Manic symptom watching!

Babymamababy · 01/10/2014 20:15

Hi all,

This is a place for all manic symptom watchers to share stories and convince themselves they have each other's symptoms! Nothing like a healthy dose of mania to ease the real anxiety and worry ttc can cause!

I myself have just recently started ttc and have seen myself go from a fully rounded adult to a manic symptom checker.
So today's symptom is a pinchy like pain in my left lower abdomen...could be wind...but no...as a manic symptom checker...I'm convincing myself it's a sign of implantation!
I will share a new one everyday. Please add your own...I want to have them too&!

Purplelilly - any good news? X

Purplelilly · 26/12/2014 15:05

I thought I was 11dpo today, but turns out I'm 10dpo. I got a bfn this morning which I expected as it is that bit early to test.

I've not had CM since ovulation, but today I've got quite a bit of wattery cm.
My boobs are a bit tender and I've been down and tearful for a few days which I do get in the week before AF, but probably exasperated by it being Christmas.

Pixa · 26/12/2014 10:44

AF arrived yesterday, disappointed but we are okay. If anything that little glimmer has just made us more excited about our future. Smile

Sorry to hear that Beachmummy. FlowersWine

Let's hope for some BFPs in the New Year.

Beachmummy3 · 26/12/2014 10:41

Bfn, I'm out....
Best wishes to everyone still in the 2ww

Beachmummy3 · 25/12/2014 21:48

Congrats iniquity perfect Christmas pressy!!

Bfn here again, I'm even imagining (they aren't there) bfp faint lines now.... Have decided tomorrow fmu I'll use my last frer & leave it after that, no more poas

iniquity · 24/12/2014 23:56

I think I was 15 dpo and I used a Lloyd's pharmacy one. I was trying for a while.
To be honest I had less symptoms than the non pregnant months. The only thing different was hot flushes bordering on menopausal which had me worried.

Beachmummy3 · 24/12/2014 22:19

pixa sounds very exciting!!!!! Maybe go out boxing day or day after to get frer or cb digital?
I retested on (probably well diluted & not held long enough) a tesco one. Bfn. Don't think I am now. But that's prob for the best.

Eeek, let us know how your test comes alone (don't worry, lots of men don't see, or don't believe v.faint lines) :-)

Merry Christmas all!

Pixa · 24/12/2014 21:45

Congratulations Inquinity!

Sorry Beachmummy, my only advice would be to retest.

I did a retest this morning and had another very, extremely, faint line. I don't actually know what to believe as DH can't see it! Posted it on canyouseealine and I have had the majority of yes votes but that still doesn't make it real. However, AF hasn't shown today which is a blessing. Will take each day as it comes but I really want to start getting excited.

Beachmummy3 · 24/12/2014 19:34

Well that's new... Strong control line on ic.... Clearly visible indent line where I'd assume bfp line would go (I hate those indents) which wasn't of any colour whatsoever.... But on the side of the test (not the front where you read from) there was a strong pink mark next to the indent.... Any ideas please?
Will use tesco one tomorrow morning though not a clue how sensitive they are. Will use frer Boxing Day at 11dpo (with dc3 I got faint bfp on ic at 11dpo).....

Beachmummy3 · 24/12/2014 18:47

Sorry to hear that kelbri I'm currently waiting for the pink to turn white on my ic, can only see control line atm, not expecting to even see a faint bfp. Symptoms gone here so maybe a bug here too x

kelbri29 · 23/12/2014 23:01

Congratulations iniquity AF showed tonight, so dont know whats going on with me, still feel sick so thinking im sick, maybe thats why im 5 days late now Sad

Beachmummy3 · 23/12/2014 20:39

Yay well done iniquity!! How many dpo are you & which brand did you test with? Xmas Smile

iniquity · 23/12/2014 20:36

Bfp for me Smile

dizzylemon · 23/12/2014 20:36

I can't really give a definate answer due to cycles being up the creek!

As an example: today I got EWCM and so used an opk which was indeed positive. Apparantly temping is the best indicator and I've had no rises, so it's possible I'm still waiting.

I'm on cycle day 38. May have to get back to you about dpo! :s

kelbri29 · 23/12/2014 20:05

sounds good to me
beachmummy3 dpo ?8
kelbri29 dpo between 17 and 19

Beachmummy3 · 23/12/2014 15:04

Shall we start a list?
beachmummy3 dpo ?8

Beachmummy3 · 23/12/2014 11:43

Aww iniquity deep breaths and big smiles Xmas SmileFlowers and let us know how you get on when you do x

iniquity · 23/12/2014 11:06

AF has not shown despite feeling like it was just starting.
I was sick this morning sobim feeling optimistic.
I have a stick and I'm not afraid to use it. ( well abit afraid perhaps)

McBaby · 23/12/2014 10:48

Yes period can stop if your breastfeeding how long varies person to person and baby to baby.

Beachmummy3 · 23/12/2014 10:08

Ic are brilliant! Smile

dizzylemon · 23/12/2014 09:59

McBaby - sounds promising. And since you've been through it bfore and you feel it then it must be true. Tricky when AF isn't behaving. Does AF stop during breastfeeding?

Beachmummy - it should all be the same really so doesn't matter when you start collecting. Concentration only differs by when in the day you go and how much you've had to drink (which is why they suggest first morning wee!)

kelbri - I'm 7 months off the pill now and my cycles have no settled. AF is MIA for me too. Go to the doctor when you can?

My morning cupper made me nauseous this morning. Sign? Figure I may test again tomorrow. Feel less bad about with the internet cheapies :)

Beachmummy3 · 23/12/2014 09:47

Ooh good luck pixa!! Was the line slightly pink/blue (depending on your test)? Hopefully will be darker for you tomorrow!! Smile

mcbaby sounds hopeful!!
I'm here as I started my pill pack a few days late, but now feel Id be disappointed if Im not pregnant... I'm assuming if I did ovulate it was on days of missed pills, although I did feel a popping/cramping/stabbing on the 15th, so could that have been ovulTion? If it was then I'm only 8dpo Confused

Pixa · 23/12/2014 09:23

Sorry to hear that Kelbri and Beachmummy.

Fmu test and I am so so confused. I think I see something, but not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me, whether it's an evap or a shadow. DH is useless when it comes to tests. I guess I have to wait to test again tomorrow but fingers are firmly crossed here. This is our third cycle trying so still early days but we have wanted to try since early 2013 so it's a long time coming!
