somesort I agree that you definitely deserve your BFP! But I know what you mean about lots of people experiencing a hard time when it comes to TTC, for this reason I never begrudge anyone or wonder why it's not me anymore as I always think they might have struggled to get their BFP.

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 15/10/2014 21:07

flower love the ante natal thread idea! Fx we will all get there. STILL loads of cm and cervix still high... Decided if no af by sat morning I will do another FRER. I hate the waiting!

Oi! None of this 'you've been through loads, I should shut up' bollocks. I won't have it. Bad experiences are all relative. I might have been through shit, but that doesn't mean anyone else's complaints are less valid. They aren't. If you're feeling bad, that's ok and It. Is. Allowed.

flowerbombVR · 15/10/2014 20:52

Good evening ladies

Hope you are all well and good.
I'm just going to catch up with the coming and goings.
Fx there's some more bfps :)

Between us all, we could be between June & July edd providing we all get our bfps soonish. Also some may even be later.
I propose that we have a combined ante natal thread?

Babies conceived during pregoween and thereafter and done before lol x

It is worth pondering Grin
Or is it wishful thinking?

Right I'm going to read back x

CoffeeOne · 15/10/2014 20:11

...which sounded incredibly self indulgent after everything you've been through SomeSort sorry. Such wonderful news I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months :)

christiesmam · 15/10/2014 20:07

Cd 1 again for me Hmm

Frolicacid · 15/10/2014 20:04

some, I can't even begin to imagine all you have been through. I am inspired by your resilience and determinedness to keep on trying. I will cross everything I have that this little bean sticks for you.

Will Someone slap me please? After convincing myself this morning that the temp dip had me out, I have spent all evening obsessively symptom spotting And googling. I need to get a grip! I was pretty good last month (first cycle) but reality has truly left the building this past week!

CoffeeOne · 15/10/2014 20:04

Congrats to the bfps!

AF is here for me :( feeling a bit glum. Best of luck to you all x

Katybear123 · 15/10/2014 19:51

Wow some sort, can't believe what u have been through I wish u huge success over the next 9 months

Mag I couldn't see anything but it's hard in pics, try tomorrow and see.

Am shattered tonight, think it might b 9 am bedtime think all the dtd is knackering me

sparkle17 · 15/10/2014 19:49

It's too pixilated on my phone magrat for me to see the pic properly. Fx it is a line for you.

Treaclepie19 · 15/10/2014 19:45

MaGrat that's like the line I had with my bfp. I'd say a line on a frer no matter how faint is a positive! :)

MaGratgarlik1983 · 15/10/2014 19:37

I'm really not sure spinning due to ovulation confusion (!) but I think between 14 and 17...gah! Keep having symptoms though and my temps are staying high - they dipped on Mon but back up again now - so am so confused tbh.

spinningirl10 · 15/10/2014 19:34

Magrat, I'm not sure either but I think I can see a faint line. How many dpo are you? I would poas with fmu, good luck, keeping fx for you Grin

MaGratgarlik1983 · 15/10/2014 19:30

Finally my FRER from amazon arrived. Couldn't wait and did it when I got in from work. I really am not sure as it's really faint, but think I can see something. What do you ladies think?

Thank you, if it is a sticky one, it'll be the odd one out as me, DH and DS were all born in May and we're all Taurus! Even one of the cats is a May birth.

broodylicious · 15/10/2014 18:55

That's an inspirational story, some, you should be really proud you've come through all that shizzle in the last few years. Really pray this bean sticks for you and you get a lovely healthy June bubba ThanksThanks

spinningirl10 · 15/10/2014 18:53

Pikz, sorry you're spotting, hope your doc can advise you with what's best for you Thanks

Somesort, great stats thank you. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancyGrin

Still no +opk for me, cd13, I hate waitingGrin

SomeSortOfDeliciousBiscuit · 15/10/2014 18:35

That sounds promising, Broodylicious!

Stats? Erm hope I get this right

TTC cycle #3 but only cycle #2 of charting properly, using Fertility Friend. Probably didn't time dtd properly for cycle #1. Ovulation either on day 18 or day 21 as FF can't make its mind up. BFP on day 11/14dpo using a FRER with FMU and then another with SMU. Took it as an internet cheapie showed a very faint 'something' - thicker than an evaporation line and visible within 10 minutes, but not visible on camera. Ovulation test showed a clear second line but not as strong as the control.

No medication. Taking a combination of plain old 400mg folic acid, an odd few pregnacare conception (not too many as they made me spot when I took one every day during the first cycle of trying) and Superdrug's copy of Berocca, which has slightly less than the recommended 400mg of folic acid in it, so I split a folic acid tablet and took half on the days I had one. Obviously only did one of those daily, not all at once!

I had hormonally positive breast cancer and finished my chemotherapy and radiotherapy just under two and a half years ago. My periods never stopped throughout treatment but got a little irregular during chemo. I then took tamoxifen for 18 months which is an oestrogen suppressant, but stopped due to side effects. Came off that in February. I've been told I've left the right amount of time between diagnosis and ttc, as at least two years after treatment is recommended.

I am petrified I can't sustain a pregnancy after all I've been through, as tamoxifen does weird things to the uterus, but my logical side is telling me they might actually be beneficial things as one of the side effects is a thickened womb lining. None of my medical team are worried - I had a check-up last month when I found out about my chemical one, so I've asked all the questions I needed to.

Bet you're all sorry you asked now. Grin

broodylicious · 15/10/2014 18:09

Lol at sticky love chantelleGrinGrin

broodylicious · 15/10/2014 18:06

Big congrats some!! That's great news!! Thanks

Glad there was love for my deer pic, you lovely lot Smile Don't ever let me post pics of my dd though or I'll never stop Wink

Towards the end of Cd29/12dpo here. Very nauseous and incredibly knackered and keep getting a heavy pressure feeling at the bottom of my throat/top of chest. I did a pg test about an hr ago and I'm sure I could see a very faint line but I must have imagined it as there's nothing there now. Won't test now til Friday promise

Apprentice again tonight. Love it! Although already missing gbbo.

Frolicacid · 15/10/2014 17:57

Congratulations some.

want - well done you for not POAS today! You aren't out until AF arrives so fx for you.

I was gutted at my temp drop this morning.
But, the fact that there is no point symptom spotting any more has restored my sanity immensely. I've had a really productive day at work due to not obsessing over every twinge, mood or feeling. I reckon the 2ww must cost the economy billions every year! Imagine how many women's productivity is impaired by manic symptom spotting every month?!

It's wet and miserable here, my least favourite kind if autum day. I will be having a long bath, a take away and a beer tonight to cheer myself up.

mzzzf · 15/10/2014 17:56

Oh and give us your stats Somesort!

mzzzf · 15/10/2014 17:55

Yay Somesort all good news - the BFP and you wanting to hang out here for a bit longer Smile

Loving the deer piccie - autumn is just beautiful. And as weird as it seems I actually enough rain too. And don't get me started on the awesomeness of snow!!

Chandlers pre pill I actually had ridiculously regular periods but I think my GP is being a bit over zealous really. I have been tested before when I was in my early teens (negative) but nothing since. However, I'm happy to take all tests offered!

Treacle that chart looks interesting! Smile

Thepurplegiraffe · 15/10/2014 17:54

Congratulations Biscuit that is amazing, talk about beating the odds! Keeping everything crossed that this bean sticks.

whitwoochantelle · 15/10/2014 17:48

I can see it some! Sending sticky love! Sounds so wrong haha!! How exciting xxx
