Blue sky, hope you settle in to your new house soon, have you moved far?

I don't know if it's really af, I've felt like af was on her way last couple of days but discounted it because it's so early so when I wiped and saw brownish blood I'm guessing it's af. Just have to wait till morning and then I'll know for sure. I can handle it being af so long as the soy doesn't mess any further cycles up and they return to normal!!

Blueskygirl30 · 08/11/2014 21:33

Oh Spinning Flowers is it definitely AF? Couldn't be that you ov'd early and implantation? Hopeful thinking!!

Ohlordy thank you, I'll order some of that!! And try and find a way to avoid having to go there!

ohlordyplordy · 08/11/2014 21:29

Bluesky avon skin so soft dry oil spray is meant to be excellent at repelling insects, due to the combination of essential oils it contains. Might be worth a try.

spinningirl10 · 08/11/2014 21:25

Hmmm it would seem I've skipped ov and the 2ww and gone straight to af.....wtf!!!!! Only cd 16 so if this really is af I won't definitely won't be taking soy next cycle. I just hope my cycle returns to normalSad

Blueskygirl30 · 08/11/2014 21:20

toots I didn't know deet was harmful too. Hmm, I could just keep my jacket on but I'll definitely be outside at both dusk and dawn as that's when we arrive and depart.

tootssw17 · 08/11/2014 21:16

Deet is probs v harmful as it is truly toxic.... Maybe something natural? Long sleeves etc should be ok?

spinningirl10 · 08/11/2014 20:56

Mampo, sorry af arrivedThanks I hope the funeral goes as well as it can, I'm sure you'll give him a good send off, take careThanks

Angela, sorry your sil was insensitiveThanks

Blueskygirl30 · 08/11/2014 20:54

MaMaPo I'm sorry you're having such a rubbish time at the moment, and the witch arriving to make it worse. Take care of yourself Flowers

lucieloos · 08/11/2014 20:54

So sorry mamapo, hope the funeral goes as well as it can. Hugs ThanksThanks

Blueskygirl30 · 08/11/2014 20:53

Evening ladies,

I've just read back over the past couple of days. My brain is mush after spending the day sorting out our new house so I can't remember who has said what, I do apologise.

Sorry for those with BFNs, I reckon you're all too early. I stopped poas early after spending a fortune on tests, including around 12 one month when AF was 9 days late.

Hooray for everyone who's ovulating/ovulated/DTD. I quite like the first week after ovulation, the stress is over about whether we'll get to dtd or not and I shouldn't really be symptom spotting although I always am anyway, pregnancy cramps at 1dpo...standard!

Cariad hugs to you. Most of my friends have babies and whenever I see them one of them asks when I'll be joining the 'baby club', I really want to say something sarcastic about their exclusive membership or just slap her.

I am meant to be going to a country with high risk of malaria later this month, I'm due to go when I'll be 11dpo. I'll poas that morning but if it's a bfn then would you take the malaria tablets or risk getting malaria? I'm thinking I'll not take them, cover myself im deet and stay in an air conditioned room for the whole time (only 24hrs) and hope I'm safe from mossies.

MaMaPo · 08/11/2014 20:48

Farewell ladies. AF arrived yesterday (a day early) and now I'm at the airport to fly to NZ for my grandfather's funeral so everything seems very grim indeed.

Best of luck to you. I'm out.

Isabeau1980 · 08/11/2014 19:41

cariad Flowers

I don't have words but know that I am thinking of you.

Joey0805 · 08/11/2014 19:23

Angela - what your sil said was totally insensitive and unnecessary. The one thing I will say though is that I have also come off my epilepsy meds to conceive and I am willing it I happen quickly because being off the meds is terrifying. So she might be doing the same - that it might take me a year or more is something I honestly can't face up to and if she feels like that too what she said might be what she wants rather than really believes. That said she shouldn't have said what she did to you - totally uncool and shows a serious lack of empathy because what you are going through is so hard. Dont know if that helps at all?

victoria401 · 08/11/2014 19:08

The first 9 months we just had sex! Then I started looking online why we aren't preg and found mumsnet! Thought, hmmm this must be more scientific than I thought and started tracking cm and plotting in apps on my phone! I never dreamed all this went on behind people's closed curtains! Lol!

northgoingzax · 08/11/2014 18:32

AF due today - no AF but BFN :( ah well haven't been trying long

angelaham · 08/11/2014 18:28

Victoria you are in the same company as us, i have been trying for 5 months which is not long at all i know, i was so naive thinking first month and id be pregnant, now if i see a pregnant lady i have a respect for how much she may have waited to get pregnant , we will get there one way or another

victoria401 · 08/11/2014 18:15

My mum said I was conceived in cycle 1 and my sister in cycle 2, rub it in why don't you mother! My sisters first dd was an accident from a missed pill! We've been doing anything we can for nearly 2 years, no fair. My best friend also conceived cycle 1 and hoped it would take longer as it was her dh's wish to start ttc as soon as they married. But she "knows how I feel" because her 2dd took 6 months. Hmmmm not quite the same.....

angelaham · 08/11/2014 17:04

Thanks Mrs E and Dozy, she has been told it will be about a year when she can start trying after coming off her pills and taking out her coil and checks, i fully understand it will be hard for her as she may go back to having fits , just wish i kept my mouth shut about it all, one of my close friends has a baby and she has gave me advice which is just acting normal in my daily life and that it will happen and to stop worrying, it took her around 6 months and she has been so lovely to me, and my other friend who is pregnant and i am totally excited that she is having a baby as she has been so broody and didn't think it would ever happen, it is so nice to be around people that are supportive and wishing you best intentions also like all of you on here, I'm so pleased i have found this site and all of you lovely people

Dozygirl · 08/11/2014 16:54

Oh no angela that didn't sound very sensitive of your sis In law.

I know that if I get pregnant soon that although I'll be happy I'll also feel guilty because I know two of my friends are ttc and one has been trying for over a year. So I really hope that she gets her BFP before me. Maybe we'll end up at the same time which would be nice but I genuinely would be upset for her if it was me first. They've had tests and its come back fine so far so not sure why it's not happening for them.

Beansprout30 · 08/11/2014 16:45

Hi everyone, havent posted much but have been following the thread, disappointed there were no bfps this morning.

10dpo today and I was expecting af as temp has been low the last two days, but this morning I woke up realising id slept with my mouth open so took temp again after I fell asleep after another two hours and temp had gone up again so ive kinda dismissed my charting as I don't think it's v accurate.

Cheapo sticks fell on my door mat this morning and mil picked up the package, thank fully the envelope didn't give much away as nobody knows we are ttc. Poas just because there are 15 in the pack but bfn. Evenif I ddon't get bfp this month, am keeping fingers crossed for longer lp

lovemyboy247 · 08/11/2014 16:33

Any one using clear blue digital opk. I havehad 5 flashing smileys in a row but no solid smiley yet. Im on day 19 of cycle?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 08/11/2014 16:27

Angela completely ignore your sister. Sisters I know because i have one can be so very Envy! She's probably came over all prickly as actually it's probably going to be quite hard for her with epilepsy. She will have been told probably some scary things. I have a friend who is epileptic and it's been a very difficult path indeed. But generally ive never known sisters to be anything but competitive with it comes to babies. It's such a delicate subject for so many. Chat to us instead we will talk about ttc forever! Thanks

lovemyboy247 · 08/11/2014 16:19

Hi I have just joined the site. TTC number 2 since july. Hope november is my month. To early to test but havr had a headach, runny nose and cramps for days now and this morning I managed to set the oven glove on fire. Im doing some solly stuff. Prob just hoing mad Smile

MissMrsMummy · 08/11/2014 16:07

Ps also sorry for BFNs but they were pretty early so don't be disheartened!

Nutella id say you might not have ov'd yet but not sure why you had fertile cm earlier this week. Sometimes your body gears up for ov but it doesn't happen, then happens later.

MissMrsMummy · 08/11/2014 16:05

Goodness me, so many posts today. I must try to check in more often!

Sorry for all of you finding it tough and having insensitive friends. Really doesn't help.

Thankfully we haven't been frozen out by our friends who are parents but they always invite us out with their kids or to their parties but DH and I just come home wanting babies even more!

I think I am 2dpo here and still dtd out of desperation as we didn't get going eearly enough in the week! Still not sure if my temps show ov but have attached here for anyone who'd like to cast an eye! Don't fully trust today's temp as barely slept and woke up loads in the night.

Anyone got nice plans for this eve?
