Trying - blinking SIL they are great hey?

Will ask on Saturday for us! Does anyone else have any questions would rather use my 15 mins for answers than holiday talk Grin

X

Tryingno1 · 04/01/2015 10:14

That was DC not DH

Hope how r u???

Tryingno1 · 04/01/2015 09:32

Hey girls.

Sunny, hope ur ok. Keep the faith! We will get there one way or another. I think we all react to preg news in the same way. I'm dreading seeing my SIL not just because of her bump but she manages to make me feel really insecure and inadequate that I don't already have a DH and really pity's me for this situation. I'm not sure how long I can avoid her for!

I'm starting to stress out as to why not preg yet. DH has also decided to go teetotal not that he had thatttt much but holidays and Xmas he can binge a bit! I'm worried about scarring post 2 ercps and his sperm. I'm giving it till month 8 and getting both theses investigated.

Dildoos I didn't go to that appt so sorry! But I think mainly will check any SE from the pred etc. it might be worthwhile asking him about our worry of the NK cells stopping us getting preg (I think we both have similar activity?)

I'm in Manchester! Used to live in London and moved here for a family life which still hasn't happened :(

dildoos · 04/01/2015 08:06

Also I have my next appt with dr s but in Epsom clinic on Saturday for our first check after starting pred. What can I expect? X

dildoos · 04/01/2015 08:02

Sunny Sad I feel for you! Why text when your having nice time in London? Confused
Still yes at least she has said and you didn't have to have tears in front of her!
Welcome new ladies , sorry to here about af arriving that's poop but as you say new cycle new mind, new dtd tricks?
I live in norwich , Norfolk ( very flat and lots of tractors Grin)
We are on day 25 today (bfn this am) and I think you do just know when your out don't you. So wanting af to arrive nice and on time Thursday please and thanks Smile
Xx

Yep, after my friend told me everywhere I looked there were babies! I'm feeling better about it now, got to keep the faith!

Hula2 · 03/01/2015 20:37

Sunny - i so know what you mean about it being difficult hearing of friends pregnancies and then it being there at the back of your mind. I had a similar text on new years eve and it definetly put a bit on a dampener on things and then it seemed everywhere i went the next day there was someone preg. The nursery drop of is the worst and around my would have been due date in nov there were at least three mums with newborns.

We ve just got to keep the faith it will be us one day (and hopefully soon!) .

sunnyday01 · 03/01/2015 18:53

Hi everyone - how are you all?

I'm not doing too bad - went to London today to see wicked ( which was excellent) and just on train home. Had a slight meltdown in prezzo beforehand as got a text from a good friend telling me she was expecting her second and it's due in June. I'm not too surprised as her little one is coming up for two but it still hits you a bit and the while it's unfair, why isn't it happening for us etc comes bubbling to he surface. I just about managed to hold it together after dabbing my eyes a bit with the napkin but it's now been on the back of my mind all afternoon!

It must be had for my friend to tell me though, she knows what I am going through and how hard it is so I guess it must be hard to tell me but I'm glad she did. I am happy for her but I am a bit jealous I must admit!

No it didn't mess with it at all. I am just being paranoid incase it were too! I took it for 2, had a month off, took it for one, now not taken it for 2. So will be 50/50.
Lets see what this month brings
Totally know re getting a bfn and knowing ur out, then u just want af to come and ovulation to hurry up!

Hula2 · 02/01/2015 23:20

Thanks trying. Actually was pleased she showed as had already been pooped by bfn and when u know ur out u just want get on with the next cycle. How many months did you take pred from ov ? Did it mess with your cycles at all ?

Tryingno1 · 02/01/2015 22:40

Sorry af came hula. Hope ur not too pooped! Only one month into the prog though :)

Tryingno1 · 02/01/2015 22:38

When is next appt mackoo? I was same as sunny, and then when I was told they were slightly high I felt really sad-not sure why? But I suppose it means there's something the pred can hopefully do

My babymaking DTD has officially ended phew! And now in number 6 of 2ww...not taking the pred again this month...

Hula2 · 02/01/2015 22:37

Evening ladies and thanks for all the welcomes.

Rosa - good to know someone on the same protocol as i m sure questions will come up that will be good to compare notes on.

LAlaker - thanks for sharing your inspiring story and congratulations on your daughter. So good to hear that it can and does happen. Very interesting about the omega 3 and reservatrol. How much and which supplements did you use ?

Hi Mackoo - good luck with the results. I have to say i was reeling a bit after mine. Like sunny said good to find some thing that can be done but also initially a bit overwhelming.

Good luck to all those ladies starting the tww. Af came for me today so onto cycle 2 !

sunnyday01 · 02/01/2015 19:25

Welcome mackoo - I found d waiting for my results a weird one - in one way I wanted him to find nothing, in another way I wanted him to find something!!

LALaker · 01/01/2015 21:43

Hi there happy new year. Just wanted to say I had 7 miscarriages ...no previous children, I'm 38; but had a beautiful little girl in September after 3 years ttc. Dr s found I had high gliadin antibodies which turned out to be ceoliac disease which can be linked to RCM. I also had high cytokines / tnf alpha and after a bit of research found people had some success after taking high dose fish oil and reservratrol instead of the hugely expensive humirua option. I took the fish oils and reservratrol for about 3 months and my last bfp resulted in my little girl. I also have hughes syndrome - also immune related like the gliadin antibodies so was also treated at st marys with aspirin and clexane. I thought I would never get there so all of u who are sooo ready and wishing for a baby please do not give up. I will be forever pinching myself looking at this little bundle and I only want that for each and everyone of u. I also had a high fsh and pretty low Amh, so do not give up. I was told ivf with donor eggs my only option but we decided to continue ourselves. Here's to a stork-tastic 2015 x x x x

Tryingno1 · 01/01/2015 21:32

Sounds fun dildoos! It's nice to forget about all the TTC constraints all the time and let ur hair down. I did that on Xmas day!

Rosa keep going with the postive feelings. I really hope 2015 is one for u.

Sometimes after not getting a bfp for so long, I feel like I've forgotten what it's like to get one?! I don't know if that makes sense? Feels like a million miles away rather than something realistic?

Hope when is ur next scan again?

Rosa27 · 01/01/2015 20:02

Welcome Hula2... I'm on the same programme as you so message me if any Qs.. I'm not an expert of course and have no success yet but feeling good about this year Smile
