Hello Coggy! must be the weather giving you that sore head and those muffins were only small weren't they?

Oh dear Natty...............why are you feeling bad today?

Natty1806 · 03/10/2006 14:31

nadinetd · 03/10/2006 14:21

no will power i seem to want to eat more when im on anyway.
i dont think i need to try clomid just yet as i ovulate and have periods like clockwork and as i feel within 5 months before i guess as i started trying again in may it hasnt been that long really xx

Natty1806 · 03/10/2006 13:52

i am on clomid as is a few other ladies on her, there is a clomid thread where more experienced ladies will answer your questions. I am on it as i was not ovualting and have slight polycystic ovaries. I am only on the first month though.

You have no will power either today then or is it all being counted in?

nadinetd · 03/10/2006 12:48

i just ate a prawn baguette and pack of crisps pig eh, just wondering have u guys heard of clomid if so what is it and how does it work? could i get it?

Natty1806 · 03/10/2006 12:24

MrsMcJnr · 03/10/2006 11:40

Hi all, Am happy whatever is decided in terms of confessing food sins, and when to advise of weight losses. I have LOTS of food confessions: take-away curry on Friday and then meal out for PIL anniversary last night (couldn't resist the garlic bread and big cheesy lasagne).

And one advance confession for lunch today - Going for thai food with MrsMcJ and I know I'm going to be bad. Going to try to make up for it for the rest of the week.

nadinetd · 03/10/2006 10:50

im so glad i came on here you all seem juust what i need.
good luck to all x

Natty1806 · 03/10/2006 09:39

It would be easier to keep up to date if we all posted our weight losses on the same day, but i am not fussed either way. Yeah agree that people must confess if they have had bad day and then others who are being good can point them in the right direction. x

MrsMcJnr · 03/10/2006 09:28

Hello Pussycat! welcome, hope you are feeling a bit better. I think that if I didn't have scales at home (mine are cheapy ones from Debs) and I wasn't going to class (shouldn't be weighing in at home anyway ) I'd go to Boots once a week and weigh on their scales, probably more accurate and give more info than bathroom scales.

I am going to make losing weight and eating healthy food my focus next cycle. It has double benefits and I might feel less of a failure. I have been pathetic in my losing weight attempts over the last year and a half!

Welcome to Nadinedt too! Well done with your losses to date, fabulous! only 3 more pounds left to go?

Now, Natty and Coggy I have nominated you as our committee!! How are we going to run things? are we going to do daily confessions on food, alcohol and exercise like we did last month or are we just going to do weekly weigh ins? and if we do, should we all post the loss (or gain ) on the same day regardless of when we got weighed that week so the thread is easier to read?

HOW R U ALL DOING

coggy · 03/10/2006 07:32

I'm going to start the IUI after Christmas I think.

The meeting to discuss it went well and I feel much more confident about doing the daily injections (although obviously I would love to not need to!!!)

So.....watch this space for coggy's multiples I guess!!!!!

pussycatmomma · 02/10/2006 21:48

good for you coggy, hope you are enjoying it! by the way , i have been reading up on iui, and my sister in law had the procedure. As soon as i read about the sperm washing and putting back etc it clicked with me that was what she had described to me. I didnt know her back then, me and dh together for 4 yrs , her twins are 8 now. How is it all going for you?

coggy · 02/10/2006 21:40

Can you tell that I've had two VERY large glasses of wine and not thinking (or seeing) very straight???!!!!

Ooops!!
NOT a good example to set a new disciple of thin-ness eh?!

coggy · 02/10/2006 21:39

Oh...........and of course wannaBe and Juicy Lucy (and Rachee who I note hasn't been around and weighing for quite some time now.....tut tut!!!! )

coggy · 02/10/2006 21:31

Good to see you on here Pussycat..........it's several of us old timers on here anyway so you're in good company!!

Trace recently arrived and has now left again(for good reason!!)

Hopecat, Natty, MrsMac and I started the original "Twiglet Threads" but are still on our battle in fighting the flab with various results.

We have lots of Christmas converts which is FAB!!!

Here's to all of us skinnies.......!!!

pussycatmomma · 02/10/2006 21:17

hello, i just wondered if i could join? i am normally on the ttc thread for the oldtimers, but thought maybe i should branch out a little! This thread title suited me just fine. Any one mind if i join in?? Losing a stone would be just perfect for me right now, and i could really do with the support. I dont have scales at home, but am thinking of buying some just to find a starting point. Can any one recomend any? Hope to chat to you all in the coming weeks
Heres hoping trying to lose weight will be yet another thing to try and take my mind off ttc
(((((((((hugs to all)))))))))))

OP posts:
RachelRose · 02/10/2006 12:47

Hi!

I weighed myself on Friday so have my starting weight. I dont normally weigh myself at all and can still (vaguely) remember the time I was 8 stone something. Not anymore though . Am about 2 stone heavier now!!

Behaved quite badly (food-wise ) at the weekend, so dont really deserve a to have lost anything but I'll be trying hard this week.

MrsMcJnr · 02/10/2006 09:21

Morning all!

Coggy - the average person puts on 1/2 stone on holiday so 6 pounds is good plus, how annoying would it be if you stayed the same when you ate anything and everything you want and then didn't lose when you tried really hard? that's how I think of my honeymoon stone anyway (now 4 months ago and I still have it

Donbean - you have to go to class, that will wipe the slate clean for the next week and give you your motivation back. If you don't go, you'll find it even harder to go the next week and you might give up. Be brave!

How is everyone else? feel lardy today!

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 01/10/2006 09:57

6 pounds is not too bad coggy remember you had just lost 12? in a few weeks so i am sure in two weeks time that 6 pounds will have gone.
