a good little baby! I wish my DS was like that Grin for 9 weeks straight he woke up every 2 hours

Glad your feeling positive Smile I knew this would be your month!! Grin And (sorry but..) glad you have symptoms, a symptomless pregnancy can be worrying.

Ds was an angel last night. Only got up a couple of times to feed, had his nappy changes once and was quite quick to settle SmileSmileSmileEnvyEnvy

Cupcake92 · 14/12/2014 05:12

The party was good thanks Lulu :) as usual DS had fun with his older cousins trying to chase after them Grin
And Lulu I agree with Ducky, maybe speak to ur midwife about how ur feeling as she'd be able to give u the right advice etc. she might be able to help u feel better. But I hope u feel better soon Flowers

Ducky, DS has slept! Me on the other hand.... My pg hormones are just kicking in!!!! Sad woke up to pee twice and woke up now feeling very nauseous! Grinbut I'm glad to have some symptoms!! Grin feeling very positive this time round :)

How DS doing Ducky?

Ducky23 · 13/12/2014 23:26

Hope he sleeps cupcake! Smile

Siarie...£700!?!? That's more than my mortgage a month!

Lulu, sorry your still feeling like this... Hope it passes.'have you spoke to your midwife about it?

LuluJakey1 · 13/12/2014 22:54

And this was supposed to be such a lovely Christmas for us- alone, baby nearly here, just doing what we liked.

The three isn't up or anything. I just can't be bothered with any of it.

LuluJakey1 · 13/12/2014 22:52

Evening Cupcake. Was the party good?

I hope DS sleeps tonight and you get some rest.

I just can not get over my irritation with DH. I can't shrug it off the way I usually do. I am dreading spending Christmas with him. I would like him to go to his parents and leave me here but know he will be furious and heartbroken if I suggest it. I am still in my own room. Been shopping today then had a snooze. Have vented on a couple of other threads about other things Grin

Cupcake92 · 13/12/2014 22:46

Omg Siarie ! £700 per night?? Are u joking? I'd never pay that a night! I don't even make that in a month! Shock

So happy to be in bed now!! Just pray DS sleeps through!!

Siarie · 13/12/2014 19:15

I'm so tired, our air con has been cutting out since we arrived at the resort. But the last few nights it's been doing it at night time. Last night it went at 12pm right after the maintenance people had gone home so I didn't sleep hardly at all. They're are trying to fix it now but it would have been nice to have it done at the start of the holiday, we're going home Monday.

I think I'm handling my pregnancy rage quite well, I haven't shouted at anyone yet. Not what you expect when you're paying £700+ per a night!

Sorry to hear your backs hurting cupcake, the bloating is probably causing it. Try and keep your hips level, kind of like your pulling your hips up from the front as it takes the pressure off your spine.

Cupcake92 · 13/12/2014 15:59

Nice to see everyone found the thread! Grin

I've got such a bad backache Confused right at the bottom of my back. And I've been very bloated today!
Off to my cousins bday party tonight with DS. But im so tired lol DH is working tonight so can come home after and relax in peace :)

Ducky23 · 13/12/2014 12:21

I cleaned when I first got home, I had no other choice Hmm but he has been doing bits.

I'm still sore from the cut but am starting to feel better Smile

LuluJakey1 · 13/12/2014 08:57

Well done Cupcake and thank you!

Ducky, everything will be new to him. He will soon recognise smells and things and know these are his and settle. He is probably a bit unnerved by it at night. Don't worry. How are you doing? Has DH cleaned up the mess he made?

I am off to post cards and presents and pick up some parcels from the Post Office. See you later.
