Hello, this is a follow on from the half stone for September thread! Natty and I decided it was time to re-think our goals!!

Here is a big kick from me.

You must try and do some more exercise if you want to lose a few extra pounds, i know books etc say when ttc just do walking and swimming, which are fine but i really think you need to get that heart pumping and slightly out of breath for it to have a benefit.

So please aim to go on your stepper 3 times a week for 30 mins, you can try other things like skipping, star jumps having a little dance to music.

Come on we can do it . xxxxx

MrsMcJnr · 19/10/2006 11:56

Hello stayed the same but do feel more motivated and have written everything down so far today. I still have 24 1/2 pounds to lose. If I can even lose 8.5 before Xmas (that would make me 11 stone) I would be happy but if I could lose double that, and be 10 st 5.5 - I'd be ecstatic.

Natty - if you think I am falling back into my bad ways, can you give me a kick?!

Coggy - we'll get there together!

Oh well extra good this week then and back to class next week as there will only be 8 weeks til Christmas - how much more you gotta lose? x

coggy · 19/10/2006 08:29

I have stayed the same on my scales...........naked.

The worrying thing is that I have to wear clothes when I weigh-in at class!!!

(Slightly cheaty I know!!!! But it made me feel better!!!!!)

Natty1806 · 19/10/2006 07:24

I thought you had stayed the same though?

coggy · 18/10/2006 21:36

indignatio...no it's at 10 am!!!!
Had the dentist at 9.10 so it would have been pushing it anyway this morning but I could have made a bit more of an effort if I'd wanted too!!!

Natty...I'm like someone who tidies up before their cleaner comes!!!
I want to lose a couple of pounds before I go back!!!
Am I completely mad do you think???!!!!

Natty1806 · 18/10/2006 19:22

Tut tut coggy is that the end of RC?

Maybe you could just weigh at home.

x

indignatio · 18/10/2006 19:03

coggy
Is there still time to go ?

coggy · 18/10/2006 19:01

Don't ask me.....

I have been bad.............

......I didn't go.......

.....I am ashamed.........

.....but I was scared!!

Natty1806 · 18/10/2006 17:55

mmmmmmmmm i can't wait to start that diet, will give the juice a miss though.

A stone is it not only meant to be 3lbs? I bet it is only 3lbs if you have really bad m/s and can't eat anything.

Thats for wishing us luck.

Let us know how you get on Mrs and coggy. x

Juicylucythe2nd · 18/10/2006 16:27

errr

Juicylucythe2nd · 18/10/2006 16:27

Just knackered all the time with occasional bouts of hunger / nausea.

All abit strange really.

But definately enjoying the chip butties {grin]

MrsMcJnr · 18/10/2006 14:41

JL2 - so glad you are enjoying yourself, budge up and I'll come for a spin, you can keep the prune juice though YUCK!! How are you feeling and is it all odd?

Natty - I think you're right, I'll make a bug effort to write everything down.

OP posts:
coggy · 18/10/2006 14:28

Juicy....yummmmmmmmmmmm and yuck!!!!!

Juicylucythe2nd · 18/10/2006 13:44

Hi Girls, just thought I'd drop in to wish you luck with your weigh ins.

Just thought I'd let you know what the diet of a first trimester girly looks like: chip butties, lots of toast, crisp sandwiches whenever the mood takes me, generally lots of fatty creamy food to keep off the nausea. Oh yes and water, water and more water.

Fully expect to have put on a stone by the end of the first trimester.

MrsMJ - jump up onto the wagon, there's plenty of room and I've got some lovely prune juice to sip on - did I mention one of the other side effects!

Natty1806 · 18/10/2006 13:13

Hopefully tonights class will imspire you.

Write everything down even on bad days, i don't always work out the calories on bad days but always make sure it is written down.

I am goign to focus on getting to goal by Christmas rather than a BFP because at least i know i can get to goal if i work hard whereas the BFP i think lies in the hands of fate. x

MrsMcJnr · 18/10/2006 12:30

Thanks Natty.

I really WANT to lose the weight but I seem to have no motivation or am more interested in other things going on in my life - of which there are probably too many.

I have tried to get addicted to the website for the plan I am following (and spend less time on here) but I just get bored. I looked at my card and I have been back at Scottish Slimmers 10 weeks and am only 3 pounds lighter than when I started. My friend has lost 12 pounds in the same time but she is really focused.

I keep hoping that going to class will focus me again but then I forget and just go back to my bad ways of not counting or writing things down. I am so frustrated with myself.

I know that the food I have been eating has been more healthy. I am really trying hard to eat more fruit, more vegetables and less refined stuff. I have cut out fizzy drinks and caffeine and I am trying with the alcohol and have been better so it is not as if I am eating anything and everything but I can't seem to count calories at the mo! Tonight's class might help! Good luck today Coggy!

Good Luck girls for your weigh ins tonight.

Natty1806 · 17/10/2006 08:19

Good girl coggy on steps,

Was not too bad over the weekend, back to being a saint now (well trying)

Don't know what is wrong with my body at this time of the month i seem to get all moody and down in the dumps and feel like it is never going to happen. THink it is to do with the antisipation (?) of ovulation, what day will it happen, will i have bd enough etc etc.

So as of period starting around 10th Dec i am not going to chart at all, count days or look out for signs as it will get me down just before Christmas and we can't have that can we. x

coggy · 16/10/2006 23:13

Well...it's been a bit quiet here over the past few days hasn't it??!!

Does that mean we've all been good or bad??!!

I walked 8,003 steps yesterday and I'm just off to bed at 11,289 today.....good stuff eh?
Thanks Natty.

The eating plan it 'underway' shall we say!
Off to Tescos (or online if I can't be bothered) on Weds. so my plan needs to be done tomorrow.
I will have such a nasty shock at my class on Weds am that I'm sure I will be a perfect saint after that..........for a while!!!!

Natty1806 · 13/10/2006 18:58

Well done

coggy · 13/10/2006 18:09

Oh yum!!!!!

Yes...my food plan is good and I will do it.
I'm out for a meal tonight with my work friends but I can read my RC book and make a meal planner tomorrow.

I am very pleased with myself as I have done 7,753 steps since you told me to put my pedometer on......not bad eh?!

Thank you!!!!!

Natty1806 · 13/10/2006 17:59

Sorry about the gain Mrs, yeah join the boot camp. LOL

Think you should aim to do at least 20 minutes every other day or just 10 mins a day.

Today is my naughty day i have had a sausage roll from the butchers for breakfast, a ham and cheese baguette for lunch, a bar of fruit and nut mid afternoon and for dinner take away pizza with rose wine.

But tomorrow i go back to being good just one treat day a week rather than my usual Fri - Sun junk food diet.

x

MrsMcJnr · 13/10/2006 14:53

Well done Natty you are scary by the way!!! Coggy - you had such a good plan for the shopping too!

Indignatio - I know which reading I'd go for!

I put 1/2 pound on this week think I'll join Natty boot camp! I did do 20mins of sweating on my cross trainer this morning!
