Heaven, my ttc app Ovuview classes spotting as the end of a cycle, and light AF as the start of a new cycle. I guess you might call heavy spotting "light" AF?

Heaven - I'm not 100% sure, but would assume from the day of spotting. Only because if you're spotting then your lining is starting to shed then. There might be some more knowledgable ladies who can tell you for sure though?

This cycle feels slow already for me and I haven't even ovd yet! The 2ww is going to be horrendous! X

Hi all, as I'm out for this month I'm redoubling my efforts for this new cycle and have a query that I'm hoping you knowledgeable ladies can help me with. Apologies in advance if this is tmi but but I'm struggling to pin down the start of my cycle as I have heavy spotting for 3-4 days (panty pad amount) before I'm in full swing and need proper sanitary products.

Should I make start of spotting or the heavier bit my CD1?

Really sorry to ask but don't know where else to turn to and have put a BFP at the top of my Xmas wishlist! :)

Hi guys, I'm out this month! 3 days late, and it started a couple of hours after an exam for work. I've been stressing about it for the last few weeks, is it possible that it was holding on until the stress went away? Weird.

Are you using digital or the line based ones? The test line has to be darker for it to count as a positive. It would be unusual to have seven days of positives. X

OPKs still positive after 7 days of testing, is that normal? I had no CM at all until today and it was CW. Second cycle after Mirena removal.

I got a high fertility result in clear blue dual hormone test today so fingers crossed I'm back on track after last months wtf cycle and I'll see peak fertility in the next couple of days! X

I'm doing ok thanks Sam. Trying not to think about it too much as I just know it hasn't happened this month. No symptoms to speak of apart from the spotty chin I always get before I'm due on. Hoping that the acupuncture makes my cycle a bit longer though so fully expecting period to be late.

Its so hard, im really tempted to test later on this evening (not pee'd since 8am this morning so im hoping to test at 5ish and see) im due af tomorrow but i havent slept in two nights worrying and hoping. I just need to know so i can sleep. :( ovulated around 1st-3rd, so i should in theory get a answer soon!

Welcome to the thread and I hope that you and all the other ladies on this thread manage to get BFPs soon. I have been lurking for a bit and would encourage any one else who is feeling shy to post. It's so good to know others are going through the same thing. I'm trying not to obsess too much about all of this and am hoping and trusting that it will happen naturally.

I think it is possible to delay af esp with worrying...hairstylist and rubmylamp it is so frustrating they need to invent a 'your deffos not pregnant stop peeing on a stick' stick. :D prior to ttc i thought getting pregnant would be a breeze with the worry only starting after the birth!

Hello all... Just started my TWW. OPKs ben getting lighter for the last 2 days.

2nd Cycle (I think - had Mirena out early October and bled on and off for 4 weeks, on day 16 of current cycle, depending on when AF shows up, if she even does!)

First baby with DH, but I have 2 DDs and he has 1 DS.

Sorry third message to nightowl...i was one week late (!) before i got my bfp with my daughter. I had a faint pos two days before af was due and negatives after that. Thought i was going crazy as i had all the right symptoms. So sometimes the little one can be a late implanter or there isnt enough hormones to read. Fingers crossed for you! xx

Sorry for the large ramble essay ive just wrote...ttc is hard and i find i don't have anyone (apart from hubby) to talk to. Its nice to get all the frustration/anxiety/uncertainty off my chest to like minded ladies in the same boat.

I've been ttc since miscarriage in early sep, i was hoping for a positive last month (thought i had one turns out it was a evap line after six negs one faint grey then af showed up ugh!) we're hoping it'll be a positive result this month as we've had a awful year and to top it all my grandma has been diagnosed with the big 'c' two weeks ago :( honestly this year has been the pits! Anyways i have very sore boobs, bloated on the evening and as my new hobby is peeing on sticks i couldnt help to try a early test on friday....got a very, extremely faint line within five mins.As im very impatient i tested again on sat morning and got a neg. ??? im not due till tuesday so, im trying not to get my hopes up....and ive promised my hubby not to take another test till friday so we know for sure. Its so hard and when i fell pregnant with our daughter before we lost her i had a faint pos, then four negs..it took a further week to get a bfp on the digi tests. So since then i dont really trust the tests! Anyways hope i can join and chat too. xxx

Hi again, I am fed up! POAS this morning, two days late, bfn. Getting a lot of pg symptoms though, crampy for a few days, and I never do that. Sore lower back, lightheaded, huge boobs etc. I'm just so fed up of this. Every month obsessing about it, it's enough to make me just forget the whole thing!

Is it possible to get a bfn after you're due and still get a bfp later on? Please someone say yes!
