Hey girls I'm 5DPO! It feels like it's taken ages even to get to this point! Had a free symptoms ie bloating, peeling a lot! And sicky feelings here and there!
Anyone wanna join me in this horrible waiting phase?

Hahaha Loopyla I will definitely be getting very tipsy over Christmas.

Fx for next month. My birthday is on the 21st and af due the 22nd so it would be a nice birthday present.

Good luck to the rest of you waiting to test.

Nervous83 · 22/12/2014 13:10

Afternoon All, I'm quite new here and was planning on starting out on the Jan bus, but have found myself in the TWW early. Didn't expect to OV in my first month off BC but had a BFP OPK on CD13 which was 13th Dec. Does that mean I'm now DPO9? Nervous & Excited & trying not to symptom spot Xmas Smile Can I join you all in the longest days ever!!?!

LoopyLa · 22/12/2014 13:02

Stiff yourself?!? Wtf? Sounds a bit rude! Xmas Shock

Stuff yourself obviously...Xmas Hmm

LoopyLa · 22/12/2014 13:01

Oh bugger! I'm so sorry Beautician Angry

On the upside make sure you stiff yourself with pregnancy contraband foods & lovely lovely alcohol Xmas Wink

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 22/12/2014 07:44

Yes full af this morning. Hopefully it will be 3 days like last month and over with before Christmas Hmm

LoopyLa · 21/12/2014 20:09

Oh Beautician are you sure? Sad Update us tomorrow am, I'm keeping fx it won't be AF.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 21/12/2014 19:47

I'm out ladies. Just wiped and I have pinkish streaks in my cm so af will visit tonight/tomorrow Hmm

Serenity05 · 21/12/2014 18:04

Haha, true! We're hosting this year so I'm not planning on getting too plastered anyway.

LoopyLa · 21/12/2014 16:20

Hi Serenity, welcome!

It's unlikely that you'd get a bfp on Xmas Eve being that you'll only be 8dpo - I'd personally enjoy the last alcoholic drinks while you can Xmas Wink

Serenity05 · 21/12/2014 16:01

Hi, everyone, I'm pretty new to these boards, just started TTC #1. I'm currently 5DPO with zero symptoms but hey, it's still very early. I'm thinking of doing a test on Christmas Eve just to see if I can drink or if I should walk around with coke and pretend it has vodka in it!

ditzzy · 21/12/2014 15:11

P.S. I'm counting on Christmas distractions to make me forget the dates and new year will be here before we know it. Grin

Feel free to test early and share though!!

ditzzy · 21/12/2014 15:08

I missed the question on my friend... She has been to the GP lots but I'm not sure she always agrees with the advice she gets and most of the tests come back suggesting she shouldn't have a problem... She does have a son already but has since had an ectopic as well as the cps and one later 9 week mmc.

She is an amazing optimist over it all though! (Although with a serious addiction to POAS which I never quite understood before but can now see the slippery slope looming in front of me Wink )

ditzzy · 21/12/2014 14:58

To be honest last time I knew what the test was going to say before I took it, so testing became less urgent. My comment to DP was that if it was negative then I needed to go to the doc anyway to find out why every bit of me felt different in terms of odd cramping, queasiness etc

I think if I feel that obviously pg again by this time next week I'll be able to smugly 'know' without officially knowing and wait until new year. If I'm not so confident then I'll be nervously waiting to test and it'll be negative whenever I do it...

LoopyLa · 21/12/2014 14:20

HAHAHAHAHA!! You did make me chuckle! Grin Grin Grin

On the one hand, yes it would be good to avoid a potential cp situation again because of the little heartbreak each time.

But I think I'd rather know (just my personal feelings at this moment) if I have a cp rather than just a late period as you're not supposed to use tampons (risk of infections) for the subsequent bleeding & I think it would be better to know if they're recurrent so you could then go to the GP to possibly get it investigated? Has your friend gone to GPs out of interest? I would if they kept happening myself.

So now who was expecting a more summarised answer? Wink

I'm not sure I'll be able to wait til the 30th... Hmm

ditzzy · 21/12/2014 14:02

Nothing like overthinking things.... I bet you were expecting a one word answer Wink

ditzzy · 21/12/2014 14:01

Original plan was to hold off until the 2nd but I ordered tests in a bit early (in case of Christmas post problems) so I may not manage that long!!

I'm away from home (ILs) from 27th to 30th so will be easy to resist until back home.

I waited until 15dpo last month partly because of a friend who has had lots (maybe 4?) cp so I was hoping by waiting until definitely after AF due I'd avoid that.... (nevermind). I'm also less confident on ov date this time.

Let me know what you decide so I can use you as an excuse to test earlier than planned Grin

LoopyLa · 21/12/2014 13:04

ditzzy just out of interest when will you be testing? Just so I can copy you borrow some of your willpower Xmas Grin

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 21/12/2014 12:04

I'm 99.9 % sure I'm not pregnant. I only have cb digitals in anyway & they aren't very sensitive. I'm going to hold out until after Christmas I think although af will probably arrive in the mean time.

ditzzy · 21/12/2014 10:03

Xmas Grin Loopy - loving your optimism for everyone.

My DP has just announced he's feeling sick, which has made me think exactly the opposite to your advice in my household! Unless he's managed to catch pg symptoms off me too Wink

LoopyLa · 21/12/2014 08:56

Buuuuuuuuut are you sure it's not pg related? Are you going to POAS just to make sure?

LoopyLa · 21/12/2014 08:44

Ah Beautician sorry to hear that, you may caught it from me Wink

My toddler had it last Saturday/Sunday/Monday, I had it last Sunday/Monday, it was no fun Angry

Hope it passes quickly for you, keep up with the water x

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 21/12/2014 07:26

Jane I'm using the Ovia app too.

Oh ladies I feel awful today. I have woken with a horrendous tummy bug. So if af is due tomorrow this is sure to delay it.

LoopyLa · 21/12/2014 07:20

I'm using the Ovia app as it's helpful for recording imaginary symptoms & helping me track when my period should be.

ditzzy · 20/12/2014 23:35

Jane - I'm not using any apps, just chatting to people on here! My strategy is just not to test until I'm at least a day or two late.

ditzzy · 20/12/2014 23:33

Ditzzycat actually stopped talking to me the night before I started spotting. At the time I thought maybe the novelty had worn off, after all he is a typical cat with a two day attention span...
