Of course, we all know how crap this all is for us all. i want us all to have our babies!

I think hope looked into it....I've only touched on it. I know some go abroad to do it. There must be forums on babycenter and mumsnet where people have looked into it, could maybe ask some women who have been through it? Lets hope it happens soon though. Positive thinking and all that!

Rosa27 · 27/01/2015 15:35

Trying - no, not at all.. I'm 100% sure we all want the best for each other here.. Don't worry Smile
I asked about surrogacy and was told it is for women who have had a hysterectomy and no womb to be able to carry a baby or for women that a pregnancy would cause them to have a serious medical problem as in the cases of severe cardiac problems where pregnancy can be fatal. It is very expensive and a legal mind field...
I still wonder about it though but wouldn't know where to start..

Tryingno1 · 27/01/2015 15:30

Sunny out of intrest did u get ur Dh sperm Back? I've always wondered if it could be a cause Of miscarriages but the top experts say no..but in USA they do think poor Morphology can be the cause.

Tryingno1 · 27/01/2015 15:21

I know rosa. I can totally Understand the pressure must be much more. I
Hope u didn't take any offence. I just know so many women have success at ur age and older and I hope u do Too. I suppose it means u have to make decisions quicker rather than wait around.
If I don't suceed in next 5 years in
Going to surrogacy! I can't wait for another 8, making it ten! I may go mad.

Rosa27 · 27/01/2015 15:17

Trying - thanks for reminding me not to wish my life away... I do worry about time ticking. Trust me though if, god forbid, you're in my shoes in 8 years you'll probably feel the same way. Nothing I can do about it though... Just adds an extra level of anxiety. As we all say, wouldn't it be great to have a crystal ball. I'd accept my fate and be able to enjoy the present more. I suppose it can't hurt to believe it will happen so the present is better... And maybe it will help.. Like what we were saying about visualisation. Smile

Tryingno1 · 27/01/2015 14:59

I've got it thanks sue!

Rosa27 · 27/01/2015 14:49

Ooh would find that interesting but will get on amazon if anyone else needs.
Sunny and Determined - hope you're feeling positive and focusing on the future. A mix of keeping busy and making time for spoiling yourself is the best recipe. And before you know it I'm sure your luck will turn for the better. This thread is due some positive news! X

suemays · 27/01/2015 11:56

Ladies, I have got a zita west conception book if anyone wants it? Pm me and I will post it out xx

Determined123 · 27/01/2015 10:48

Ha ha yes, although am not really working as one at the moment just have the knowledge! Really need to use it!!

Tryingno1 · 27/01/2015 10:44

Hope ur day goes ok sunny. Well done for getting back into the swing of things. Hope ur ok. U will get there in the end sunny. Yep ovulation imminent!
Ah a PT- ur those mean people who shout to keep going! I had one after miscarriage 2 as I put on a lot of weight with 9 weeks of preg and comfort eating after. I loved and hated her at the same time!

Determined123 · 27/01/2015 10:13

Which ZW book are you reading Dildoos? I borrowed one on assisted conception from my reflexology lady.

Glad you are ok today and trying to get back to normal sunny. It's hard but I find its the best thing too.

I'm the same re diet and fitness! I got to the gym a couple of weeks in dec after mc 3 and then xmas happened and then new years day my resolutions had to get revised so it all starts tomorrow! Pretty bad really for a qualified PT! I'm actually really excited to get back to it!

sunnyday01 · 27/01/2015 09:27

are you ov this week trying? i guess due to my mc our cycles won't be so in sync anymore!

It really is funny how your life can change so quickly - i said to DH this morning that the last week has felt like a dream. Also did a test this morning and it came up negative so definitely over for me this time.

Back at my desk now - feeling ok and actually looking forward to thinking about something else after the ladt 3 days of non stop talking/crying/mentaling about pregnancy and miscarriage. I am keen to make the most of my month/6 weeks off and really crack on with the gym and weight loss again which i sort of stopped when i found out.

Sunny good luck with being back hope it helps get u back to the RL.
And u too determined. My first miscariage I was on holiday-I rem thinking god I flew out preg and I'm flying out not. The whole world of RM has really made me think how our lives can change from one minute to another and u just don't know wots in store.
I visualised last night and this am!

dildoos · 27/01/2015 07:16

Your def not mad trying as I said reading the zita west and been visualising as much as poss but like you no bump :-( unsure why as have had a term baby so know what I look like but can't visualise it in my thought process?
Hypnotherapy sounds like a good thing to try , maybe that's one for after I have given acupuncture a good shot.
So many things to try I may go through the lot! Safely say reflexology and nasty herb from weird mans garden didn't work (Indian Canadian and boiling jeeps in spring water for 90mins and leaving me with something like mud that you drink, gag and swallow) xx

sunnyday01 · 27/01/2015 06:41

Glad you enjoyed your spa day trying.

That's really interesting about the pulses and accupunture, I just can't afford accu on top of all the other costs at the moment. However I definitely think positive visualisation can work, this time round both me and dh talked to eggs/sperm beforehand then when on the two week wait I would talk to them about embedding g etc - who knows if it actually meant anything but we did get the bfp - obv so didn't talk enough about staying in there. Maybe I shoukd also start thinking about the nk cells not being so aggressive?!

I'm going back to work today, I'm still bleeding a bit (just period like now) but I need to get back to normality after 3 horrible days. I think I can deal with people asking me if I had a nice weekend without bawling my eyes out and I'm going to take myself off at lunch to my favourite place to get lunch and treat myself.

All my close friends know what is going on with me, I think a lot of them don't know what to say esp as they have had babies quite easily with no real issues. I may not always tell them exactly how I'm feeling but I have found it helps to talk about it too them and also I can talk quite freely about it without getting too upset.

No you don't sound mad at all!

Good luck with the pred )or whatever you decide) xxx

Tryingno1 · 26/01/2015 23:09

Me Too on the spelling! It's the iPhone. I promise I can spell in RL?!

Tryingno1 · 26/01/2015 23:08

No no kids, she's been through a really awful breakup so knows how life can sometimes be shit. Although its obv totally diff. But as she's nowhere close to ttc she doesn't really get it. she once told
Me a story of a woman who had 5 failed ivf?! I wanted to scream why r u telling me this story!? But instead ate my sushi!

Yes I imagine a baby. Also in my lougue, my DH holding them, them in his lap etc. but for some reason the preg part doesn't seem to feature? I sometimes imagine telling
People I'm 20 weeks preg. but in those thoughts i dont actually look preg? (Do I sound mad!).

Oh rosa I've noticed ur always saying how u will be 39, and how u will be 40. For now ur 38. (I can understand the time pressure must so though, but u got to keep postive and stop adding years on!) loads
Of Women on the old pred threads were in their late 30s and 40s. Our very hope is an example! u are 38. Full stop!

I'm going to take the pred for 5/6 days I think. That's what I've decided for now. I'll Prob change my Mind tmrw!

Determined123 · 26/01/2015 22:56

Yes I must apologise too. Spelling grammar and sentences are appalling! Hopefully you understand what I am saying ;)

Determined123 · 26/01/2015 22:54

Trying I know what you mean about being preggo...it seems so impossible to imagine that bump and being nearly there. That said I do often see myself and DH bringing home a baby, in our house we are in now and I see us being in the kitchen and lounge etc...maybe it's me looking after my nieces or nephews or a friends baby! Ha ha!

I fly back tomorrow. Seems weird I left preg and fly back not (I almost feel like it never even happened which is probably a good thing) I may feel differently when I am working on Wednesday! I don't know. I'm am just grateful I got to enjoy the 2nd half of my hols even if the 1st half was pants!! I do feel a lot better though and I am on a mission for some answers!!

I know what u mean about drinking although drinking red wine has a really powerful antioxidant called reservatrol-did I mention it before? Helps with egg quality I believe!?

I am glad you enjoyed the spa! Has your friend got children or ttc? i only speak about it with certain friends too and very often it's quite a difficult subject to come up! It's so hard! ;(

What Cd are you on?

Rosa27 · 26/01/2015 22:53

Meant to add- I'm the same. Only some people can ask and only at the right time.. Otherwise my precious 'up days' are derailed .. Not easy for us or our friends!

Rosa27 · 26/01/2015 22:52

Sorry everyone about my terrible spelling- on phone and auto-incorrects!
Determined- I think there's so much in it.. Just wish had tried before.
Trying - I'm off pred again but in hydroxy. But I've really high levels.. Prob need to be on pred. Just need time to get head round decision on SO and my life.. Want to be sure and commit to a plan and not regret anything as 16 months to 40..Confused

Tryingno1 · 26/01/2015 22:31

Still not decided wot to do with the bloody pred!!

Tryingno1 · 26/01/2015 22:28

Rosa and dildoos my acupuncturists has told me about that too. I might try picture it for a few mins every night before bed. Not sure what to picture? I actually find imaging me with a bump the hardest. I don't ever imagine being 30 weeks
Preg? It feels like an impossible hill to climb. Sigh.

Sunny-hope u had a really lazy day and feeling ready to see mr s with all ur questions. Are u going back to work? Lots More hugs to u.

Determined how r u feeling? Are u back? Again, look after urself.
the weeks back to Reality are so hard and sad. saying hi to people and smiling when actually u want to look up stories on mumset of women who got preg successfully after miscarriages. U keep going with the wine-To be fair my first bfp was conceived month 2 of trying on a drunken night! So I don't know why I've cut It out. It's just to feel
Empowered that we do it. I can't stop diary though I love my decaf latte! U sound fighting and ready for ur appt and to try again. As ur name says-determined!

Spa was lovely! Except my friend asked "how I was". She doesn't usually ask as knows I don't like to discuss it. She's one of 2 friends who know. I don't know why it left me rattled. I think it's because outside my home I prefer to not to think about it and pretend it all hasnt happen. (In the house I talk about
It to DH everyday!) I said "I'm fine, shall we go for a Swim" (!)

Oh I wish we could fast fwd 5 years!

Determined123 · 26/01/2015 22:08

Definitely worth a shot-That sounds awesome rosa! I think I'd love to try something like that!

They say athletes visualise winning and then do so I don't see why that logic wouldn't apply to beating rmc's!! It's all about the power of the mind a positivity!!
