Morning ladies, nearly the end of another month!!how time is flying!
I wanted to ask an exercise related question if possible; what are everyone's thoughts on strenuous exercise during obulation and 2ww? It's my 'fertile' window at the mo - don't temp or use OPKs but I can tell by cm, cramps and ovia. During this time should I continue exercise as normal - or is there anything I should avoid? Want to go to a body pump class tonight but they do some hardcore ab exercises - would want to do anything that may jeopardise TTC? Also am I right in thinking running and spinning etc are fine if you are fit and used to it?

EnglishGirlsReturned · 20/10/2014 09:55

Teenie - by all means give it a go, but bringing ov earlier doesn't necessarily mean you'd have a longer lp. You're lp usually stays the same, so you'd prob have a shorter cycle. Some ladies have taken vitB6 to lengthen their lp.

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 20/10/2014 09:24

Sorry frolic make sure you have some Wine tonight Thanks

Af has gawn now so gearing up to start poaopk and dtd!

Morning all!

Good luck today Mrs E, really hope you get the iron injection

Sorry AF got your Frolic FlowersWine

That made me lol Treacle - "I didn't test... I was just tempted." It is so very tempting at this point though. Me and OH have decided I am going to poas on Saturday, that's if AF doesn't get me first.

A quick question to the ladies who currently take soy - this is my third cycle and I seem to ovulate rather late around CD18/19. Last two cycles haven been 27 and 28 days. Would you recommend soy for me to bring on ov earlier and therefore have a longer lp?

CD28, cramping since ovulation but now that AF is due I'm terrified every time I go to the toilet. I woke up at 4am this morning positive that she had got me but nothing... Stitch like feeling in lower right of my pelvis and get very uncomfortable if I eat too big a meal... Symptoms? Eurgh, need my heading looking at!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 20/10/2014 08:45

Step away from the hpts Treacle!!
Good luck in the new job Genni!
Sorry AF got you Frolic - what a bitch. But at least, like you say you're out of Limbo.
MrsE good luck with the haemotologist!
Terry's - I'd just get the Tesco Soys if I were you. They seem to have had a good result for Kitty and MrsE! They're 40mg, so take a maximum of 5 tablets.
Can't believe im only 4dpo.... Yawn! I'm wishing my bloody life away!

spinningirl10 · 20/10/2014 08:42

Treacle I was tempted to poas this morning as well but couldn't face seeing one lonely lineGrin

spinningirl10 · 20/10/2014 08:36

Terry, they are natures aid, 50mg £18.20 a bottle. Hope that helps you to find them. If not I can try and link but might not be for a while.

Frolic sorry af arrivedThanks

Genni good luck in your new job todayGrin

TerrysNo2 · 20/10/2014 08:26

Good luck in your new job Genni, I'm sure it will all be fine Thanks

Frolicacid · 20/10/2014 07:36

Woke up to big temp drop and the arrival of my period. Ah well, at least I'm out of limbo.

Good luck to everyone who is still in with a chance of a pregoween BFP. I will keep lurking to see how you all get on.

gennibugs · 20/10/2014 07:16

Morning all.

I have a good feeling about this week - I think we'll be seeing some bfps before the week is out! There are some awesome charts and symptoms about!

Re soy I'm going to try it next month if no bfp this month, it can't hurt to try one cycle can it!

spinning I've had high temps since ov, they are a little up and down but no implantation dip sadly. But we'll see!! I've had mild cramping yesterday and today which normally heralds AF, fx she stays away!

I start a new job today (same company but different role and offices). I'm so nervous it's unreal!!!

Treaclepie19 · 20/10/2014 07:01

I haven't tested :) was just tempted.

Tranquilitybaby · 20/10/2014 06:55

No no please for your sake, wait a couple more days xx

Treaclepie19 · 20/10/2014 06:54

*If I get that far. Gosh can you tell I'm tired?

Treaclepie19 · 20/10/2014 06:54

Hehe yay! :)
If I get that from :p
i was looking back to when I got my bfp... My temp did exactly the same, at 10dpo it went down and I tested expecting bfn and it was a bfp.
I could of course only be 8dpo but thinking about that has given me hope.
Was very tempted to test though thinking back to that.

Tranquilitybaby · 20/10/2014 06:54

Good luck to you boosk and treacle x

Boosk · 20/10/2014 06:50

Morning ladies, just a quick hello.

Only two more days till we can poas treacle!Smile

Treaclepie19 · 20/10/2014 06:47

*good

Treaclepie19 · 20/10/2014 06:47

Haha yes maybe a little bit crazy :p

Well I'm either 8 or 10dpo and my temp dropped. Still above coverline. If im 8dpo it's a goof sign but if im 10dpo it's probably af :(

spinningirl10 · 20/10/2014 06:19

Morning Grin

Ah Chandler, 35mg is fine! The initial ones I bought from H&B were 750mg Shock it was the only ones they had but you were in London so probably have more choice there. There was also a lady on the conception boards who's bought and been taking the high dosage ones.

Frolic, pleased you enjoyed your pub dinner.

Cariad, fx af arrives soon for you. You'll be on the December bus before you know it.

Sunbathing, hope you got some sleep.

MrsE, will be thinking of you this morning.

Temp dropped a little but still high. Genni, how's your temp been?

ChandlersFarang · 20/10/2014 05:45

Thanks Sunbathing, it would be rude for it not to work - although for a 77% success rate there's 23% for whom it didn't... Happy to be in that minority, someone has to be! Lol. Smile

No surprises seeing you online at this time!! Grin Pesky pregnancy insomnia again I take it?! Hope you're enjoying pregnancy - even all the downsides!! I can't wait to have morning sickness GrinGrinGrin

Interesting you don't recommend the Holland & Barrett soy isos Spinning - when I was back in the UK, they were the only ones I had time to buy (no big enough Tescos in Central London). They were 35mg per capsule and apparently for menopause, but ingredients said soy isos so assumed they'd be fine. As you may recall I had a scan on CD11 this cycle and nothing had grown for me, so I'm the one case that failed! Although saying that I have PCOS, so it's a tougher gig to find something that works. In hindsight I should have got the tesco ones and I also should have taken 200mg every day (instead of building from 105mg up to 200 on the last couple). I probably also should have started on CD2 rather than 3. I'll definitely give them another go when I move back to the UK and am inevitably trying again (hopefully for no2!) without the benefit of a cheap Thai fertility system behind me...
