That must be so difficult for you lulu, I would be lost without my mom. Are you feeling better towards DH now?

Tori hope you have a good day tomorrow. Sounds very festive Smile

What is your work like on Christmas Day? it is one of those jobs that is every day isn't it but Christmas must be special there.

I feel a bit better actually. Have had a shower and some soup and the cats are in heaven because DH has given them my portion of chicken. I am going to have some custard later.

I have been a bit weepy because of my mum as well- first Christmas without her and that is hard.

But I have got my big girl pants on - and they are big at the moment [ fgrin] and DH is just being lovely and cheering me up.

Awww, DS's little chubby feet are so cute Cupcake and he looks so laid back there.

DH has got himself very worried and drove me toGP - about 250m because I feel so weak. He insisted we saw my GP. She is so nice. The place was empty apart from people picking up late prescriptions.

She thinks I have a virus. Nothing to worry about, not an infection. Baby is fine and not budging. Was very lively and heartbeat very good. My BP was fine and my temp. Said just to take things easy, drink plenty of fluids, eat light stuff when I feel up to it but not to worry about lack of appetite. Baby has plenty of fat by now and won't be hurt by me. not eating for 48 hours.

So I am tucked up on the sofa with a throw and a cat and a cup of tea. DH is scoffing the last of the fresh cream sponge from yesterday.Christmas lights on and we are watching Great Expectations Xmas Grin

Cupcake92 · 24/12/2014 15:42

Bless u lulu hope u feel better in time for Xmas day.

I'm okay, think things have sunk in for DH as he has been a bit off today.

I'm just about to leave for the snowdome now! We could only get a booking late afternoon. But Starbucks for after will be good!! :)

Merry Xmas eve everyone! :) xx

I am still not well. I am just exhausted and achey. Feel like I have been hit by a steamroller and I feel sick at the sight of food. I actually slept last night. Have manged two cups of tea ths mornng and some water but it is Monday night since I ate aything.

We set out to go for a walk and got about 50m along the bridleway and had to come back. I was just bone weary. However, have not been sick ad my tummy is settling- not running to the loo.

I am going to try Heinz Tomato soup at tea time- comfort food!

Ducky23 · 24/12/2014 09:32

I think the hospital I go to does it at the 20 week scan but only then.

Realy wish they would make it so you can see pics on the app! I feel like I'm missing out lol!

Hope you have a nice time cupcake Smile I learnt to ski there Grin

Siarie · 24/12/2014 09:00

He lools really cuddly cupcake! Christmas must be super special with children

Siarie · 24/12/2014 08:59

That's what I was talking about, my hospital only did it because of my health conditions. But it must have taken them like an extra two minutes? I wondered if it helped for that.

Merry Christmas Eve everyone by the way! X

Cupcake92 · 24/12/2014 08:40

Wow that's teally good of ur hospital poppet! Wish ours did that at the 20 week scan! I think it would help a lot of people if they did!
My auntie had a still born at 37 weeks. And that also happened overnight. It was awful. The funeral was so upsetting. She'd had previous misscarriage's also but she also has 2 other children one was born after her still born. It's sad. They go to his grave every year on his bday as they've moved away now, but always come back for his bday.

I've added a pic. It's DS sat in between the settee and pufeè (sp??) with his feet up eatin his toast haha :) he's amazing. He's my miracle!

and Ducky I hope there's not anymore snowdomes!! Confused takes me 45 mins to get there Grin

I heard about that programme poppet, I couldn't watch it but am glad more people are becoming aware of still births.

Cupcake the snow dome isn't far from me! Smile Unless there's more than one. Ha

poppet85 · 23/12/2014 23:36

There was a horizon programme on a few weeks ago about still births I didnt watch it but they said a large number could be prevented if they did a scan to test blood flow to the placenta at the 20 week scan . Luckily my hospital is one of only 2 or 3 in the country that offer it as part of the 20 week scan .
Babies really are our little miracles . Cupcake give your ds an extra squeeze tonight !

Cupcake92 · 23/12/2014 23:02

I'm so lucky to have him Lulu. He's one beautiful boy and so amazing and clever. I love him so much!
I let him cuddle on the sofa till he fell asleep tonight. He's made me feel better today :)
Tomorrow we are off to the snowdome to do some snow play :) Can't wait!

You are lucky to have DS Cupcake. He always sounds such a little sweetie.

Am glad you are having a lovely time with him and DH. You deserve it.

Cupcake92 · 23/12/2014 19:57

No don't need to go back. Everything has already happened. I knew it had. She said take a pregnancy test in 1-2 weeks time and it should be negative. And to ttc straight away. I saw her last time and she's lovely, she told me to go for it and she wants to see me back for an early scan next time and wants to see a little heart beating! She said it'll happen for us and is looking forward to seeing all with a healthy baby :)

Having a lovely evening with DH and DS. I'm so lucky I hae DS. He really is my darling angel like I always call him :)

40 weeks on Jan 4th Steph. D Day.

LuluJakey1 · 23/12/2014 19:50

I am feeling unwell again, hot and cold at the same time and so achey. The bowels seem to have stoppedbut my tummy is sore. I don't feel sick.Am wondering if it was prawns I ate last night. DH didn't have any and he is ok. I haven't eaten all day because I feel grotty.

PIL and family were lovely but I was glad when they left. DH has done everything today. I have just preformed while they were here.

steph1204 · 23/12/2014 19:49

Hi ladies!
I'm finally in ML and had the time to read the previous posts :)

Cupcake, I'm so sorry for you... I don't know what to say, I'm really sad for you and hope you'll nevertheless have a nice christmas with DH and DS. By the way, how did DH react? Is he supportive? Lots of hugs! Flowers

Ducky, the loss of DD must have been awful... It's not easy not get worried after reading your story, but I'm happy to know that even after such difficult moments, you managed to conceive a second and lovely child, your healthy DS! :)

Lulu, I hope you will have a good night of sleep! It's amazing to think that your little boy will soon be in your arms! When is your term precisely? :)

Bears, I know our pregnancy are very close, but could you remind me your term?

I had my 32 weeks scan today. My cervix is still reduced: only 19mm. But my doctor doesn't seem preoccupied. He told me to keep calm and my DH is being very supportive. He did the laundry and the cooking today. My baby is also really active and that is reassuring. My next scan will be in January, at 36 weeks. I'm just a bit scared as we will spent new year in Italy and have to make a 5 hours road trip to get there, I hope everything will be allright.

LuluJakey1 · 23/12/2014 18:36

I have just had an hour's sleep on the sofa. DH put a throw over me. I feel slightly better for that.
