He was 8 1.5 when he was born, he was last weighed a week ago and was 10lb!

Think he's being weighed again tomorrow. Smile

Have you managed toget more sleep?

Cupcake92 · 03/01/2015 08:11

Ds is wonderful thanks cupcake Grin he's still up at least every 2 hours in the night though! And I have got him on infacol so he thinks I'm the devil!

He's getting heavy aswell!

Cupcake92 · 02/01/2015 22:40

Lulu his name is beautiful :) great choice!!
Enjoy the 2 weeks just u and DS, it's magical just spending mother and son time together.

Ducky how is ur DS? How's H been with him?

For some reason my stomach is very tender tonight. If I press on it or lie on it, it hurts. I think I just need a good nights sleep if I'm honest! Grin

We have decided on Joseph Guy. Joseph after my dad, and his dad and his dad and Guy is DH's middle name and his dad's middle name and was his grandad's christian name.

So he is Joseph/Joe.

He spends his days eating, peeing, pooping, sleeping, snuffling and studying his hands! Doesn't cry much at all yet. Loves cuddles. He has a seriously cute face and DH is just an absolute push-over already. We had a little squabble this afternoon over who was going to do the bottle and get the cuddle. He won Grin

We have decided he is going to work on Monday for two weeks and will then take his two weeks paternity leave and will be back at work for 2 weeks and it will be half term so he'll have another week with him then. So I am by myself from Monday. Am quite looking forward to it- I will have all the cuddles then Grin

Ducky23 · 02/01/2015 19:24

I second the Joseph Smile Sam is nice too but you've liked Joseph from the start haven't you?

Cupcake92 · 02/01/2015 18:10

I like Joseph Lulu ! He definately looks like a Joseph! :)

I like mason and Theo :)
And I like Molli and Rosie for girls Grin I have mine all sorted haha just need my baby now! A sticky baby :)

Siarie I can't put one up Hmm I only have the app I just saw the others by googling the thread, I tried to get my log in and password to go online but they said I wasn't registered :-/

bradders85 · 02/01/2015 16:12

Lovely to see some baby photo's! :) I am not looking forward to the prospect of choosing names me and dp just seem to struggle to agree!

Siarie · 02/01/2015 15:07

Ducky you haven't uploaded a picture of your DS? Or did I miss it. No doubt he is also a little stunner!

Siarie · 02/01/2015 15:06

Lulu and Cupcake both your DS's are adorable. Makes me excited to meet my little girl now, so I can see her face.

Me and DH have started on the nursery today. We built the dresser and have moved things around so I finally have somewhere to put her clothes.

We're sorting the cotbed last as she's sleeping in a hammock in our room to start with. Totally knackered now, I think we will both end up having an afternoon nap later!

Hope everyone else is having a nice day.

iamdivergent · 02/01/2015 14:51

Yay! Smile

LuluJakey1 · 02/01/2015 14:22

Iam. I like Jacob but we know a not very nice Jake and can't get past that. We had Thomas on the list at one point along with Isaac but they have sort of faded.

Sam is growing on us and Joe is still there. I think we are down to those two now. The ee at the end of Charlie just doesn't go with our surname.

He looks like a Sam or a Joe I think Smile

TMI I have managed my first poo. DH had to stand outside the loo door whilst holding the Pud to reassure me!

iamdivergent · 02/01/2015 10:09

cupcake your ds is so cute, you can really see how similar he is in the pics. He has such a head of hair too, dd2 has such soft wispy baby hair still at 6!

iamdivergent · 02/01/2015 10:08

Lulu I love Charlie but it's very popular here so it's not one we would use. For a short traditional name we liked Sam (Samuel) and Tom (Thomas) I also like Jake (Jacob) too Grin

LuluJakey1 · 02/01/2015 09:24

Cupcake, you can still see that baby in him though- the shape of the hair and his face, he just looks more 'defined now'. He is a very handsome little boy and very good.

Ducky- He is so sweet, I know, but he still does not have a name. We go round and round Charlie, Guy and Joseph. We decided on Joseph Guy last night and now we aren't sure. Guy Joseph or Charles Guy or Guy Charles.

DH's surname has an 'Y' at the end, pronounced as in Hattersley , short 'ee'. I suppose it is my surname as well but I don't use it, I use my own. Anyway, Charlie has that same sound at the end which we aren't sure about. I love Guy but if DS doesn't, he is stuck with it as it can't be shortened. We really like Joseph as well but just can't decide. Samuel has now emerged as well- from nowhere. He needs a name. We are calling him Pud at the moment.

Cupcake92 · 02/01/2015 08:15

Woohoo Ducky ! U can see! Grin
And thank u! :) he was a chunky one! He's thinned out a bit now, I'll attach a photo, u can see a huge difference and he looks so different now!!!

Lulu ur DS just looks so content!

Everyone here is in bed and I'm off to work! :(

He's so cute! Ahhhh

Ducky23 · 01/01/2015 20:44

Wish I could see Confused

Cupcake92 · 01/01/2015 20:29

Haha Lulu ur reaction made me laugh!! Grin he was born at 40+2 weeks. I went into early labour at 32 weeks but had it stopped, had steroid injections to mature his lungs but I blame them for his size as me and DH were tiny 6lb babies when we were born. DS was 8lb 13oz. Yea he was a huge baby Grin im tiny as well so was super big for me! I had an epidural with him for labour! But yes he was too large to push out. Grin
And don't worry Lulu it'll definately disappear in a few days. Get it all out ur system :) ur DS is so adorable tho!!!
