I will be starting soy isoflavones tomorrow, cd 3.

This will be my 11th cycle TTC, with two chemical pregnancies/ early miscarriages @ about 5weeks so far this year already.

I've read up quite a lot on SI, and just at the point now where I'm thinking, what the hell, I'll give it a go!

Anybody else TTC with soy isoflavones?

I was thinking of taking 80mg between cd2-6 just to strengthen eggs.

spinningirl10 · 31/10/2014 15:17

Haha this is the soy thread!! I've probably repeated everything I said down thread, sorryBlush

spinningirl10 · 31/10/2014 15:16

Mama, it's so lovely to see you. Miss you around here. If you check out the conception board there's a thread running about soy. I'm on my 3rd soy cycle now. For 2 cycles I took them cd3-8. First cycle got positive opk on cd11 as normal. Second cycle got positive on cd9! This cycle I'm taking them cd5-9, cd 8 today. My cycle are 28days ish and as I'm older I want to improve egg quality.
It might be worth a go Mama, stats say that 77% of women get their bfp first cycle! How are you doing?Grin

NewEraNewMindset · 31/10/2014 14:40

Awwww well done guys Grin

Is there any dose that you think might work on a regular cycle, OV day 11/12 each month?

Mam31 · 31/10/2014 14:35

Hello ladies. Just came across some of my old pals on here whilst looking up Soy Iso! And very pleased to see Kitty is very pregnant! Congrats!!!!! And English just got your bfp, yay!!!! Congrats to you also!

Spinning hello my friend, I hope you are doing ok?

I am interested in these SI, but have 23-25 day cycle and ov around cd 12/13 however spotting 3-4 days prior. Do you think it would help my LP by bringing ov forward ladies? I'm a soy virgin!

spinningirl10 · 30/10/2014 19:00

Thanks English, I hope so toGrin

Haha Frolic, ooh yes maybe it was a premonitionGrin

Congratulations Probably and English

I'm on CD4 and going to take 120mg of Soy tonight, then 160mg tomorrow and on 200mg on CD6.

Hopefully the Soy will bring BFP's for us all!

Frolicacid · 30/10/2014 15:37

Whoops!! spinning! Maybe I'm having a premonition Grin

Congratulations english.

I just did one of my mid stream opk' sat work!! It was negative, but the line is stronger than Tuesday's so hopefully ovulation is on it's way! We've not managed dtd yet this cycle due to visitors over the weekend and my massive migraine. Hopefully tonight's the night to start getting back into the swing of things.

BabyBump2B · 30/10/2014 10:07

Hi Ladies - I have a pretty regular 26 day cycle. I'm currently on CD6 - is it too late for me to try SI?

Thanks!

Congratulations again EnglishGrin and also to ProbablyGrin

I woke up with a headache again but it seems to be passing so I can live with that.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 30/10/2014 08:38

Thank you Metal. Hope soy bring a you your much longed for sticky bean too hun Smile

Metalhead · 30/10/2014 08:37

Great news ladies, congratulations probably and english! Wishing you both an uneventful nine months to come (especially you english, really hope this is your sticky bean!).

EnglishGirlsReturned · 30/10/2014 07:56

I've been trying for over a year, 2 mcs and now a BFP after 2 cycles of soy! Don't give up ladies! Smile

Frolicacid · 30/10/2014 07:37

Wow!!! Congratulations probably and spinning Flowers. So pleased for you.

I've not really looked into it yet gingerbread. I'm migraine free this morning so will do some research tonight. I hope that the 4 doses makes a difference to my chances. If not, I think I'll try again next cycle and try to time it to coincide with a weekend so any migraine's don't require time off work.

Who's next to test? I'm not due until 20th November - ages away!

GingerbreadHead · 30/10/2014 07:17

Ahh the soy BFPS have begun!! Yehh! Congratulations girls, excellent news! How long were each of you trying for?
Think I'm going to have to up the dose to 150mg a day if no luck this cycle, but keep it at days 4-8.
Loopy I know wouldn't it be amazing! We could start our own statistics thread like that one Disney copied in for us to read!
Frolic urgh sorry about the migraine, you poor thing, I was getting some pretty horrific headaches but they did wear off about lunchtime. Did you manage to find anything out about a link between the 2? Hopefully your 4 days of taking it will have had some effect anyway.

ProbablyEvil · 30/10/2014 06:44

Congratulations English! Thanks

EnglishGirlsReturned · 30/10/2014 06:16

Oh and obviously - congratulations to you too ProbablyEvil!! Smile
