Hi all, I either ovulated yesterday or today, we dtd last night and Monday and we try tonight too. This waiting is absolute torture!!! First cycle trying for us after having to put it on hold for 5 months and it feels like everyone has got pregnant in that time

No cramping whatsoever today so I'm hoping my worry about AF arriving was a false alarm...

I have cut down caffeine to 1 coffee a day and I'm not a massive boozer anyway so haven't really changed on that front (a couple of glasses of wine a couple of times a week). I'm not keen to give up either until I get a BFP as it could take so lon and I don't want to give up things I love before I need to (same with exercise by the way, did a killer gym session today). As the Xmas season approaches there might be a couple of big nights out I guess but the rough plan is not to stress about it between CD1 and ovulation and to be sensible during the TWW, having lots of water etc.

Hair - I think a couple of glasses of vino is fine, just try to avoid wild nights out during 2ww ??

I'm doing ok, just demolishing a large glass of wine and wondering at what point in the Ttc cycle of drama do you quit alcohol and caffine etc?

Hello everyone! I haven't joined one of these threads for a few months, been getting pessimistic about it all. Been trying for number 2 for about 8 months, starting to feel like it'll never happen! The first one room 5 months so it's not that much longer, but I guess it seems to matter more now that we have a gap to think about, DS is 2.6.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday and we dtd last night. It's hard for us to have loads of sex, we work nights and odd hours so it's tricky to time it right but I think we did this month, hopefully it'll bloody work!

Hi April, I guess I'll test tomorrow if there's still no sign of af... Kinda scared to do it in case it's another neg though.

I'm on cycle 3 ttc #1, I'm 35 so hoping for a quick possitive. Ov today so the TWW is about to begin. May I join you ladies? I'm desperate for a baby but only just in a position to try. Very stressed at the moment so could do with some company :)

Hopeful, earliest I POAS was 4 days before AF was due. I tend to go a bit crazy and test early (even though I know it is likely to be BFN) and then wait until after AF is due though usually she turns up before I have a chance to test again. I think most pregnancy symptoms are due to the pregnancy hormones and they don't kick in until after implantation which is usually 6-9dpo. Extreme tiredness is definitely one of the early symptoms though so FX.

At 7dpo hopefully it is implantation cramping Joey.
MaGrat, sounding very good, apparently lots of women get ill in early pregnancy as the immune system is suppressed.
Sam, sorry for the BFN but hopefully it turns into a BFP soon. It's promising that you've got to CD32 with no AF.
I am a terrible employee at this time of the month. Feel like I have split personality. For 3 weeks of the month I am fine and then in the week before AF I become obsessed and overanalyse every tiny symptom. Last night I had a sudden craving for toblerone - Symptom!!

Hc899 - it does sound too early for symptoms really - but I have heard stories of women who swear that knew they were pg only a couple of days after ov.

Hi everyone. I'm playing the waiting game too, although this is only cycle 1 for me. Did some clear blue ovulation tests during weekend just gone and got a peak fertility smile on sat, and have been feeling mildly sick every day since sun. Surely that's too early for symptoms though? ! Period due 11th Nov so a while to wait yet unfortunately.

That'd be really early for AF Joey...FX it's the other thing...!!

I have a horrible feeling AF is round the corner: I've got cramps and am in a FOUL mood (not because of the cramps! I am always in a filthy mood pre AF). Gutting because it'll mean I'm not preggo bit also I'm only on 7DPO so it would mean a super short luteal phase. Keep your fx it stays away...

Temperature and chills today although I do have sore throat and snuffles so could well be just a bug! Peeing lots more but then again drinking lots due to sore throat so...! Just had quite an odd pain to the left of belly button - like a pinching but in a line. Sore bbs and bullet nipples (sorry tmi) and some white-ish cm (again, sorry tmi!!) 6 or 7 dpo today I think. Still feel tired and dizzy but hard to tell if related to cold or not!

Magrat it's sooo hard. I'm having an especially tough time as the girl I sit next to at work has just told me she's pregnant! I just want it to happen for me too!

I'm currently on cycle day 32 (have only ever had 1 cycle this long before) but bfn this morning.

Hello, can I join? I am on cycle 11 ttc #1, really did not think it would take this long!!
Was trying to take the laid back approach this month but in the last few days I have become slightly very!! obsessive. If I oved around the same time I did last month then I am around 5 dpo. Have had some very mild cramping and lower back pain which I am trying to convince myself isn't like my pre-AF symptoms.
DTD 4 times around ov time and tried soft cups for the first time - FX!

Cycle 4 over here for #1. 6-7 dpo. Although I now seem to have a cough so wonder if my hotness and dizzy spells yesterday are more due to that! Still, who knows. I know we DTD around ov so it's out of our hands now I guess. Trying not to worry or obsess but it's so hard isn't it.
