whoops! belly button!

greedyguzzler · 29/11/2006 17:10

big boobs are always good! just wish mine weren't so saggy!!!!!!! are you sure you want babies? yours will be swinging round your beely button after like mine are!

MrsMcJnr · 29/11/2006 16:21

well, the bottoms are tight twelves just now and the tops are 14s I do have big boobs and not much of a bum but I should be much smaller everywhere - apart from the boobs that never change (well apart from their extra largeness at the moment - feel like that Look At LoLo from Eurotrash!)

greedyguzzler · 28/11/2006 20:23

so hang on......you weigh about 11st 7lbs at the mo? is that what you said? and you fit into 10/12 bottoms and 12/14 tops? whats wrong with me then? all my clothes are a size 14 at the mo and i am only a bit more than 11st 7lbs. NOT FAIR! i think my weight is badly distributed. i think you must have HUGE knockers and be carrying your weight there! am i right?

MrsMcJnr · 28/11/2006 16:57

Me too, 10/12 on the bottom at 10 st and 12/14 on the top. Not that I'm wearing anything bigger now but I'm definately at the larger end and the clothes could do with some room in them! you're tall! I'm just a smurf!

OP posts:
greedyguzzler · 28/11/2006 16:51

i am nearer 12 at the moment!!!!!!! scarey!!!!! i am 5ft11 though, but i like to be 11st! i ama nice size 12 at 11st and thats what i like!

MrsMcJnr · 28/11/2006 16:49

It's Scottish Slimmers, it's very like WW but I got to target 6 years ago with SS so thought I'd give it another go. I am useless though, only lost 1/2 stone (now even less ) since the Summer. I have 1 1/2 stone to go until I hit 10 stone which is where I'd like to be but I've always been curvy and find it hard to stay at 10 stone. I'm 5.6".

greedyguzzler · 28/11/2006 16:46

is it weight watchers or slimming world or another? i have done ww, sw, atkins, cabbage soup diet, tuc biscuits diet, gi diet, EVERYTHING!!!!!!! except for the chewing gum diet!!!!!! that is a real one someone was telling me about it the other day! i am considering the juice diet at the mo?! what do you reckon?

MrsMcJnr · 28/11/2006 16:40

PMSL - this Weds when I get on the scales at my weight class and if I am heavy I'll ask if I can go and have a poo and get re-weighed!

OP posts:
greedyguzzler · 28/11/2006 16:33

yes, but have you done a poo today? i reckon that is AT LEAST 2lbs, so go and do a poo and then reweigh yourself!

MrsMcJnr · 28/11/2006 16:29

I put on 2 pounds last week and was too disgusted to tell you

Ready · 27/11/2006 19:34

I did some "puff" ish exercise today! I walked to the post office and back, very briskly. Not brilliant I know, but considering how cold it is and I didn't take the car - I'm pretty proud of myself

MrsMcJnr · 20/11/2006 12:17

Liking the name! I'm considering "Don'tevenmentionbabiestome!"

Thanks for your info re the op. DH used to play football 4 times a week and run marathons so he was pretty fit but has had shin splints for months so couldn't play, now he is wondering if the shin splints (which were on the left only) might have been a result of his overcompensating for the back problem which means that hopefully, he'll be back being sporty before long!

MorethanReadyandGettingImpatientWithEveryPassingDay??? Sums me up a treat!

get a hipflask for your red wine!!! so as not to make MrMc jealous.

A friend of MrReady has got a slipped disc (sorry was asking DH about your DH ) and he heard that the recovery time was about 4-5 weeks. That was a sport related thing, so I am not sure how much different that would be. Just thought I would tell you.

MrsMcJnr · 20/11/2006 11:59

How about "MorethanReady" I know you are with me here, thank you! Not been great this weekend but figure that now that we have cancelled all public appearances in December due to DH's back, it should be easier and I doubt we'll be drinking either - well, he won't!! Don't know if I can resist the odd lovely, large glass of wine

Ready · 19/11/2006 17:06

I know that I can't replace Coggy and Natty, but I'm here for you MrsMcJnr - well done on your 7lbs!! Woo.

PS. It's ready4motherhood, but since it's easier to call me ready, i thought I would change.

MrsMcJnr · 17/11/2006 15:43

Thank you I have been better on the booze, promise!

I can't wait to be on the anti-natal boards either but it looks like we've hit a set back - DH has a slipped disc and needs an op so he wants to have that asap. I just hope we mamage to get the BFP this cycle or I shall be feeling very selfish and sad over the next couple of cycles. Sods law hey!

Coggy and Natty are taking a break from Mumsnet for a while. They felt it was becoming all consuming and not good for them. I shall really miss them too .

Indignatio - we'll get the pounds off together though won't we?

Wow MrsMJ - have you lost 7lb in total. That's fab. I don't think I got above 2lb the whole time I was trying. Weight loss has stopped, but not gaining yet either. However, now have to face the pilates video (didn't want to start it before the 12wk mark) uuggghhh. It won't exactly be aerobic, but I have to do something to keep some sort of shape.

Thanks for thinking of me. Miss you too. Can't wait to see you on the anti-natal boards. I expect you, Coggy and Natty over there before the year is out. That's an order

Indignatio - no need to apologise (I shouldn't even be here really)

MrsMcJnr · 17/11/2006 14:33

JL - thank you for coming to tell us, that it so lovely and I am so pleased. I have just posted for you on the ante-natal thread actually How are you feeling generally? still losing weight?

Indignatio - well done, a loss is the right direction and it has taken me 5 months to lose 7 pounds so you are much better than me!!

OP posts:
indignatio · 17/11/2006 14:09

Sorry - congrats JL

indignatio · 17/11/2006 14:08

OK - lost 3/4lb this week - not sure how as I haven't been very good (too much choc). Need large kick up large behind to get me motivated again.

I have just worked out that it has taken 2 months to lose 7lb - not the fastest rate of progess in the world

Juicylucythe2nd · 17/11/2006 13:56

Just wanted to let you know my scan went fab on Tuesday and pod is tall (don't know who from as me and DH are not) and has a big nose (good sign as far as defects go - definately DH's baby )

Feeling much more confident.

Have a fab weekend girls.

ready4motherhood · 16/11/2006 11:15

Well done on the 1/2lb!! And I would say that wet jeans weigh a lb!!!!!!

Still feeling poorly and sorry for myself!

Natty1806 · 16/11/2006 10:04

Well done on the 0.5 pound loss

MrsMcJnr · 16/11/2006 09:46

Tor14 and Ready - both sound like you are doing well on the food front. Sorry you are still feeling rubbish Ready.

Got to my class late in a complete fluster because of my GD (long story!) I only lost 1/2 pound but I blame my wet jeans, she wouldn't let me take them off!

This week, I plan to be really good, write everything down, count it all in and really try to boost my activity levels.
