For anyone TTC or thinking about TTC with Soy Isoflavones

I may be wrong poco but I think 750mg is too high a dose, the Max taken is 200mg? Someone may be along soon to correct me though

Can anyone help me? My soy was delivered today and says Soy germ complex (2% soy isoflavones) 750mg. How many do I need to take?

I usually only ever get one day of EWCM so it's thrown me a bit ! We DTD yesterday anyway & probably do it tomorrow. My stupid Ovia app keeps swapping & changing my fertile times which doesn't help, nor the fact that the opks I'm using never show a surge! Why don't they work for me? I know I ovulate as I got pregnant last month, it's so annoying!

Sorry rant over. It's frustrating to have these "tools" to help you can conceive when it actual fact all the day is conFUSE!

Hi all. I'm on CD 16 and have had EWCM yesterday and the day before with a strong negative OPK and a temp drop this morning which I think means I will get a pos OPK today and ov tomorrow or today. Took soy 2-6 this month. Don't think it's changed my cycle at all, I normally have a long one and a short one. I "feel" fertile this month which is nice!

Anyone testing yet?

I'm after some advice: AF arrived this morning meaning I have been trying now for 6 months. Have never tracked cycles before ttc so didn't think anything was different but have discovered my cycles are quite long and irregular (have ranged from 27-35 days) and ov is also late, usually around days 19-21. Not connected to the pill as have never been on hormonal contraceptive.

Do you think taking soy would be beneficial for me? Has anyone taken it for similar reasons? If so, how much and which days? Thanks x

Hi Disney! Interesting to see what you said about EWCM on your soy-free cycle. I'm treating my chemical pregnancy like a period but not doing soy. I've had a few days of what I'd consider EWCM but really early on in my cycle (I usually 16-19) so don't know if I've ov'd early or not. If so, I'm pretty sure I've missed my window

I thought you only EWCM just before ov-ing? Can you get a few days of it? I'm so confused & a bit cheesed off

I took SOY on days 3-7 on my last cycle. It was an unusual cycle compared to normal and I do wonder if the SOY is partly responsible. I have very irregular cycles, the one prior to taking SOY was56 days. The first soy cycle was 43 days, not sure if/when I ovulated as I don't temp or OPK, my CM was much reduced, had no EWCM that I noticed, but did have lots of creamy CM after about CD 26 (ish). I had spotting on CD24, 27 and 30 (which I've never had before). AF arrived on Friday, it's very light compared to normal and now at the end of CD3 of next cycle and preparing to take Soy again AF has practically gone (I'm normally at least 4 days of AF and this time has been 2.5 days).

Has anyone else's cycles changed since taken soy and experienced unusual symptoms compared to normal?

Ff has me ovulating last Wednesday based on temps. My rise was gradual and not as early as last month. I'm not sure what to make of it all really. DH is poorly so we have barely dtd, so I revjon I am out this cycle.
I have had a few crazy moods in the last week or so. A close friend had a baby and work has been mental. But if I'm honest I think it's the whole ttc thing making me crazy. Going to try and chill out over the whole thing and enjoy christmas.

Toots, I've had some cracking headaches, but my skin has been fine. I took it days 3-7 and am now on cd24. Got my smiley face on cd18, which is a few days later than usual for me.

Has anyone had awful teenager style skin since soy taking? I look shocking!!

Hi ladies.

Been following this for a while, and started taking soy this cycle. I know for some people they seem to have a bit less cm, but has it gone the other way for anyone else, as I've had loads more than usual? Had the headaches etc when I was taking them, but no other effects.

I'm pretty consistent with temping new. Pretty much ways within an hour. And I never wake in the night.
My cm is back to dry / sticky.

Fuck knows what is going on.it's so hard not to obsess. DH has a cold and isn't up for sone just in case dtd. He had one this time last cycle. I feel
So irrationally upset today. Everyone I know is pregnant or recently had a baby. Maybe we'll just give up for this month and get pissed

Ah no . What's your cm like? Any chance you have messed with your temps because of night waking or taking then at different times?

I've not had a temp rise, despite positive ovulation signs.
Looks like soy hasn't managed to bring ov forward for me this month. I'm tired and fed up of dtd!

Also amazon stocks them but they were more expensive and eBay stocks them. They have fantastic reviews but who knows, the proof is in the getting duffed

That sounds interesting new. Where do you get it from? I have tried cough medicine this cycle. It seems to have worked as I have had more watery discharge and some ewcm. But it tastes vile, so I would prefer a tablet.

Cd 15 for me today and I have a strong positive opk. Looks like soy has bought my on forward again this cycle . I just need the sperm to meet the egg now!

Does anyone usually get chin spots around ovulation? I know some people say they can indicate what side you are ovulating from. I always get one around ov, but if this month's chin is anything to go by I have two whopping eggs o the left and three little ones on the right!

I'm cd 4/5 spotting finished yesterday. My periods are only ever three days long with a day spotting at the end. The soy cycle was definitely weirder as I spotted before AF which I don't remember doing before, hence not really knowing what day to class as CD1.

Trying to not obsess and have managed quite well so far but today 7 dpo and did an opk yesterday and today just out of curiosity since didn't want to waste proper tests yet and It was darker today . Boobs are sore as hell and have been having lower back pain and can feel my right ovary again ever since ov really it's kind of worse now twinges in elsewhere in my belly too . Damn I hate this second week of 2ww. I've had 4 cp this year so not very hopeful but always praying for a miracle of course . It's also my first soy cycle and wondering how it's affecting me . Cycle dates seemed the same so far.

We've been away for a few days so not posted. I've had a quick read back and am sorry to hear AF has arrived for some of you.

I'm on cd 14 today. I took soy days 3-8 and am hoping that ovulation is imminent.
new I have been swigging cough medicine for a week now and my General discharge has increased a lot. It's turned to ewcm this evening, so fx I'll get a temp rise and positive opk in the next few days.
