Hey all
My tww starts again today. 4th cycle. Just had 2 full days of positive opks and lots of bd with dh.

So let the crazy symptom spotting begin and the madness that is the tww.

Anyone else in the tww - hoping to hear lots of bfp stories xx

If you know exactly when AF is due definitely best to wait until it's late li think OR use a FRER a couple of days before. I don't know when I'm due because cycles are a bit all over the place which is why I did a test at 10DPO and then13 DPO.

Re your question on testing... Most ppl will get a bfp on the day of missed period. Some tests are supposedly sensitive enough to detect of a few days before although I can't speak from experience.

Yes... He also said it's not unusual to have a one off weird cycle so I'm trying not to get my hopes up really.

Hopefull - have you done another test??!
Just got back from the doctors, he said that I needed to wait another 10 days as it's apparently not unusual for a bfp not to show until af is 3 weeks late?! 10 MORE DAYS! I'm going to go mad if no a for bfp by then, lol!

As my inlaws are in the house tomorrow am I POAS today instead - BFN. Am 13 DPO (CD 31 long for me) and have had no real symptoms at all so not very surprised. Just want AF to come now so I can get on with the next cycle (but no sore boobs, no cramps, nothing to indicate it's on it's way). Seriously hoping you guys have a bit more luck!! Oh and I POAS with FMU and it was a preg test for my advanced CBFM.

Yep im 8-9dpo.
I know thelight going out was a pain I thought it was automatic so started waving my arms around and nothing happened :(
I'm always on here when I'm supposed to be working lol xx

I'll challenge you for worst employee HairSylist...have loads to do but have been on the internet googling. Worst thing is I am googling the exact same things I google every month!! Also, have broken my self imposed ban by coming on here during work time. One of my colleagues just came into my office and had to quickly minimise the page!
This 2ww is dragging but at least I only have a few more days to go. I am the most impatient person ever so think ttc#1 taking so long is mother natures way of teaching me patience.
Hopeful, how annoying that the light went out!

I'm the worst employee ever! I'm supposed to be planning a new major project and writing a major report to the leadership here and all I can do is check mumsnet and rub my belly. Gaaaaah.

Ok I've finally lost it. Had another bad bout of nausea this morning so have just gone into boots boughtt a frer and then gone into the only shop with a loo - mamas and papas (the irony) to poas. The light gave out whilst waiting my 3 mins so dashed to the car. Now I'm sat in car park checking no one I know is around so I can check the stick! This is totally out of character for me ......... ps I think I've now left the test to long to be reliable. I see a clear line so poss a evap. And the wait continues ......

Wow crazy symptoms everywhere, hopeful it sounds early but definitely those symptoms sound like early pg. and vivid dreams, got to be a sign. Is it just me or are these days dragging by very slowly? Slowest two weeks in history.

Lol to the dream! I dreamt last night that I was pg but my bump was detachable and when I went to put it back on it had doubled in size!

Hi April, yes I have an appointment after work but after 10 days of bfn I don't think their going to tell me anything different.
Mother Nature is cruel, we've been trying for so long and finally I miss a period only for it to be for no reason at all ??

Hopeful, I don't think that's too early for symptoms. Heartburn, nausea and tiredness definitely sound promising.
Sam, sorry you're still in limbo. You must be pretty fed up by now. Did you say you're off to the GP today?

Hi chubbocat. No af yet, but another bfn. That's it now, not poas anymore! Such a waste of money.

Should also say I'm so tired. With working having my dd and ds and running a small craft business im worn out. Will start poas from the end of the week xx

TWW for me! first month TTC, so not expecting a BFP, have had awful AF cramps for the past 4 days but no AF yet, keep thinking i am getting it but just have cm. Boobs arent as sore as they usually are. Keep thinking i am out for this month but have NEVER had such bad cramps without AF! samc85 did you get your AF?

April - I sometimes get pre af symptoms but not normally a full week before only normally a few days.
I had awful heartburn last night before bed that bad I practically slept sat up. Anyway woke up about 2 Ish and was really nauseous. Woke again feeling the sane this morning. Could it be to early for pg symptoms at 8-9 dpo?

NoArmani: yes it's possible, but even taking my longest ever previous cycle of 32 days that still makes me 5 days late so would expect a bfp by now really. Seeing the dr tomorrow evening.
