Sorry I haven't been on for a while, have been a bit under the weather - am 30 weeks now, still working full-time and looking after DD. Just overdone it a bit I think. Glad to be off for 2 weeks for Christmas now.

Sorry to hear about your issues with 'D'H Ducky. I think you're right about re-evaluating in the New Year. DP and I are having issues too :(. He has OCD, which at the moment means he is struggling to throw things away. So our house is piling up with stuff and I'm scared it won't be safe (or pleasant) for me to be on mat leave with 2 small DC. He's trying really hard but it's just such a mess here :( I really wanted to talk to the midwife about it, but I find her really unapproachable.

Also means despite being 30 weeks I'm still doing all the cooking, washing, shopping etc when all I want to do is sleep. And then getting insomnia when I am in bed Confused

Good luck with the scan cupcake, hopefully it will all be fine Flowers

poppet85 · 21/12/2014 22:47

Cupcake I had just that at about 6 weeks I went in to the epu for an early scan and we could see a tiny heart bleeping away . The dr was lovely and understanding and it really helped put my mind at rest . I am sure its the same for you but get it checked out to put your mind at rest for christmas

Cupcake92 · 21/12/2014 21:20

Okayy I'll try not to worry and just call up tomorrow and see what they say. I'm at work tomorrow which will be good as it'll help take my mind off it and I get to relax in a nice office chair at the computer.
It's just so shocking how different It is compared to my pregnancy with DS. I never worried or anything ! And just always presumed things were gonna be normal at every scan! I even brought a bunch of baby things when I was only 9 weeks pregnant!

Ducky, I hope ur alright, like I said u deserve happiness. No one should speak horribly of u and think it's okay Sad DH should see the great in u and be in awe of u everyday. There's someone like that for everyone Flowers

I had some brown bloody stuff Cupcake for two days, bit later than you are. I ended up with an afternoon at the hospital and a scan and some blood tests. I think I was about 12 weeks. The Dr was lovely and said at that point there is massively i creased blood flow to uterus and the end of some fine blood vessels occasionally leaks and it had taken a few days to 'escape'. The scan was fine.

Try not to worry, it is old and you aren't in pain and it isn't heavy bleeding. Ring your EPU tomorrow.

Ducky- just think of your lovely little boy and ignore DH. I wouldn't put up with him bitching about me.

Cupcake92 · 21/12/2014 20:42

Thanks everyone. Flowers im just panicking as im not sure I could handle another miscarriage. But I'll still call up epu and see if I canget my scan brought forward.

I think it sounds like old blood cupcake. I know it must be awfully worrying for you but I think they say it should be ok as long as there's no bright red blood and pain. Give them a call tomorrow, I had my first scan at 6+2, I couldn't see much, just like a baked bean (Grin) but they saw the HB, and that baked bean is now lying on top of me giving me a dead arm Grin

Siarie · 21/12/2014 19:57

I had a tiny amount of brown blood around the same time, just blood left from implantation. In fact my 8 week scan showed it up so relax cupcake. Honestly what will be will be and you can't change it.

We're built to be like this. Sad but true, chances are you'll be alright and the blood won't be there tomorrow.

Cupcake92 · 21/12/2014 19:51

I'm gonna call up epu tomorrow, my Mw told me too call up between 6 and 8 weeks to book scan, but call sooner if I have any blood or pain.

I'll be 6 weeks on Tuesday. I've not had any cramping or anything like that. Nothing feels wrong. But it's worrying me now Sad just want things to be okay

It's a mortgage Confused he was texting him
Because I said I don't want him drunk around ds and smoking around him so he sent all these texts saying because I have had his kid I think I can control him and keep him prisoner and asking what the other persons wife is like regarding smoking and drinking Confused he said she lets him as long as he's in the other room so of course h starts on about what a bitch I am.

Oh gosh cupcake I have no idea, how many weeks are you now? I've read loads of threads on here about people bleeding and everything being fine.

Would think that as it's brown it's old blood and would be ok? Could you ring your mw?

Cupcake92 · 21/12/2014 19:30

I need help!!!!!!!! SadSadSadSad
Tmi but I went to the loo and when I wiped I have brown bloody discharge! Only the once when I wiped the first time. I'm so scared! Sad what if I'm loosing this baby??? Sad

Yes Ducky- hormones seemed to shift at the start of last week and I am back to myself with him. It is very strange and I am just so grateful he takes it all in his stride. I was so awful but I just could not get my head around my bizarre emotions. He didn't deserve any of it- except the bit of a fall-out that started it off (which normally would have provoked a few minutes row and him apologising and it being forgotten about in 10 minutes).

Hopefully the moodiness I have had will stop once my hormones settle down after the baby arrives. We are not a couple who argue and we try really hard to treat each other with kindness and love. We get on well and love spending time together. But I have had 3 or 4 of these moodies since I got pregnant and I have just been awful to live with when I have had them.I have been quite scared by how I have felt because I am usually easy going.

Anyway, he put up with it and we are back to normal and he is just as loving and just forgave me. I would have found it much harder to forgive if it had been the other way round.

He is still doing whatever it was he was doing yesterday afternoon with bits of paper and a big jar. Hmm

Do you have a joint mortgage or joint tenancy? If it is a tenancy, he either pays or goes. It is that simple.

Cupcake is right- you should see a solicitor and get some advice. Because you are married, he would have to pay maintenance for DS. If it is a mortgage you have, you could keep the house until DS leaves school! I can't believe what he has done. Why was he being nasty about you to someone else? That us just awful.

Cupcake92 · 21/12/2014 17:42

Ducky that's awful!! Flowers go and speak to a solicitor and they can tell u exactly what would happen and who would get what. He'd only legally be entitled to half. BUT! If u can prove that ur the one paying the mortgage by either receipt or on ur bank statement and shown he's not paid at all for the house then u are legally able to keep the property as he's not contributed.
Honestly Ducky go and speak to a solicitor as they can tell u exactly what to expect, then make ur choice from there.
U deserve to be happy and in a happy home. U and baby.

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 21/12/2014 15:25

It's in joint names, even though he has never made a single payment. Confused

Oh well, what ever happens I have my babies Smile

Are you feeling any better towards DH recently lulu?

LuluJakey1 · 21/12/2014 13:13

Ducky- what a shit! Has he no loyalty at all?

And if his family are so wealthy why doesn't he pay for anything? I am so angry for you! Do you own the house? If not, there won't be much to split. If he has money though, you are entitled to half.

That is just disgusting about text messaes being horrible about you. All the horrible things I have done to DH recently and how sad and upset he was and he has not told anyone, even his mum or sister who he is really close to. I asked him why he hadn't and he said 'It's our business, no one elses's and you just weren't yourself. I knew you loved me really'.

Ducky, I am just so upset for you. Has your DH no integrity or conscience? That is just horrible of him.

Sorry, I need to calm down.

Flowers
Ducky23 · 21/12/2014 11:37

He would be too stubborn to leave lulu Confused and id be screwed over because his family are very very wealthy and legally minded so would end up getting everything, that terrifies me Confused will see how it goes over x mas some days I think he's changed and he seems nice then it all goes back to how he is.

I know I shouldn't have but I looked at his phone last night, he has been texting one of our mutual friends saying some pretty nasty stuff about me Hmm but I can't say I know cus he'd know I looked at his phone Hmm

Good your feeling positive cupcake Grin

Cupcake92 · 21/12/2014 08:40

Having a supportive partner is do important. But maybe have a chat with him Ducky first? Men doesn't always get our hints, they need to be told directly.

Me and DH have had a really nice day, he's off work now (only went back for three days) since the holiday but it's going to be great. I love spending time together, he's my best friend and it feels like Christmas has kicked in now.

Tori sorry to hear you are still feeling well, honestly I know how you feel and nothing anyone says will make you feel better. But it will get better, one day you'll wake up and realise you feel sort of normal.

LuluJakey1 · 20/12/2014 16:11

Yes, big hugs Ducky. We aren't having anyone smoking in here- we don't now and don't actually have any family or close friends who smoke. And the baby is not going to anyone's house where there is smoking.

Your DH doesn't get it does he. You have said it for months, he just does not do the things you need a partner to do. You and DS are what is most important now- and the dogs.

If you decide it is over, can't you keep the house and stay and him leave? You pay for everything so why should he stay?

Anyway, just try and get through Christmas and have a lovely time with DS and give yourself a bit of time to get used to being a mum before you decide.

Cupcake, how many weeks are you now? I feel really odd because last weekend I was just coming round to DH again and now he's back to being my bees' knees - these mood swings are scarey.

I have no idea what he is up to. He is sitting in the other sitting room with a pile of bits of paper writing things on them all and folding them up. I am not allowed in. Xmas Smile He's got one of the big preserving jars I usually make sloe gin in. God knows what it is about. Some silly Christmas Day quiz I bet- I always win.

I am tucked up on the sofa with a blankie and two cats watching a film about Princess Margaret.

Cupcake92 · 20/12/2014 15:06

Big hugs Ducky Sad
It's not nice having smoke near baby, I hated DH smoking and stinking of it when he came in and we lived in a flat and he sometimes had one over the balcony when I was in bed. I'd smell it in the morning still lingering and I'd go mental at him!
It was hard for me to stop smoking, I started again a few months belfry TTC but stopped again as I wanted a baby and disn't want to make my body bad. DH has cut down, he will only smoke if he's out or on breaks at work. He doesn't smoke at home anymore.
Could u suggest that to DH? Maybe not smoke when he's at home?

I'm so tired, I need a wee all the time and ive got backache Grin but I'm so glad I'm pregnant! Smile honestly this is the best Xmas present ever, can't wait for my scan, even tho im nervous im still very excited! Grin

There's lots of things, I think he thinks he can carry on all his things as he did before ds (drinking/going out/smoking like a chimney etc) but I just want what's best for my baby Confused I stopped smoking when I was pg, I'm so so so tempted to have a ciggarette and finding it really difficult but I don't because thts money that can be spent on ds and it wouldn't be nice for him to smell that all the time , h now smokes more, coming in stinking and touching ds and I get so angry Angry maybe I'm just over sensitive ATM.
It's also like he doesn't care about me at all, he never says anything nice to me, we never kiss or anything.

Cupcake92 · 20/12/2014 13:42

Tori I hope u feel better soon! :( it's good work are being nice to u and said u can cut ur hours of u need to.

Lulu sounds like ull have a lovely Xmas :) nice and peaceful! And he's temperarily stopped the army application as he's got quite a good job atm and is happy :)

thanks Ducky! And why do u think ill need to leave? :(
U and ur babys happiness is the most important. Children can sense tension too trust me, Jayden always changes behaviour when me and DH have been on bad terms. He doesn't sleep well or eat and is very mischievous. He always know lol.

Oh Ducky. What has happened to make you realise that? Horrible time to feel so bad with Christmas and DS so young.

Your little boy sounds so sweet and good. I hope mine is like that.

Ducky23 · 20/12/2014 10:29

Glad your enjoying your job cupcake.

I have realised, after x mas I really need to look at my relationship and see whether we can continue Hmm I just don't know where I could go with baby and dogs if anything happens.Hmm

Love my little boy and don't want him having to be stuck in this wierd atmosphere. It's not fair on him.

Hope you start to feel better soon tori
