Can u call ur gp and explain its a bit odd and u have been advised to have hcg tests 2 days apart. They should double. Xxx I'm quietly really excited for u x u usually get preg in 6 months-is it 6 months now?

She has never looked at my tongue before. I usually ovulate day 14-16 so was slightly earlier . It's that dreaded not knowing and the handing £350 over for intralipid's when not really knowing if I will need them xx

I think it sounds really promising dildoos. So u ovulated day 12-is that when u usually ovulate?
Ur acupuncture lady might not have been able to tell, it's not precise. Mine tends to use my toungue rather than my pulse anyways?!

Ok background had last af 9/1/15. Had tested negative up until the af but was 2 days late.Had acupuncture on 12/1/15 then again 19/1/15 and ovulated by my monitor on the 20/1/15 then had acupuncture on 26/1/15 and tested today just because i am crazy and do this a lot ( please don't judge my poas addiction!)
So technically would have 1 one pred to take tomorrow and would be due to test Friday! Frep came up immediately and very strong so obviously I done another 3! Then the clearblue as per Louise advise as she thought could be for last month? However if is a mc have no further bleeding, and have ovulated?! Any chance my monitor could be wrong? But to bet strong enough to set of a clearblue this early ???
I don't have any symptoms at all. I have had af pains since Friday but told my accupuncturist this too. Would she have realised I was pregnant before hand? X

Dildoos the more I think about it the more I think that can't poss be left over hormone. Wouldn't have you of tested last month to stop pred?

I haven't tested this last MC out but usually mine fade and go faint before I do MC and then have cleared out of my system very very quickly after.

Could you have not ov'd a bit earlier? Any possible symptoms!

If u ovulated last tues. u would be 8dpo-which would be mega early for a postive test but not impossible?!

No u can't ovulate with hcg in ur system.

Oh wow dildoos! How long is ur cycle usually? When did u ovulate? If ur 9dpo/10dpo then yes I would say its a postive test?! Usually
Implantation is around day 6-9 and hcg can be picked up very soon after that.

Yes the pred and cyclogest in the evenings now. However she thought early for a strong positive and asked if maybe i could have just had a Minor af last monh and see what a clearblue test said. I had a normal af last month and clearblue yet said 1-2 weeks. I ovulated last Tuesday according to my monitor. If it were a mc dwindling off would I have ovulated with hcg in my system? I am awaiting a call from acupuncture lady as thought she may be able to help? X

Well I don't know if I have good news or not.
Decided to take an early test and really strong bfp but faint on tesco one!
Usually I would jump up and down and get excited but it is 9 days before af due! Which before has been that I have mc the month before not realised then got positive followed by feint bfp's then finally negative.
So Louise hought wow that's early and advise take a clearblue which said 1-2 weeks so is it that I have a bfp? Or have I miscarried and it's the dregs of hcg?
Would my accupuncturist have anything to do with this?
Please I am so sorry I am after advise again but have a feeling it's a mc backdraft! X

Didn't want to discuss any of it. I don't think she or anyone can understand its not just something u can discuss and shrug ur shoulders over. It's evokes strong emotions and u have to be in the zone to discuss it. Maybe it's just me!

Hula you are no grandma my sister was 40 when had my nephew , her first and 42 with my second gorgeous nephew! It means you have life experience to tell them and guide you through that bit better. I was 27 having dd and I felt young and didn't cope maybe as well to the transition of a child as my sister took all in her stride , we are similar natured just assume the years made the difference?

My sister in law ( the nice one with no kids) was over tonight having a massage from my neighbour and she never fails to cheer me up, well boh of them really. They both always ask lots of appropriate questions, make suggestions, often they stimulate me to think of other things to ask dr shehata so I enjoy their monthly massage get together in my dining room. We end up putting the worlds to rights, saying how unfair that some people just fall pregnant an then have a proper bitch about the other sister in law I always feel so refreshed ( how mean!?)
Anyway 2 more days on the pred !!! Xx

Oh glad ur cycle is behaving hula! It's always nice when u get ecwm then slightly darker stick that then goes dark! U feel like ur body is working!
I think I'm sticking to the diet about 70 percent except I have a lot of diary. I'm obsessed with low fat Greek yog with blueberries and low gi granola. It's so filling, mega low calorie and I love it. Im so full after it its the only thkng that leeps me
Going till lunch time with no snack anyone else wants a protein heavy filing breekie but not avoiding dairy I really advise it! I also love my decaf latte.

Sunny hope you re doing ok, and you too Determined. I know how for me the days after felt like you re fine one min and then not the next, it s no easy rollercoaster so i m keeping the virtual hugs coming !

Rosa i totally understand the age pressure, for me the big 4 0 looms in less than 4mns...!!! (Gosh does that make me the grandma on here !? ) But as trying said there s lots of stories on here of sucessful ladies in their late 30/40s and more is about how healthy you are than the actual number. I always take comfort from my MILs story who had her 1st at 41, then a mc and then twins at 43 (my dh and his sister). God knows how she managed twins and a toddler but it shows it can happen.

Re diet i ve found a couple of books useful (zita west eat yourself pregnant has some good info and recipes and 'It start with the egg' has some good gen lifestyle info esp for maximising egg quality). My acu lady thinks it s really imp, she gen recommends plenty of protein (esp breakfast), lots of bright coloured veg and greens, berries, nuts, wholegrains and not too much dairy. She did say tho that as long as you try to stick to it 80% of the time then thats fine. Re what acus can teel from pulse etc she did pick up a slippery spleen pulse (suggestive of preg) in me before i knew i was preg with my ds and then at 11 weeks correctly knew the sex ! (I know 50:50 anyway but she said usually she got it right).

Afm - day 14 have had a couple of days ewcm, no pos opk but starting to get a little bit of a line so think ov fairly imminent so really hoping back on track. Not taking pred this cycle as having some herbs to try and settle things down (seem to be working so far fingers crossed).
