Hello! I'm needing a TTC buddy as I'm finding myself constantly over thinking things and it's driving my husband mad so would be great to discuss it with someone else in the same boat!

I'm TTC baby number 3. I came off the pill 3 days ago and I'm very impatient, want to get started right now! Anyone else in a similar situation want to buddy up?

Hi, I could do with a buddy too! TTC #3! Been off the pill since beginning of November 2014. Just started using a Clearblue Fertility Monitor this week after getting period the day before Valentines Angry

RoseyThePony · 17/02/2015 23:38

Paige - looks like everyone's ignoring this page at the moment! It's probably a bit late but those tests look + to me.

RoseyThePony · 16/02/2015 23:12

Evening ladies - I've not been on here for a long while but it's good to see some people have had some success. I've been in a bit of a pit and not doing anything useful. Managed to get myself mentally sorted this month, armed with ovulation tests and planning a romantic valentines weekend, only to miss ovulation altogether. Was regular as rain before Christmas but when I tested on the usual day it was negative. Now I'm back in my pit. Feel like a failure and maybe this isn't meant to happen for me. I wonder if I'm being ridiculous, or if that's normal. :-(

Hey everyone,

Been offline for the last week or so, took a sunshine holiday...

Flew off the day before AF was due end of Jan but I was so confident that I felt 'different' that I was planning a big test while away, plotting to make my inevitable BFP very romantic with DH, and then...yip AF didn't just pop in for a visit, she brought an entourage. Not sure I have ever bled so heavily and for a constant 4 days (not usual for me). I would be a liar if I said I didn't spend the next few days in an alcohol-induced depression, which was easily masked by the fact that I was away on a beach holiday - prob just looked like a typical holiday-maker getting wayyyy too drunk and sun stroked.

After those initial days I somehow managed to come out other end, I looked back at my dancing days in Jan and I have put my first failed month down to lack of action. I think I focussed too much on the ovulation calendar dates only and I definitely had more then 3 day gaps in-between. So...this month my plan of attack is every second day, and started checking CM daily now to see if I can notice an obvious pattern.

I know I have only been trying for 1 month but Wow!...shocked myself at how badly I took an non-instant result. Licking wounds at present.

Hugs for everyone in this rocky boat. PMA - it's gotta happen, yeh?

xxx

Oh can't really hope you are ok. Has it been long enough to start ball rolling with GP?

MrsLowe14 · 02/02/2015 12:45

Oh cant I hope you're ok. I know exactly how you feel which is why I haven't been around much either. It really sucks. I just keep holding on to the thought that one day it will be our day. Until then just enjoy shagging, wine vodka , seafood and soft cheese Flowers

cantbelieveimdoingthisagain · 02/02/2015 11:10

Hi Boyle ,

Glad to hear it's just tiredness, sounds like you are very lucky!

She is having a great time by the looks of the school twitter account, they won't let us speak to them. Home early tomorrow morning and I can't wait to cuddle her.

13dpo and did a FRER this morning, negative as I knew anyway. AF will be making her way to me tomorrow.

My support network is kind of fading around me now. Everybody is pregnant and seem to have forgotten my trouble and persistently belly rub and moan about how difficult their pregnancy which is hurtful. Think I will be giving up my journey for now, it's far exhausting me, disrputing my current life which is so good other than this and wearing my sanity to thin. Am also signing off MN.

Good luck to you all ttc and to the pg ladies, wishing you all healthy pregnancies Flowers

Boyle1884 · 02/02/2015 08:02

Hi can't hope she got off ok?! Any news?

I don't feel ill at all, a little queezy every now and then but generally just exhausted... Had a few nights where I'm in bed for 8 etc and its very draining but I'm not going to moan!

Hope everyone else ok?!

Emma321q · 01/02/2015 13:25

Thanks for the reply Glendathegoodwitch. I'm genuinely pleased for her but it has just made me feel a little heart broken that it's not us yet. My AF is due end of the week. I have no intention of testing till its late but I haven't had any symptoms so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Glindathegoodwitch · 01/02/2015 10:09

Hi Emma, sucks doesn't it Sad

I am 12dpo today and negative hpt. I knew anyway. AF due Tuesday.

Hope everyone is well x

Emma321q · 01/02/2015 00:10

How is everyone? Close friend has just announced pregnancy with second child today. I'm still ttc number one!!!

cantbelieveimdoingthisagain · 30/01/2015 08:46

Well I managed to resist poas this morning. 1 because I wanted today to be all about DD - it's funny, this morning, waving her off, I remembered why I didn't want any more kids, the stress and the worry... the hardest thing that you will ever have to do is let your kids grow up.. It makes ttc seem like a doddle haha (I bet I wont feel like that when I get a BFN!!) And secondly, because I have a certain feeling that it is a BFN. I almost don't need to test because I know. Ah well, I have a nice trip to look forward to in March which I won't be sick for so there's my PMA and will be looking forward to that. And a bottle of prosecco each night of this weekend!!

Haha, that is a funny story manderley - glad you have popped back in and are doing well!

How is everyone doing? It is Friday if nothing else!

NurseDoctor · 29/01/2015 19:41

last night you are right, we need to try to be more positive! I think if I had already had one child I wouldn't be driving myself mad, but I guess it's the fear of unknown!

NurseDoctor · 29/01/2015 19:41

emma85x I just realised you recommended firstvue, will pop there and stock up thanks for the tip!
Cantbelieve it sure is Sad

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 29/01/2015 19:23

Now wheres all that positive mental attitude gone?!

Hope you guys are all well, been crazy busy at work recently which has helped me stop agonising about every tiny twinge. Doctors appt on Monday, all becoming v real. Can't, your dd is going to have an amazing time! I remember those 3am starts well! Sadly DH still has to do them now he's a teacher. Had one boy who was dropped off by his patents at 4am for a 2nt trip to Belgium and he wasn't even booked on it! Parents had dumped and run (ran?) so while coach had to wait while they came back for him!

Cantbelieveimdoingthisagain · 29/01/2015 18:42

It's shit isn't it nurse

Yes, you have a mighty memory boyle - yep off to Paris, I could cry! Just packed her case and she's ready, now just the challenge of getting her down from the hype and getting her to bed for a 3am wake up!

Thank you! I'll be keeping everything crossed for Saturday!

You feeling ill at all or just tired? X

Boyle1884 · 29/01/2015 17:22

Well fingers crossed for Saturday for you, creamy Cm is a good sign but could swing either way, keep your chin up and I really hope this is your time ... Is this her France trip?! Hope she has a great time x

NurseDoctor · 29/01/2015 16:27

Another 4 pregnancy announcements on Facebook in the past 2 days Sad isn't it horrible struggling to feel happy for people!

Cantbelieveimdoingthisagain · 29/01/2015 13:12

Hi Boyle,

I'm only 9dpo today. Apparently today is the most like day for implantation. No pains or anything yet. No symptoms really. My skin usually breaks out in 2/3 spots when my period is due which I do have. No sore boobs which I have got before AF in the past 2 cycles, but I have noticed a fair bit of creamy CM. Not sure what all this means. I haven't poas yet. I might leave it til Saturday because I have to take dd to school at 4am tomorrow for a school trip, so going to tell myself that urine won't work and will be better waiting til Saturday.

I think I'm going to be really crushed with BFN this month. It's the only month I've truly felt it could happen after getting positive OPK etc.. Another 2 pregnancy announcements this week. Cousin and friend. I think I'm in double figures now and starting to struggle to hide my misery. bastards

Ah well, hope everyone is feeling better than me!

Boyle1884 · 29/01/2015 06:14

cant any news? Thinking you'll be 10 dpo today?!

Hope every one else ok?

I'm struggling to stay awake these last few days!!!

NurseDoctor · 28/01/2015 19:18

Same Emma321q I started out hoping to plan the exact month of birth and soon realised it just isn't realistic for most people. Nov/Dec is the busiest time for my husband at work, and therefore not an ideal time for babies. But I'm now in the "sod it we will make it work" mindset!

Emma321q · 28/01/2015 19:04

I'm in the same position NurseDoctor. Trying desperately to put it to the back of my mind but can't help hoping for a BFP.

NurseDoctor · 28/01/2015 16:50

Hows everyone getting on? AF not due for just over a week, need to stop obsessing!

MrsLowe14 · 26/01/2015 20:57

I used SI last cycle but in fairness this is only my second period since coming off the depo so hopefully this cycle will be shorter. I had a lot more ewcm last cycle so fingers crossed for this one :)
