Thank you hula. Am and pm makes sense thinking this should hopefully help? In meantime I need bloods I think as don't want to be taking all this medication for no reason as can't be good for us xx

Hula2 · 29/01/2015 20:25

Oh and good idea to ask for bloods.

Hula2 · 29/01/2015 20:23

Dildoos - what at trial this all is and how horrid to be in limbo. Hoping for you that now the bleeding is minimal things will settle. If louise said twice daily for the cyclogest then yep i d say first thing and last thing. I gather that can cause irritation of the cervix if you re using that route....so u could change that if so. Really hoping this is a sticky bean for you. X

dildoos · 29/01/2015 19:58

Goodluck one, I don't really know too much but the swing for me was Dr shehata you can have testing anytime I. Your cycle where as prof Quenby I think you have to go 10 days after ovulation so is more stressful xx

dildoos · 29/01/2015 19:53

Thank you mackoo, me too. But I think we all know that feeling when it starts xx

mackoo0524 · 29/01/2015 19:39

Hi dildoos, hope it's just spotting and that everything will be okay!!

dildoos · 29/01/2015 18:50

Meant minimal now not the case this am xx

dildoos · 29/01/2015 18:48

Ok bleeding minimal and sludgy brown (sorry for too much info!) emailed louise as can't speak at work she said take cyclogest twice daily. So is that am and pm? Also if bleeding gets more or red stop aspirin. Called acupuncturist she said she will try help Monday. Thinking tomorrow I am going to rock up at gp and ask to be referred to our EPAU for bloods as that is the only way I will know. Limbo limbo limbo but i know it's not looking good!
Still no symptoms xx

Hi one foot. I'm from near Mersey too! I saw mr farqashon at the liverpool womens who is lovely but doesn't really do the whole NK cell thing. They do offer a great service for reassurance scans etc. so I'm under them as well. He did give me progesterone and asprin-It didn't work and I ended up having another miscarriage. Which led me to mr shehata. But they are very supportive.

Quenby is in Coventry-u only see her once and that's it. She gives u results over the phone. So u would only ever see you the one time. I think it's a one off charge of 360. She does a uterine biopsy.

Shehata in London u tend to see more as he gives intralipds as well as steriods if you nk are higher. He's lot more exp and obviously a lot of time and energy to see him. It cost me 2 Grand In just blood tests so far! I've invested in a two together rail card for Me and DH( saves loads on train fares!)

If u do choose to see either, i found it hard to choose between the 2. But shehata does a bit more in depth immune testing that quenby (although more controversial) and so I went with him. Sucess on the recurrent miscarriage thread (mainly quenby patients currently) and on the old pred threads (mainly shehata) suggest they both help and I couldn't say which was "better". There isn't anyone closer to us to do all this sadly. There are a few more in London - nduke and gorgy.

All the best with whichever u decide. even if you decide neither the stats are always on your side (over 50 percent) even after multiple miscarriages xxx

sunnyday01 · 29/01/2015 12:21

Hi OneFoot

Most of us are under a Dr in London/Epsom called Mr Shehata, I think the dr you are referring to is Dr Quenby who is based in Coventry.

From my limited experience, I don't know of any private dr's that way who 'treat' immune issues. Sadly a lof of us travel quite a way to see Mr S.

Trying may be able to help as i think she lives in the North west.

Hi ladies,I'm the biggest lurker ever I tend to post then not post for ages.

Anyhow I've had some results back,my thyroid is working normally and my blood has no plotting issues. on the 4thof March me and my hubby are having bloods taken for another test. Then that's were the nhs testing stops I think. I know you all talk about your doctor is Coventry but I live in merseyside and my husband lives too far. Does anyone have any recommendations for a doctor in Manchester or Liverpool please?.

After 3 loses I am keen to try again,I just think I'm not "unlucky" I think there must be something out thereto keep me pregnant longer than 8 weeks.

Tryingno1 · 29/01/2015 11:31

Oh no dildoos?! What's going on :(. Can u go home. Are u ok? Is there a lot? Could it be implantation like determined said?
How stressful :(

Determined123 · 29/01/2015 10:19

Oh no...could it not be implantation blood coming through? At 9dpo that would be about right?! Did you test this morning?

(I had early spotting with the last 2, never with the first 2. I wonder if the aspirin is a culprit). Stay positive xxx

sunnyday01 · 29/01/2015 09:26

oh no dildood, that is rubbish. is it just spotting? It might be nothing (easy for me to say I know).

Hope you are ok - are you able to go home?

sunnyday01 · 29/01/2015 06:32

Thanks hope - ideally I want to continue with SO so will need to wait one month until next period arrives I guess!

Glad things are progressing well for you, I guess you have to just take it a week at a time and have mini milestones to get through the time.

Good luck for your appt determined

Hi all, just catching up on everything after a few days away. I'm so sorry to hear your news Sunny. You are so right staying positive about getting pregnant again soon though. This proves how fertile you are and I know it won't be long before if happens for you. Not sure if you prefer to wait or need some time, but we are always extra fertile after a miscarriage. Sending you a big hug.
Dildoos was super excited to see your posts! Wow, it sounds really positive. I think the fact you are getting such strong tests is a really good sign! How are you feeling in yourself? I was freaking out majorly until 12 weeks, and I'm still not exactly an oasis of calm. As everyone says, a total pavlova!
rosa so sorry only just getting back to your scan question. I'm not sure about anyone up here that you could go to but I only looked into it a little. Such a nightmare paying for trains and planes on top of everything else! How is the accu is going? I am going back next Friday.
Hope everyone else is doing well. Sending positive thoughts your way, determined, trying and hula.
Seems amazing that I am now 14 and a half weeks but still deflated like I have a long way to go. Mainly because I have! Next scan is next week so should have a clear idea then how baby is doing. Have been tapering the pred and only two days left now. Girl at work said my face looked chubby yesterday. So kind of her! Anyway, can lose weight later! What a long journey this is but we will get there, xxx

Tryingno1 · 28/01/2015 23:21

I agree totally determined. Hence why I went to shehata. Even if its working as a placebo! I do believe so many ladies suceed on the pred. I just get thoughtful on it sometimes
All the best for ur appt tmrw. Try get a tasty dinner or lunch while u r down there! I do miss London!

Determined123 · 28/01/2015 23:19

Trying the NHS doc I saw before xmas said she wouldn't give me anything as no real evidence any of it works, Ils were created as a placebo years ago and no large enough trials. We just had to keep trying and one would stick. My answer to that was there was no way I would get preg and not take it because of what if...if I mc again would always blame myself for not.

She said the only thing she would consider is heparin with aspirin none of the other stuff (and was surprised at how many meds I took with SO too!)
Rosa deffo get a nutribullet! They are amazing Smile

Tryingno1 · 28/01/2015 22:50

It's the only way I keep sane! Tell myself enjoy it now as wont happen much when I have my baby! I'm obssed with secret escapes and bargain weekends!

Rosa27 · 28/01/2015 22:46

Arg once again as soon as I post lots of messages appear by magic!
Trying - you always seem to be off in little trips.. I'm jealous!

Rosa27 · 28/01/2015 22:39

Dildoos!!!!SmileSmileSmile
Wow so much can change in 24 hours. Amazing news and fingers crossed the blood tests go well. When is the cut off for intralipids? I had them already as would have had to wait 6 weeks for hydroxy to kick in before trying.. So arguably a waste.. But at least know it's ok and what to expect and would always have wondered if those were the months.
Good luck tomorrow Determined with all the Qs.
Hi everyone else.. Feel like I need to join the growing nutribullet club.. Away to look into it! X

Tryingno1 · 28/01/2015 22:32

Sorry that's 75 after 3 miscarriages know we have all had differing no x

Tryingno1 · 28/01/2015 22:32

Saying that even if tx helps by 1percent I'll take that over another mc anyday!
