Looking for a TTC buddy!

Hello! I'm needing a TTC buddy as I'm finding myself constantly over thinking things and it's driving my husband mad so would be great to discuss it with someone else in the same boat!

I'm TTC baby number 3. I came off the pill 3 days ago and I'm very impatient, want to get started right now! Anyone else in a similar situation want to buddy up?

Looking for a TTC buddy!

Thanks river. Hope all goes well with doctors results.

I deliberately delayed testing until the date of longest AF. I figured it wouldn't change the outcome but minimised the risk of BFN if AF was just slow to arrive. Took a lot of will power though!

IfYouWereARiverIdLearnToFloat · 19/01/2015 23:40

Congratulations manderley!! That's fab news!

I survived hen weekend! Was so much fun and exactly what I needed. And now AF is officially late. She arrived CD 27 last month and CD 26 month before so should have been here yesterday or today and now I'm trying not to completely freak out. My cycles started at 34 days when I came off the pill this time last year but they've got shorter and shorter as times gone on.

Had my thyroid levels checked last week and now 4 missed calls from GP today which I slept through so something's obviously up there... trying to keep positive - maybe my thyroxine dose needs to go up to help me shift the Christmas pounds?

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 19/01/2015 18:35

Evening all!
Just got back from the doctors where I got my Hep A jab...and a flu one thrown in for free...
5 weeks today and generally feeling ok so far. Have appt booked with the doctor on 2nd feb, all starting to feel very real (though still not completely convinced its true!).

Stir, presume we both come under John Radcliffe?

Stircrazy1984 · 19/01/2015 18:31

Hi Boyle, week 5 and doing well thank you Smile had breasts and nipple tingles and pain on and off, painful bloating, trapped wind, very gassy, period type pains...spoke to the doc and he said unless youre in pain and youre bleeding consider everything to be Ok. Have gotten thrush though (sorry TMI) but apparently its very common in pregnancy. Of course concerned about things going wrong but taking it a day at a time.

I must say Boyle...your symptoms do sound very pregnancy related. I have everything crossed for you xx

cantbelieveimdoingthisagain · 19/01/2015 15:00

Oh I wish. Pretty certain that it's the copious amounts of wine that I consumed though. Got terrible heartburn from it too.

Oh how exciting. Lots of people get +ve FRERs at 10dpo!

I just text him to tell him about the ewcm - he's thrilled. Seriously, I have an exam, an interview and DD's dancing exam this week, and 2 assignments due next week. I asked DH if he can do it while I am sleeping tonight because I am just exhausted Hmm BlushGrin

Boyle1884 · 19/01/2015 14:53

Ahh bless. You might be feeling irritable because it's your turn and hormones all over the place! Keep smiling.

I've just popped to boots to get frer so will do tomorrow or Wednesday... Just had ewcm that was peachy colour sorry tmi! What the hell is that all about?! I'm 9dpo so far to early to test and IF it was implantation that won't show up for days surely.
You've dtd an amazing amount of times! Your lucky oh. You aren't out until the witch comes! Grin

cantbelieveimdoingthisagain · 19/01/2015 14:14

I spoke too soon. More EWCM. I have been having this since January 6th on and off now. Had enough of this :( Literally don't know where I am going to find the energy for any more! yes I still fell hungover, tired and grumpy

cantbelieveimdoingthisagain · 19/01/2015 13:28

You're definitely doing a frer!!

Weekend was lovely, too much food and drink, I suffered a little yesterday and still very tired today. overdosing on water and antioxidants too!! I think I am officially in TWW now as ewcm has disappeared. Thankfully, I need a few days off. I am literally shagged out Blush - I totted up our dtd this cycle... 21 times so far since 27th December!!!! Jeeeez. And to think I am only just in my TWW...

Boyle1884 · 19/01/2015 11:24

Hi Can't... Still hanging in there and manically symptom spotting. Been nauseous and bloated all weekend and couldn't eat my bran flakes today! Ha! Af due Friday but tempted to do a frer tomorrow am, can't help myself. Hope your weekend was lovely?!

Maderley, stir, boo how you all feeling?!

cantbelieveimdoingthisagain · 19/01/2015 08:27

Well that's lovely news manderley Flowers - sorry for the delay, have had a busy weekend. You must be so thrilled! This really is a lucky thread! How are you feeling?

How is everybody else? Any news? Boyle you still hanging in there?

All quiet over here in TWW. Should have been due to test on Friday this week but delayed ovulation this month, so don't think I will be due to test earliest next Wednesday. So more of a three week wait! Meh.

NurseDoctor · 17/01/2015 10:35

Manderley congratulations!!!

Boyle1884 · 16/01/2015 20:34

Manderley* bloody predictive text!!

Boyle1884 · 16/01/2015 20:34

Wow Maderley... Congratulations!!!!!!!!! Flowers

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 16/01/2015 20:06

Thanks all! Still totally shocked!

Also ridiculously anxious...I just sneezed and wondered if that would have dislodged it!

Yikes...can't believe it!

babsbunny · 16/01/2015 19:55

Looking for a TTC buddy!
babsbunny · 16/01/2015 15:43

Ps...sorry for the thesis. I'm on a train on my way home and it's my quiet, guilt free baby obsessing time Grin

babsbunny · 16/01/2015 15:42

Hi Boyle. I know, I would love a glass of wine after the last two weeks in work! I have been abstaining since the new year Sad. However it all seems worth when I think about potential baba!

Nurse, I have bought stuff for all my friends now as I am officially the last to get this show on the road. DH is sick of me stopping him in shops to look at little dresses and stuff. I worked in mothercare in uni, so I'm a bit of a baby supply geek. Think it really freaks out DH!

Hi can't. congrats on the blood results. Yup first time doing this thing and I'm so giddy. Trying not to talk to anyone about it, even sister whom I tell everything. Both her and our mum conceived twice each first time, so no pressure to keep up the family fertility Hmm.

I felt sick when I woke up today. I know it's probably nothing related. But I was never so excited before over feeling ill! I also have a achy tummy, but I usually get all manner of ov cramps and pms cramps and then af cramps, that cramp free time is more abnormal!

I have two Sainsburys hpts on my coffee table taunting me. But still 7 days till af due, so trying to resist temptation....

Girl339 · 16/01/2015 15:35

cantbelieve it's good to hear I'm not the only one who likes to waste £5 by POAS for no reason! The tests are so expensive!

Girl339 · 16/01/2015 15:33

Hi boyle, OMG I'm definitely manically symptom watching, though trying not to as I was convinced I had all the symptoms last month and turned out I wasn't pregnant at all. Latest 'symptoms'- waking in the night needing the loo, kind of bloated and cramping...think that's it for now Grin Not testing again until 20th/21st, if I can hold out that long!

cantbelieveimdoingthisagain · 16/01/2015 15:16

Hi girl,
welcome to you also, well I am now considering myself in the TWW and will be testing on 28th 30th of Jan. I've done exactly the same as you , poas for no reason other than I needed to sometimes.

Hey boyle when are you due to test? Go for the Pinot - no blood flow at this point so will have no effect! Although I do hope you have conceived!! I'm out for food and drinks with friends tomorrow night so will be indulging in the finest bottle of prosecco our local restaurant has to offer. Oh my god!! The things I would do for a curry, have been dieting hard since NY and will be stepping on the scales for the first time tomorrow... I'm going to be crushed if I am not towards my lighter self! (And then I will think to myself 'ah, it doesn't really matter does it? Surely I will be pregnant soon!

Oh and update on my LH & FSH blood results that I mentioned earlier - apparently my results are fantastic! Should be at the lower end of a scale between 3 - 12 and very close together. Mine are 3.4 & 3.5 Super pleased with those!
