bovny so sorry for your bfn but I understand why you did it. I'm 9dpo too and haven't had my first wee yet today but I know I should go and get rid of it! I have 4 frers in the house! Fx it was too early for you and your friends distract you until it's time to test again!

lordy so sorry you've had such a hard time with your dad. Hope he continues to get better. A BFP is just what you need now!

Bovnydazzler · 15/11/2014 08:08

ohlordy sorry to hear you're having a really stressful time, glad he is stable now.

247 whoop whoop!! How you enjoy an uneventful pregnancy.

I have been STUPID and tested at 9dpo. I have friends coming this weekend so didn't want to test in the midst of hosting so thought I'd get it out of the way now. BFN. Ho-hum, not out yet, etc etc (but still forced me to do a reality check that I shouldn't get my hopes up too much for this cycle).

spinningirl10 · 15/11/2014 07:52

Ohlordy, sorry to hear that your Dad is so poorly but good to hear he's improving. What a worrying time for you all Thanks

fififolle · 15/11/2014 07:27

Gosh lordy it sounds like you've had a very stressful week. I'm glad to hear that your Dad is now on the road to recovery. I hope that your mum is ok too.
You will give them their first grandchild, this time next year you'll all be enjoying lovely cuddles. X

ohlordyplordy · 15/11/2014 07:12

Good morning ladies.
Congratulations 247.
Sorry to those of you af has struck.
Fx to those of you with bfn or still to test.
I haven't caught up properly. I've been staying at my parents for a few days whilst my dad has had major surgery. We nearly lost him but he's over the worst now. He may be moved out of intensive care today fx. It has been the most awful time.
I so want to give my parents their first grandchild; I know they'd be wonderful.
Ff thinks I'm 8dpo. I have the same kind of twinges as last cycle - which gave me my bfp - but trying not to get excited.

spinningirl10 · 15/11/2014 06:56

Morning Grin

Blueberry, what a shit about your windows! I hope you can get the planning to use them.

Blue, sorry you've been unwell on your hols and had lots of baby talkThanks someone suggested planning another holiday, sounds good to me!

Terry, hope the pain has gone now. As the others have said, if it gets worse or you're worried phone the doc.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 15/11/2014 06:44

Morning everyone. Well I'm very ahem Gassy today which always happens just before af Blush

kissinggiraffe · 15/11/2014 03:11

If af arrives this cycle I am unsure about ttc next cycle. I've just realised If I did get a lovely bfp next cycle I would be due slap bang in the middle of a family holiday that is booked and paid for. I will be gutted to feel that I am 'wasting' a cycle but obviously can't travel and be on hols when due. Although obviously chances are I wouldn't get a bfp anyway....I don't know what to do! (damn insomnia creates waaaaaay to much thinking time Grin )

TerrysNo3 · 15/11/2014 00:54

thanks all but I don't think I need to see a doc at the moment, it's not a bad pain just a sharp one, more like ovulation pains than AF ones but it just started me worrying about getting a BFP but then thinking about the possibility of another ectopic. I think that worry will always be with me though.

blue sorry your holiday was not as you wanted, you should do what I do on my first day back at work after a holiday.... start planning your next one! Smile

terrys hope you're ok. You could ring the Nhs helpline if you're worried. I have rung a few times and they were great.

Blue500 · 14/11/2014 22:49

Hi all, despite being on sunny (ish) hols in Spain I just had to get on my wifi and escape! Dh and I are away with his parents and despite hoping for a really nice relaxing time I ended up with tonsillitis on the first day so I've been dosed up with antibiotics all week - so dtd has been on hold and I seriously hope the pills are not going to effect ovulation this weekend. Sad
And then on top of that the in-laws have spent all week talking about their other son and SIL dd and her latest bump, which ended just now with getting an email of SIL 20wk scan. Urgh just feel like it's being rubbed in mine and DH face how we haven't got pg yet. I know it's unintentional but it just makes me feel so down. Hmm

So sorry to rant on. Just a mixture of feeling down and the holiday not being the relaxing time I had hoped for.

Many congrats to all the latest bfp's and sorry to those feeling low and feeling that af is looming. Thanks

Treaclepie19 · 14/11/2014 22:31

I've had your share of the wine ladies!!!

Cariad2014 · 14/11/2014 22:17

P.S. Sorry to hear about your friend Frolic. Watching Children In Need, and it's also reminding me that we have much to be thankful for.

Cariad2014 · 14/11/2014 22:15

I resisted the wine Frolic. As we're not ttc next cycle, I figure that not drinking between now and the middle of next week shouldn't be too big a sacrifice!

Frolicacid · 14/11/2014 22:12

A few cramps for me tonight. No sign of af yet. I will hopefully get some frer's in the post tomorrow so will test Sunday if I'm still in.

Thank you my lovely. I hope so too! Did you go for the wine? I didn't in the end. I'm feeling a bit emotional after seeing my poorly friend today and may get to the bottom too quickly if I open a bottle.
I have noticed that I eat more when I don't drink. Over the past month I have been really going for it on the pudding front. I don't usually bother as I hate sweet things and booze together. Tonight's treat was salted caramel and chocolate magnum type things from tesco. Mmmmmm!

kissinggiraffe · 14/11/2014 21:53

ooh I forgot....I am experiencing a lot of heartburn. I've been eating lots of chocolate before I join slimming world next week!! SYMPTOMGrin

kissinggiraffe · 14/11/2014 21:46

terrys if you are worried, get checked out. Thanks

kissinggiraffe · 14/11/2014 21:44

Congratulations 247 well done to you Smile
What happened to the rest of today's poas party??

I'm trying to watch children in need. Some of the stories are heart breaking. Making me feel very fortunate indeed.

CD 26, 11 dpo. I miscalculated slightly so af is actually due 16/17 Nov instead of 18/19.
Not much happening with symptoms (real or imaginary!) Still having af cramps but not as bad as a couple of days ago. Quite a lot of cm, not sure if that happens every month. I dont normally pay much attention Blush

broodylicious · 14/11/2014 20:48

247, fantastic news!! Congratulations!! Come join us in the antenatal groupSmile

terrys, I'm keeping everything crossed that all is well with you. Many hugs and reassuring back pats/arm rubs/hand holding xxThanksThanks

What an absolute shit about your windows blueberry. I would've expected your window company to have known/at least be aware you could've been in a conservation area so to alert you before placing the order?! Grrrr. The window company we had made an almighty cock up too the other week - surveyor came out to measure but forgot to do a brick match and so we ended up with bright yellow bricks filling up where they'd taken out the patio doors, instead of ones with just a slight lemon hue (think banana yellow next to a dirty lemon sorbet colour and you've got what it looked like!)

Haven't had much time to read through religiously but I hope all you ladies are ok. Keep on shagging and poas, you will get your bfp ah, what a wonderful doctor/life coach I'd be....Wink

Cariad2014 · 14/11/2014 20:22

P.S. Terrys - thinking about it, I think the better advice is that even before you get a BFP, if the pains continue/ you're still worried, then I definitely think you should get some medical advice. I'm no medical expert (as I'm sure you can tell) and I'm sure the chances of a ruptured ectopic under 4 weeks are slim, but when you've only got one remaining tube, it's almost invariably better to be safe than sorry.

TerrysNo3 · 14/11/2014 20:21

thanks all, sorry I was being such a downer, I need to get my PMA back! Smile

The hospital told me when I left that if I ever get pregnant again I need to call the doctors straight away and get booked into epu so I would do that.

I still have the sharp pain, it's nothing like AF cramps. yet again I must be patient... not my forte! Smile

victoria401 · 14/11/2014 20:11

Hope you're ok Terrys x

Promising signs bluesky, good luck!

coffee I feel the same about life beug on hold for ttc. Dh thinks I dwell on it far too much that its not healthy, prob right! I hate not being able to plan something 6-12 months away "just in case".

blueberry sorry about your windows hun. That sucks big time.

Sorry for the bfn tooth.

frolic, yes we do need to be thankful we've got our health...

Cariad2014 · 14/11/2014 20:06

Oh Terrys - it's only natural after an ectopic to be scared, and I know that I'd be freaking out if I had sharp pains in my left side, even though I managed a ruptured ectopic last time with no one sided pains whatsoever. I'd try not to get too worried about it right now, and if you do get a BFP, get a super early scan just to be on the safe-side. As I keep reminding myself, the chances of another ectopic after you've had one are still pretty low. Not that this stops me worrying. Enormous hugs Flowers

Blueberry - sorry about your window nightmare - sounds like the last thing you need right now. Wine and snuggles sounds like a plan though. I also wanted to thank you for your recommendation of cake to cheer me up - it's definitely worked over the past few days.

Sorry you've had a rubbish day Victoria - I hope a night in with DH makes you feel better.

Loving the symptoms Bluesky and MrsM - frequent urination has been a definite sign for me when I had my BFPs (although I did manage to "give myself" this symptom on the August bus by drinking huge quantities of water.) Fx this is your cycle.

Waves at Frolic - I really hope this is your month.

toothachereturns · 14/11/2014 19:32

Congrats 247!
Oh Terry I hope it's just hormonal twinges. But Def get it checked out.

How are you all?

I poas yesterday at 13dpo and it was very much BFN. Sad It was tescos own brand. Clinging to the fact it might have been a rubbish test. AF cramps arrived with a vengeance yesterday but gone today Hmm . AF due on Sunday tho and fully expect her to arrive. Sad

Ho hum.... at least I will be able to have Wine at my parents Ruby wedding anniversary celebration next weekend!
