Sleep well those members of the poas party! Wishing you all to wake up with a bfp!

MademoiselleG · 21/10/2014 22:20

Hello all! A few names I recognise here. Very sorry for the bad news today.
Well, my cycle seems to be doing something normal this month, at long flipping last, so I'm hopeful and joining this bus if I may!
Took soy last month and whilst I didn't get a bfp, my cycle was exactly 28 days and I finally had a period, after a post TFMR cycle of nearly 2 months. Not taken any this month, mainly because I forgot! Poas, cbfm, temping and FF addict though, don't you worry.

Stats: ttc #2 but 3rd pregnancy, 1 dd nearly 3, 1 TFMR July 2014, BFP due 7th November

Treacle, eeeek! Fx for you Smile

Thepurplegiraffe · 21/10/2014 22:02

Plus you don't need to be at all companies for ages to get the maternity package, you don't at mine so it might be worth exploring your options if you are really unhappy.

P.s. Katy - I really hope you get your BFP this month, and as Purple says, you'll shortly get to start counting down the weeks until your mat leave.

Cariad2014 · 21/10/2014 21:51

Sorry you're having such a rubbish time at work Katy - big hugs. As someone who loves to plan, the thing I've found the hardest about ttc is the unpredictability of it all. When we first embarked on this journey, I was convinced I'd be on mat leave by the Spring of 2015 at the latest. 1 cp and an ectopic later (with March and May 2015 EDDs respectively) and I think I'll be lucky if I get to go on mat leave before 2015 is out! All of this makes making decisions about work so very difficult. That having been said, if work is really getting you down and you could cope financially without an enhanced mat leave package, I think looking elsewhere is a sensible move. My friend who was in a similar boat got her BFP the month she quit her job.

Katybear123 · 21/10/2014 21:48

Thanks treacle and purple giraffe. I wish it didn't make me so sad and stressed I know it's the worst thing for ttc!!! Great just what I need a head wind for ttc!!

Purple will 100% count the weeks as soon as get bfp. I know 32 wks is the earliest I can go!!! The beauty of working in hr.

Thepurplegiraffe · 21/10/2014 21:40

Hugs Katybear you have my sympathy, I absolutely hated my job before my last pregnancy (still there but things have improved a little bit) and I only stayed for the mat leave. When I got my bfp the first thing I did was work out how many weeks of work I had left. It was worth it in the end.

Treaclepie19 · 21/10/2014 21:37

Hehe, I shall be testing at 6.45 after taking my temp :)

Sorry af arrived gem :(

Sorry things are difficult at work katy :(

Biscuit and ohlordy I am so sorry for ur loses. Please rest and take the time u guys need.

Good luck 2mo those testing

Sunbathing how u get on with scan?

Horrid time this end all work related. I've hated job for a while now, and now with a demerger and mass unrest it's worse. I am dealing with some real bullies right now which sucks and is making me sad. Good old hubbie has been amazing and I'm going to try and stick it till Xmas hope I get a bfp b4 that and if I can't cope resign then.

I'm praying for a bfp this month but not to hopeful. I did all the right things but I guess it just might not be. Cd25 going to wait till 14 days from cbfm peak to test if af doesn't get me first. Have abandoned netball tonight Just in case. Did jump about in gym today but figure that's got to b ok. Sorry such a sad thread tonight.

I hate adding to the downer girls but I think my period has arrived :-( oh well. Onwards we go... Xxx

Treaclepie19 · 21/10/2014 20:44

Ok between moaning every 2 seconds about a pain full nipple and having to jump off the sofa every few minutes with leg cramps and on top of that being out of breath when I sit back down. DH has decided something is definitely going on :p

angelaham · 21/10/2014 20:17

So sorry to hear of your sad news Ohlordy and Some sort, so horrible to have your hopes dashed but hoping next time will be better

spinningirl10 · 21/10/2014 20:14

Genni....sunbathing and MrsE we're complaining about itching when they were first pregnant!!!! Symptom for sureGrin

MaGratgarlik1983 · 21/10/2014 20:11

Oh lordy and Somesort I am so sorry for your losses. CPs are so horrible - to be so happy about bfp then to have it snatched away. The stats are a comfort in a way but it still sucks. I would also recommend the ladies over on the ttc after an mc thread - they're brilliant - and also getting lots of IRL support and doing things non-ttc related can help. Thoughts are with you both [hugs]

Sorry to hear the sad news from ohlordy and somesort. Sending virtual hugs. Such a sad thing to happen.

Still no +ve opk for me. Getting fed up, I get so excited seeing a positive stick haha. Held onto my wee for ages too coz I was late home from work and I'd not taken one with me. Wish I had now so u couldve tested twice. Got two days of positive last month tho so suppose it's ok. Will still try dtd tonight in case it'll be tomorrow. Wish I got a warning when it was gonna happen!

TheGrandHighWitch · 21/10/2014 20:04

Oh I am so sorry SomeSortOfDeliciousBiscuit. It has not been a good day on the bus today Sad. I really hope tomorrow brings better news for you ladies who are due to test.
