Stupid body, had sore boobs for far longer than normal and Af has been hiding. Grr...

Furtivefeline - sorry to read your post. Take a look at foresight preconception care. I know a few people that have used them and we did after my ectopic pregnancy. They have some research behind them too which looks positive. Best of luck xx

Hope you don't mind me gate crashing please. I had an ectopic in the summer. Been trying since and just got my bfp. Period started on 2october but I think I ovulated on day 5 as been charting but my chart said I either ovulated in day 5 or day 18 (positive opks on both). I think I must have ovulated early as surely I would nt get a positive 5days post ovulation. Trying to work it out as will want an early scan to check it is a good pregnancy this time. Thanks for any advice xx

We are the opposite though. I always get spotting for a couple of days before af so it's weird to have had nothing yet. But not getting my hopes up yet.

I'm not in full flow yet but feel like it might come overnight so the trusty tampons have been deployed, obviously I hope I'm wrong though! Would prefer a 'squeaky tampon' and a BFP over AF any day

I'm ok thanks, spotting stopped. If I wasn't temping I would definitely have thought it was an implantation bleed......not that I've had one before but I never spot before af. Anyway I'm quite chilled out about it and I have dairy milk whole nut

Thank you flower, yep I'm hanging in there for now. Given up symptom spotting and actually feeling much more relaxed about the whole thing. No sign of af yet and today is CD28. Cycles vary 26-29 days though. I'll test again Saturday if nothing happens. That would be CD30 so would be 1 day late even for a long cycle.

My feelings are a mixture of excitement and dread! Which I know is to be expected.
Symptom wise I am absolutely ravenous and pretty tired. Although it could just be my lifestyle. My tummy did turn at fried food and seems to be craving healthy or bland stuff like soft plain noodles, baked potato etc I suppose that is a good thing.

I had cramps yesterday but thankfully none now :)
Like you, if all goes well I will go for an early scan for reassurance I think.

Enormous hugs Furtive. As English rightly says, knowledge is power, even if it doesn't feel like that right now. Don't give up hope, you WILL get there. I'm also a huge acupuncture fan, so would definitely recommend investigating this alongside any medical assistance if you haven't done so already.

Here's to positive thoughts for future and loads of bfps in Pregtober / Pregvember. It sounds like everyone is getting to grips with cycles, soy, temping etc x

Furtive, sorry to hear you're test results aren't what you wanted to hear. I think you've had some good advice here. I really hope you get the help you need and get your sticky bfp soon

English, ahh how sweet of your Aunt.

Sorry to hear that furtive, we are also faced with low sperm motility so I know how it feels to get results like that. There is lots than can be done though. Get dh on a good multivitamin and 1000mg of vitamin C, zinc and selenium. Sperm count can be improved as can low progesterone. Don't give up hope. I am having acupuncture and she has also recommended it for DH too so that could be an option for you too. Also don't rely on just the one semen analysis. So many factors can affect the results, they always recommend getting a retest to confirm.

My consultant has recommend icsi for dh and I should we not have any luck by next year.
