Manic symptom watching!

Babymamababy · 01/10/2014 20:15

Hi all,

This is a place for all manic symptom watchers to share stories and convince themselves they have each other's symptoms! Nothing like a healthy dose of mania to ease the real anxiety and worry ttc can cause!

I myself have just recently started ttc and have seen myself go from a fully rounded adult to a manic symptom checker.
So today's symptom is a pinchy like pain in my left lower abdomen...could be wind...but no...as a manic symptom checker...I'm convincing myself it's a sign of implantation!
I will share a new one everyday. Please add your own...I want to have them too&!

Emz I also live in North Wales! Random!! ShockShock Funny how different the nhs care is across the UK! My symptoms (if it helps) is really really sore boobs - can't go over bumps in the car they hurt that much and I feel a bit sick but not as much as I thought I might do, hardly anything really! I'm not particularly tired either although I'm the type of person that can sleep anywhere at any time even if I've had a 12 hour sleep, I'm a really good sleeper so maybe that's why xxx

5 days so far.

AF usually appears on day 33 so am on day 38. Got a BFN on day 33 (maybe a bit too keen!) and so am trying to wait a full week before trying again and then seeing a Dr regardless of result.

In the meantime, the symptom spotting continues:

  • Snapping at things when I wouldn't normally
  • Digestive issues continue
  • Sensitive boobs
  • AF being late.

I feel the same as you though. It was almost like I was wishing so much for it not to happen that, er, I made it not happen/

Fingers crossed for a nicer Dr!

Im starting to think if i dont think to much about it my period will just arrive! Or maybe it wont who knows!!!! Dizzy are you testing on thursday? How nany days late are you?

dizzylemon · 11/11/2014 09:14

Not sure where you are, but do you have NHS drop ins available to you? Or another doctor? Sounds like utter pap and I'm sorry you're having a hard time of it.

(nothing new to report from me...waiting till Thursday morning)

EmzLou23 · 10/11/2014 23:32

Sorry Girls Iv Not Had Internet For A Few Days. Im On Cycle Day 61 :( 4 Weeks Late For My Period And This Months Period Was Due Today But Thats Still Not Arrived. So No October Period & November Period Is Late. Iv Not Taken A Test Since I Was At The Doctors 2 Weeks Ago. Got Blood Test Results Tho But They Didn't Check For Pregnancy So I Have To Go Back. I Cba With The Doctor As She Was Ratty With Me So I Might Not Bother. Not Sure If I Should Do Another Home Test? I Would Be 7/8 Weeks If I Was Preggo So Surely I Would Have Some Signs In My Body??

crazypuglady · 10/11/2014 14:05

Urgh I really don't know what's happening in there. I came off the pill on 18th October, had no withdrawal bleed. Before pill (10 years ago) I was 28 day regular. Had EWCM around 27th/28th October so CD10, does that sound right for ovulation? So now CD22, which should mean AF any day. I'm having some mild cramping, my nipples are incredibly sensitive (apologies for TMI), I keep getting tiny waves of nausea that go as quickly as they come, and I keep smelling this sickly sweet smell.

I'm trying to put off POAS as long as possible as we are taking it easy and I don't want to get my hopes up. I mean what are the chances really? I probably didn't even OV as it was so soon after coming off the pill right? We've said if AF hasn't arrived by sunday (CD29) then I will POAS, come on willpower, don't fail me now!

Blimeygirl · 10/11/2014 11:10

Place marking dh and I are just starting ttc. It's all very exciting isn't it! Guaranteed that I will end up manic symptom spotting!

dizzylemon · 10/11/2014 09:51

I guess I should point out I'm on day 37 now with AF still alluding me. Still I would rather wait till a week is past my average cycle (33 days, so day 40 I suppose!) though this is the longest I've been with AF since I can remember.

I'm still feeling a bit 'blegh' and a bit fatigued, but tiredness is normal for me at this time of the year. I wish it were all a bit more clear cut :)

dizzylemon · 09/11/2014 21:43

Some spotting. Could be AF start, might not be. Wait and see I suppose!

Bustherb · 09/11/2014 17:21

Dizzy lemon and Emz how have you both got on?xx

dizzylemon · 07/11/2014 07:49

Sending positive wishes. Good luck Emz!

One app said I was supposed to start AF yesterday so I did a test...BFN. Boo! Another said today so we'll see. I've been fairly light on AF signs but am remaining optimistic.

Happy Friday all!

Bustherb · 06/11/2014 20:59

Let us know how you get on tomorrow Emz xxxxxx sending lots of luck xxxx Wink

alliecal · 05/11/2014 17:20

Oh Emz you must be so frustrated! Its tiring itself just finding the symptoms and running with them. Ive done so many tests over the past few months and each one negative. I know deep down to do one now will be pointless and neg again but im finding it hard to resist, just have to bear the 2ww! Fx to you too hun! X

EmzLou23 · 05/11/2014 16:56

Allie i know how you feel. In the first week i was late every twinge, cramp, runny nose, backache, headache, metalic taste in mouth was for sure a sign i was pregnant! Now being 27 days late i dont have any off those feelings. Think iv gotton used to the fact that i must be having an off month ha! Fx for you tho! X

alliecal · 05/11/2014 16:44

Hello all, thought id join in as i am quite possibly the most msc of us all!

Every vivid dream, twinge, cramp, bout of heartburn and nausea, headache and metalic taste in my mouth is a sign of being preggo to me! Having been preggo before i know that some of these aren't present till later in pregnancy but i am dead cert that i MUST be haha!
Last weeks test was neg, AF due sunday.. by the time i get to test ill have no hair from being so impatient that ill be thinking thats a sign itself!!

EmzLou23 · 05/11/2014 15:27

I had blood tests at the doctors today and should get results on friday!!! Fx for me!!!! Bust think positive everything will be fine for you :) x

Bustherb · 04/11/2014 18:12

GrinGrin Yes I'm very scared/excited/nervous , I keep thinking what if I mc Confused think it's normal to worry like that though xxx

EmzLou23 · 04/11/2014 14:09

The nurse i seen was abit catty!! She thinks it could just be a late period, im not to sure tho. My left boob feels bigger on the side and hurts slightly but i dont know what to think anymore. Maybe im just having a off month! Ahh 5 weeks :) :) bet your excited!!!!! X

Bustherb · 04/11/2014 13:55

Awwww Emz!!! ConfusedShock Have the doctors said what they think it might be? I'm 5 weeks 2 days Grin although I keep checking if I'm spotting every time I go to the toilet. Hmm Confused I am thirsty all the time, could drink pints and pints of water so that could be a symptom for those ttc xxxx

EmzLou23 · 04/11/2014 10:33

Hi Bust. Im still not on AF yet. Im on cycle day 56 so that makes me 25 days late. The doctors dont think im pregnant but will do blood test on wednesday to see if they can pick anything else up that might be wrong! Will keep you all updated. Bust how far along are you? X

dizzylemon · 04/11/2014 10:14

I'm going to join in Smile

Experiencing bouts of mild heartburn (which I never get. Ever. And no changes to diet or exercise), the most horrendous bloating and wind Blush

Been quite thirsty. Also had the TMI alert weirdest stringy, jelly CM - I would have thought it fertile mucus had it not been so close to AF time.

AF is imminent. Guess I wait and test if she doesn't appear Smile.

Hope all is well with everyone else on the thread Grin

Bustherb · 02/11/2014 09:08

Awwww I'm sorry to hear that embarrassed. I'm sure you will catch this month Grin sending lots of luck and hugs xxxxxx

EmbarrassedPossessed · 01/11/2014 19:28

Ah, I'm out this month as AF has arrived today, a week late for no discernible reason. Now at least I can focus on this next cycle.

I'm a little sad though :-(

Bustherb · 01/11/2014 17:51

Hi girls! How's everyone doing?xxx Grin

Bustherb · 30/10/2014 09:32

Thanks so much to everyone! I'm very scared, excited, nervous! I don't know anything about pregnancy ShockShock I still don't think it's real, have to keep looking back at a pic of my test that I sent to the hubby. Can anyone recommend any books to buy? Sending lots of baby dust to you Emz. Don't worry I'll be checking in on you girls to see how everyone's getting on WinkGrin xxxx
